- Barre Abs is designed to make you work your Abs and achieve the best toned and lean Ballet abs you’ve always dreamt about. Barre Abs is a way to do standing Abs workout but with all the other benefits a normal ballet barre exercises can give you.

This workout is amazing!!! I felt that my legs were also dying hahahahaha, I love the fact that when the exercises get harder, you also are out of breath, that's refreshing!!

I decided to scroll to some older ones tonight. I read my comment from a few years ago, and I'm pretty sure I'm following up the same fitness barre video with the fondus. This time I did the entire abs videos with the even worse fondues in this one! I think the Santa hat around his neck looks like a royal cape/robe! I just have my stuffed animals joining me for the workout. I have yet to put away the stuffed decor I set out for Christmas. Ballet is a lot more fun than putting away Christmas boxes. (Yes it's February...)

i decided to do the first half of the video with the plies and ab "crunch" moves after one of your fitness barre videos since I had already done those evil fondus in the other video! (i don't have great extension and have never liked fondus) it was perfect for a bit more ab work instead of my typical floor ab routine. I did not get the additional exercise from picking up a cat between exercises!

Absolutely yes! Core is a multitude of muscles which help stabilize the thorax and the pelvis during dynamic movement and it also provides internal pressure for your internal organs. :)
Major muscles included in the core are the pelvic floor muscles, transversus abdominis, multifidus, internal and external obliques, rectus abdominis, erector spinae (sacrospinalis) especially the longissimus thoracis, and the diaphragm. Minor core muscles include the latissimus dorsi, gluteus maximus, and trapezius.

That was hard, I agree with the hip flexor comments. The cat is adorable, my cat tried to sit on my chair but I sent him flying when we changed sides.
Ahaha Poor Kitty! They are lucky i have grippy chairs they can hold on to! :-/ I think i'll have to replace them soon! Tilt your pelvis forward a little Kara, find the lower abs. :) Ciao Alessia

I have one question on this particular vid though - during the routine, I could feel the burn in my hip flexors(joints bet thighs and upper body) and not in the abs. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi There! Well done on getting up and getting your fitness fix in the morning! Bravo! To answer your question, yes you are doing it right, hip flexor will work, but if you want to feel your abs doing the job too trying tilting your pelvis slightly forward , therfore you will activate your lower abdominals ! Hi Alessia, I LOVE this workout! I just have a question about the last movement. Should my supporting leg be in parallel or in first position? I found it very difficult to keep balance in first position. Just want to confirm I am doing it right. Thanks!
