This is the downside to buying parts online. Still, we're all learning from the experience! Thanks for posting.

I’m sorry to see what happened. Hopefully you’ll get your money back and source another soon.
Hard to tell if it was Evri’s fault or the person who packaged it.

Sorry to see that damaged radiator. Sometimes it pays to collect it even if it costs more. Hope you manage to resolve it.

What a bummer to find one at a decent price & then it turns up damaged.

I would have said a few swear words when I saw the radiator and have needed to lie down for a couple of hours. Hope rhis gets you to a happy ending eventually. 😢

If there was newspaper in the box, then the radiator can't be new, the manufacturer would not use that for packing, is it reconditioned?

I asked them to open it, so I assume they added newspaper for protection. loosely stuffed newspaper unfortunately add little protection

The air con wouldn't run through the water radiator, the threaded connections you showed are likely for oil from the gearbox.

It's definitely the aircon pipes running into the end of the radiator.

I think the heat pump scavenges heat from the coolant.

That’s a shame. Shipped all the way from around the other side of the would, all that CO2 to make it and ship it and Evri f**k it up in less than 200 miles. I bet they are rare and difficult to obtain in the UK too. 🤬

Courier companies can be really frustrating at times, a lot of people these days just don't care, as a result both parties lose out.

@@decimal1815 That's not far off what they told me when ours went in for its coolant recall at about 25k miles, not that we were paying for it! Service manager said it usually took several hours of running the coolant pumps with distilled water to flush out all of the original crystallised coolant and then another couple of hours circulating new coolant to get rid of any air locks. However the app showed the car was taken into the workshop a few minutes after I dropped it off and was back out in the car park just over an hour later, nice little earner for the dealer!
At the 40k service same dealer said the coolant was due for change, I'd already checked with Hyundai and they said it was due 40k from when the recall was done so at 65k miles, probably do it myself when the time comes.
