Just did this workout for the first time and it was burninggggggg (in a good way). I danced ballet for 10 years, had a 4 year pause and now I’m starting again. Trying to get my strength and flexibility back and your workouts really help ❤️
I just found your videos and i love them and you! I studied ballet for years, and then stopped after developing terrible neuropathy . Now I have atrophying muscles and terrible balance. I just bought a barre and I'm determined to get my body back (even if the neuro damage is permanent). Thank you so much and I love your cat and your apartment too.
I love all your videos. I've been taking ballet now for only 2-1/2 years as an adult. I always wanted to take classes as a child but never did. Instead i would read may ballet technique books i'd borrow from the public library as a child. Was told i was to tall by dance teacher at school and that I should do modern dance. I did gymnastics in High School and then I did local modeling as a teen. So at the age of 57 I began adult classes in Upstate NY at the Saugerties Ballet Center twice a week. Now i'm taking Adult Beginner classes at The Joffrey Ballet School in NYC twice a week for 1-1/2 hours each night and practice your videos at home. I work long hours for a Sports & Entertainment lawyer as a legal assistant during the day hours. I will soon be 60 in October this year. Ballet keeps me feeling young & flexible. Watching and doing your videos have helped me improve so much. I carefully study your moves. Keep up the great work. Also, I just love you and your cats. i just did part of this one after your 23 ballet barre. I love these videos! I should just stop trying anyone else's. Thank you for your work. Everything is the perfect package - the exercises, the flow of the workout, the music, and your personality. I like the squeezing the oranges expression and there is another one you use that just left my brain that almost makes me crack up. I'll comment it next time i do the other video.
Wonderful. I am 51 and I live internationally so always travelling and no equipment or gym. This is perfect to do anywhere as it fits with my lifestyle. All the other types just make me bulky up on my legs

I've always been a Martial Arts lover. Strong, precise, agile movements... Ballet was never something that appealed to me until I actually went recently to see a live performance and I couldn't believe how the dancers used many of the same techniques that I did in my own training. It was amazing to me how strong they could be while remaining so graceful and light. It peaked my interest and I decided to try self-teaching until I could feel confident enough to join a class. These classes are amazing, challenging, and very insightful. Love them!
Shannon, it's great to hear you are enjoying ballet as much as Martial Arts. Yes they go very well together and I strongly believe that joining the two together is a big plus. I do this video a lot bc I have nerve damage in my arms currently that makes it difficult to move my arms. I would love if you could do more specific videos like this where it’s standing, concentrated on legs and abs with resting arms! Either way love your videos!
Another great video, suggestion.....some exercises to help with lower back tension and strain from jobs that involve sitting at a computer, lower back, shoulders, arms, sitting straight, you are such a help to so many people, thank you!

I really enjoyed this: the choreography (and yes, for me this was already choreography!) was simple enough that I didn't get lost, and the work was v. good.

I love this leg workout. I love the ballet videos that are approx 30 min and equal a “good workout”, ballet style. I have never taken ballet but always wanted to and I love your fun but tough style. Love this video for my weak legs! Because of Covid my ballet classes are cancelled. I am using this time to strengthen and stretch and get my splits hopefully.

thank you, Alessia. i have only room in my small kitchen, trying to remember them, more successful in a waist high pool because of buoyancy. unfortunately it is cold but very good for injury.
