Man's got everything, a beautiful house , a sweet lovely girl , the best dad who's always flexing 😂 and a supporting brother. Lots of love for you two!!
This is one of my favorite RUclipss ever -- it's a tiny-home makeover, it's a bus conversion into a beautiful house, it's a dad working with his son on a cool project, and a love story. Amazing!
This is one of the best RUclips videos I’ve ever seen. Two brothers and their dad, working hard, having fun, and bringing joy and unity to a complex task-all to make a beautiful couple’s dream come true. The proposal at the end is just the cherry on top. Congratulations-this is beautifully done!
Why do you have to be “that guy”.. ?!? It’s a friggin’ school bus, meant to carry several hundred pounds. Just keep it to yourself. Geez… donkey @@p.chuckmoralesesquire3965

Young man I don't know you, but I'm so proud of you and your friends, your awesome dad who helped you build this business your home out! The proposal was the icing on the cake. You all should be very proud! That's one good looking home you all built.
This is probably the longest remodel I've seen in a while that had me smiling the whole time I was watching. Dad is a gem, family is on point, and we got to see the proposal at the end?!?!?! Congrats on the new home and engagement. Many blessings to you.
I missed the building and construction part. I wasn't with someone who is in construction anymore. :((( which lasted about a decade. now Im on a new journey.
I am a cynical 70 year old grumpy old man in a wheelchair but I have to say that this video made me teary eyed. The best of luck to you! You look like a very nice couple. Very impressive work on the bus.

Ok, I just paused the video where I started crying when you reveiled your secret, I thought, and this is a first, I am going to HIT THE THUMBS UP, and send you a Congratulations 🎉 ❤ your a true Man and a gentleman. Hope you two have a great life together which I already know you two will. Be patient with her, never argue, and let her allways be correct and you will not die in your sleep my friend ❤❤ .
Your dad is amazing man. Huge props to him. Also, my head can't wrap around the idea of weight and high speed movement against all of the stuff inside of this house. Which makes this far more amazing and magic-like for me.
@@daelusx I thought about that too but then I realised it's made to haul around the weight of more than 50 people. The weight will be the least of their worries, they used the wrong materials for something that will be subject to a lot of vibrations and different weather.

Impressive up until they used regular drywall in the shower. That’s going to lead to mold and mildew. Also they painted onto bare wood without priming… Mickey Mouse
I'm genuinely curious about two things: The added weight of the drywall and tile in comparison to other materials more commonly used in RV builds - usually people avoid these due to the weight cost - and the durability of these materials after putting some miles on the vehicle. Flex and vibration are notorious enemies of tile and drywall, as well as doors and windows made for homes instead of RVs. I genuinely wish you well on this, but if the experience of other schoolie builders means anything, you may be presented with some unforseen challenges.
I hope he drove it over some certified scales with all the tanks fully loaded! Ya know, to make sure the tires are within their limits and such, gotta be safe! I'm sure the gvwr will be sufficient, but sometimes weight has to be shifted around or tires upgraded to higher load ratings, etc.
Absolutely! Been living in lorry's for 15 years+ there is a lot of flex and movement, also after a couple of showers and washing up that small water tank will need filling, especially if like they said there both going to be showering every day !
I've watched 1000's of videos on RUclips but this is my favorite I've ever seen. A man on a mission to complete his life with the one he loves! Not to mention that you did great on the bus! Congrats you guys!
i don’t think i’ve ever been more proud of an internet stranger ever like this is an insane project that alone is life changing and then adding the proposal to the end im acujust in awe- CONGRATS AND I HOPE YALL HAVE THE MOST FUN
This really shows that humans are capable of quite nearly anything with ingenuity and a whole lot of sheer will. Congrats and I’m so happy the outcome was way beyond what I was expecting when seeing this in my recommended haha
Honestly……am speechless! This is magnificent. Although it’s clearly for young people, I still absolutely love it. You have thought of everything. Congratulations and many blessings for a wonderful future.
Man, this brought a tear to my eye. Great build and wonderful story. The love of a groom for His bride is so very powerful! And the love of your bride is just breathtaking. May His face shine on you both!
Yeah the build is just throwing money out the window. You can have a real house with 3 accomplished builders and all the money they put into that bus. This bus must be parked somewhere and LEFT on the ground, because all those tiles are gonna crack if you'll be doing actual driving. You can't stand in the bedroom. You can't stand in the office. The couch can't fit 2 people. There's very little storage. Its impractical and overpriced but its cool and it makes money as content.
Congratulations on the engagement…. The job y’all did was awesome I know yall will make great teachers of the work yall done I would definitely be a student hehe great work
Looks absolutely sick and best ending ever to a video. My two concerns (1) obviously the weight added in terms of safety. Like that thing weighs at least 5x its designed weight and how the bus frame can hold, (2) is that you installed four large batteries right below where you sleep. Hopefully nothing ever goes wrong, but it’s literally like sleeping around gas cans. If something goes wrong and battery fire starts. It burn hot and fast quick.
Omg I was thinking the same thing with the batteries and also was surprised they didn't use solar (I was like "well where is the solar panel gonna go?" and they never put one) .... I'm already scared of using a powerbank in bed for my phone, and they are p much sleeping (mattress and blankets and all) on massive fire hazards like it's nothing.
the weight shouldn't be an issue. school buses can handle a lot more weight than you think. i'd give it a solid 20k lbs in cargo weight. the batteries, yes, don't know why he put them under his bed, should've been on the other side near nothing else very valuable.
Yeah, I thought about that for a moment but then I realized that school buses are designed to have 50 to 60 kids. That's easily 6,000 or more pounds. Plus the weight of the chairs that they removed. I'm guessing that it's semi similar. Also they removed a lot more glass. I think they're probably okay but I was very curious on the weight before and after.
I thought this video was absolutely amazing. Definitely intriguing, inspiring and entertaining, as watching it felt so perfectly planned. You did such a beautiful job not only planning it, but actually doing it. Proposing at the end really shows the effort you put into your relationship with your wife, and how much you value her. Beautiful designs, decorations, and choices for the interior, this video definitely gained you multiple subscribers, including me. Loved it so much! very much congratulations to the both of you. Not forgetting your brother and father of course!
This would be nice parked somewhere for a permanently placed tiny home, but not sure about driving it around with all the added weight. And, tile on the stairs says slip and fall hazard to me with big red letters. All of the batteries could pose a fire hazard … sorry, but yes. And, the passenger seating in the cab … don’t get me started … LOL. I hope you never get stopped. Again, you have created a great little space to park and live in , but not drive around. Other than the safety concerns, you guys did a great job. It looks beautiful.
The weight is just fine, a bus of this size, being a full-size school bus, can take a maximum vehicle weight of 36000 pounds, and this thing is almost certainly under 16 tons. That rating is what the bus is rated to suffer over its lifespan routinely without issue, and even go over that if its ever needed. The batteries are also LiFePO4, which only emits at worst a candle flame when impaled by a long nail, its nowhere near as dangerous as Tesla's NMC battery packs which explode with white flames within two seconds of puncturing and heat up past 650 Celsius in the process, but even so yeah some heat shielding and fireproofing around the batteries themselves would be a very good improvement. But otherwise, its all very good and the only real improvement beyond the shielding that needs to be put around the batteries (and the cabin passenger seat since I imagine this lovey-dovey couple wants to be beside each other on any long drives) is refitting the shock absorbers to be softer and adding solar panels that can be rotated out to clear the roof deck space.
@@theoxygencombustion7006 Oh for sure, you legally must have one in a house, for a motorhome with a proper fridge and stove and everything its basically a house in all the ways that matter so it definitely needs one even if it legally might not need one. I think combination smoke/CO alarms are available, I have one in my house with a 10 year rated battery built into it.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. This thing is cool, but it also breaks all sorts of road worthiness laws. A big one is the glass, which must be automotive grade tempered glass in RVs. It looks like they just used standard plate glass residential windows, which is a major hazard.
The mere fact that these kids built something and had such support from family to get it done, is amazing and a blessing to them & their posterity. Sorry to burst your bubble, but this is how you should not convert a school bus. Buses are earthquake on wheels, so they shouldn't have put drywall in it, which cracks early. That is just one of many things incorrectly done on this build. They built it like a house, and you should build a skoolie more like a boat.
He didn't even get a beach side spot. Just the middle of the campsite XD. And she sat on a bench to get there. Novel but... all that for that? The thing will be broken very soon. It's a big waste of materials and effort, really.
It's going to rattle and shake, the windows will lose their seals before next summer... and it'll probably come in at 3 gallons a mile for the weight... but it's a gorgeous build for sure!
@@Faesharlynliterally the first thing that came to my mind too. The drywall will crack, the bathroom tiles will crack. Cool idea but it’s not very efficient. As soon as the bus hits a bumpy section, it won’t take much to start cracking all these products that aren’t meant to in this environment.

Very nice job. I was a truck and bus mechanic for 45 years, and I was very impressed with your creativity and work. If you don't mind me asking a few questions. 1. What was your GVWR when completed? 2. With the flex of the vehicle, are you concerned with your tile cracking? Did you do anything special to prevent it? 3. Like cabinets and drawers, did you install special catches to prevent them from opening when driving? 4. Were the items you used like electrical, etc. meet FMVSS? 5. While I liked your roof raise, I think I would have put some structure bracing so your panels did not have some of the ripples, but that was just me. I give you 95% on overall job young man. I would be interested in knowing after you have driven it for a while if you have had any structural flexing that has caused you any issues? I worked building Ambulances years ago and when we cut the tops out of the Ford van to put the fiberglass raised roof we had to do some actual supporting to compensate for flexing and when we relocated the seat belt mounts when we put the header wall in we had to do so special testing to mount seat belts. Of 😢 were considered a manufacturer and in order to get Ford to sign off we had to meet certain criteria. We were using Ford chassis that were designed by Ford to be converted into ambulances. One last thing I'll share with you. We ran Leece Naville alternators. 200 Amp systems, and we would take the diodes out of the case and use Delco diode rectifiers out of 100 Amp altinaters, wired in parallel and remotely, mounted them in the grill for cooling. This would give us great cooling and a bullet-proof charging system even at idle. That is only an option should you have a problem keeping those batteries charged up for your electrical system. I would be glad to give you more in-depth info if you DM provided you need it. Overall, I think you did a great job, young man, and what an awesome project for you and your dad and friends to do. All the best wishes to you, and congratulations on the engagement. May you have many years together. Have a blessed day.
@droogiesouls8635 I am more concerned about an accident and what may happen. Having been involved in the manufacture of ambulances, trailers, and other things, one of the most discussed with engineers and corporate litagaters was liability. So of the testing we had to go thru was extensive. Not to be a Debbie downer. I am concerned about some things. I wonder if the company who insured it had any concerns. Wiring, burn rates, crinkle points, etc. However, the creativity was great, and the overall quality of work was nice, and the commentary between friends and family was priceless.
@humble_frog 10-4 I would not have a problem living in it, just driving around in it.🤣 I kind of understand your point, but all of this video stuff is beyond my understanding I just and old guy. Your generation has carved out a notch, and your creativity is awesome. I wish I understood more about it, but for me, it's a lot of fun watching young individuals like yourself expressing ideas and ingenuity. I am by no means being critical. My expertise revolved around safety, liability and trying to identify anything that might be hazardous. Thank you for the feed back, keep up your creativity. Sincerely
@@johndavis318 These are all very valid concerns John. If you look when the leave the house the added panels have all distorted from their original install and any coach master would physically cringe watching the making of and point out the 1000 errors made in building it. All of the money used to build it would have been better suited to be spent at a coach builders built to regulatory spec with the proper procedure and materials 100p. I don't know if you plan on driving this but the shows you just how much thought and planning has to go into RVs and other mobile homes because of the weight. The amount of wood you've added to this Frame is an unbelievable amount of weight

This build is awesome and I’ve done my own which was a ton of fun and a massive learning experience, if you’re in the comments of this video for advice on your build read this, If you’re doing a roof raise make sure to cut the original main supports at different heights to add a little more structure when you weld it together Never run the stock windows always get double pane windows When you run the wooden framing on the inside run it horizontally not vertically, this helps with better insulation and wiring I don’t recommend drywall, it seemed to work alright for this guy but over time with the vibrations from driving it can crack (I used plywood) Don’t spray foam in your water lines any future work will be impossible (although I do recommend spray foaming in your wires because the electrical boxes will be exposed) The front of the bus has awful insulation if you can section it off do it Black water is really difficult to work with and if you’re thinking about it consider a composting toilet Water is a massive issue (including sweat in a mattress make sure the bottom of your bed has good circulation) Look into insuring and registering first I had so much stress trying to get insurance. This is going to be a dumb recommendation but if you’re looking for a practical full time living situation I don’t recommend a school bus, people don’t like you camping in their parking lots and I found out really fast a turquoise school bus stands out a ton, if you’re a good mechanic buy and old box truck, if you have a big budget buy a new box truck if you don’t mind cramped spaces buy a van (as much as that hurts me to say) Run lithium batteries they’re just better (24v or 48v systems are the best bang for your buck) If you don’t like film making don’t do a vlog of your build it’s a ton of extra work and you won’t end up posting it anyway (trust me I’ve been there) This build was really good and there’s a ton of things this guy did good but just like everything you’ll always make mistakes the first time, a lot of the things I outlined were mistakes I have on my build, if you are doing a build and want to know more, reply to this comment (I’ll probably see it)
Wow! That bus must weigh a ton. All that wood and stone and full size appliances, not even considering the weight of the water. Congrats on proposing. 😁💎
In addition to the added total weight, I’m worried about weight distribution. It looks like they mounted almost all the heavy stuff (bathroom, w/d/r appliances, cabinets fresh/grey tanks, all on the driver’s side. Seems like a tip hazard
During challenging times, we find ourselves returning to these videos, feeling an even deeper appreciation for our loved ones. They capture the essence of life-free from politics or worries-highlighting the pure joy of simply existing and loving one another. Thank you for sharing your happiness with us!
Just like many others who commented, I'm happy for you. However, there were many red flags with this build; mainly the weight capacity, the choice of materials keeping in mind that the chassis will contort/flex, and the option to use battery banks, rather than solar & battery bank combo. Good luck, out there! 🥰🙏
My thoughts exactly. 800ah is quite a bit, but only relying on DC to DC charging with the amount of things he has in it, he'll find out real quick it isn't enough. He has a ton of real estate for solar panels, and should've added a port for shore power.
@@jnsthyl raising the height of the bus isn’t an issue. THAT much, maybe but he did drive it to the beach and didn’t have any issues according to the video. and people add weight to these buses every time a conversion is done.
Load it up fully people , stuff , including the tanks , take it over the scales and note your gross weight , check to ensure your tire ratings are sufficient, then perform a brake test . You owe this to the other people that will be on the road with you , JMHO
One big question is how much cargo capacity does this have after loading it up with all those heavy elements? Perhaps my desires are unique, but more toys = more fun!
Exactly what I was thinking (weight issues) and how about all that tile (walls and floors) cracking to pieces after a few thousand miles of flexing. Would love to see an update in a year or so if they use it often.

Using wood to hold in your water tanks seems like an absolutely horrible idea… all the weight of the water plus the eventual deterioration of the wood due to being exposed to the elements (even though it’s treated it will deteriorate) will result in catastrophic failure.

This was a beautiful video. From the father son and friend working on this bus. To create and finish a beautiful project. Last but not least, the proposal at the end congratulations to you both.
You obviously put your heart and soul into this build. But while I’m no expert, I’m terrified for you and your beautiful girl. Lots of things about it are extremely concerning. The tremendous weight, the rigid tiles, the potential cracking drywall, the massive added weight from the water tanks held up by wooden beams, the very serious electrical hazard right underneath your bed, and your fiancées seatbelt won’t hold in crash. Then the issues of braking make this house on wheels a death trap for you or someone else. Who’s going to insure it? If it goes up in flames is it going to be a total financial loss? If someone else is hurt you could be in debt for years and/or face criminal charges. Even as a tiny home I don’t think you’ll be able to get insurance. That’s what has happened to a lot of the tiny homes that people built themselves. They can’t live in them because of local building codes. I totally wish you the best but I’m honestly scared for you. I apologize to anyone that I have offended with what I’m saying.
My husband bought a shed/cabin shell for me, and completely finished out the entire interior. Kitchen, bathroom, 2 lofts with beds, and daybed on ground floor. The interior walls/ceiling are all wood, and smells as good as it looks! I can’t tell you how much all his work meant to me. It’s one of the nicest gifts he’s ever given me! I’m sure your gf/fiance will feel the same. 💕
I love the enthusiasm but plz remember you aren’t building a house or even a stationary structure. There are multiple reasons you don’t see Sheetrock or solid core wire in RVs or boats. The biggest being the constant movement of everything. Stranded wire with crimp connections is for safety. The tile may stand a chance with the kerdi backer but I see lots of cracked Sheetrock in your future. Your center of gravity would be a major concern as well. Good luck though, sorry for the negative remarks
I was thinking of the flexibility of household windows and doors. I’ve remodeled old RVs and you also have to be careful about how everything inside is balanced
@alparker2616 Yeah, balance with the fridge and washer/dryer on one side and nothing opposite them. Also with that 200 gallon blackwater tank running in line and not transverse, I think, with the fresh water tank and grey water tank on the opposite side, fresh will start out full. So the weight of 100 gallons of water all on one side, with nothing opposite. I hope that's not the same side with the appliances. Otherwise I'm surprised this thing didn't just tip over! Besides the issues pointed out in this thread though, at least it looks really nice and was built with care.

A supportive father and a brother and a girlfriend. Such a wonderful family
i admire how your parents raised you and your brothers so hardworking and loving enough to buuld a whole house on wheels
And making sure there's a house before proposing to his gf , their parents raised real men
I'm genuinely curious about two things: The added weight of the drywall and tile in comparison to other materials more commonly used in RV builds - usually people avoid these due to the weight cost - and the durability of these materials after putting some miles on the vehicle.
I totally agree ! 👍
Absolutely! Been living in lorry's for 15 years+ there is a lot of flex and movement, also after a couple of showers and washing up that small water tank will need filling, especially if like they said there both going to be showering every day !

This is an AWESOME tiny home but seriously there is no way you really will be driving it around! It has to be sooooo heavy!!
Getting like 1-3 mpg 🤯🫣
Was thinking the same. So much of what they use is for houses not motor vehicles. Can’t imagine what this thing weighs
I'd be curious to know the weight it started at versus the finished weight. Pretty awesome build though!!
My first question is whether the suspension can handle that
It probably weighs 30 tons
The tires trying to handle the weight might be a problem too
Looks absolutely sick and best ending ever to a video.
He needs to encapsulate battery compartment and vent it outside.
the weight shouldn't be an issue. school buses can handle a lot more weight than you think. i'd give it a solid 20k lbs in cargo weight. the batteries, yes, don't know why he put them under his bed, should've been on the other side near nothing else very valuable.
I thought the exact same thing. Plus, to be sleeping on top of all of the EMF can't be good for their bodies.
Not forgetting your brother and father of course!
the weight of this bus is gigantic
Carbon monoxide / smoke alarm would also be nice to add.
@@Avetho I'm thinking you're just a bit light on the weight guess.....

Sorry to burst your bubble, but this is how you should not convert a school bus. Buses are earthquake on wheels, so they shouldn't have put drywall in it, which cracks early.
I was thinking the flex will completely shatter the structure
@droogiesouls8635 I am more concerned about an accident and what may happen. Having been involved in the manufacture of ambulances, trailers, and other things, one of the most discussed with engineers and corporate litagaters was liability. So of the testing we had to go thru was extensive. Not to be a Debbie downer. I am concerned about some things. I wonder if the company who insured it had any concerns. Wiring, burn rates, crinkle points, etc.
However, the creativity was great, and the overall quality of work was nice, and the commentary between friends and family was priceless.
hey john, this bus build was done mostly for video purposes - they aren't actually going to live in this full time by any means. hope this helps
Exactly what I was thinking.
Never felt so insecure in my life… these 3 guys are all expert level plumbers, electricians, carpenters, masons, mechanics, architects, wood workers, fabricators, roofers, welders and riggers. I’m honestly speechless, people usually become 1 maybe 2 of these and hone that craft for their entire life.
Honestly, this stuff isn't that hard if you're willing to spend a couple days researching what you need to do prior to a job, and not taking a crack at it till you're fully confident. If you're not good at self learning, there's always night classes and stuff being ran practically everywhere. 75% of the difficulty is understanding how to do things safely and in a way that will last a long time
@@trotskiftw Yeah, agreed. I’d add that you may not get the knowledge to tackle every job but you can deffo get the basics and the knowledge needed to tackle the specific job you want to do. Thank good for RUclips, honestly. You can find a tutorial for pretty much anything!
@@hunyesmith03 Guys, it's all DAD. Take a closer look at the the dad, he's a very accomplished builder and he's the person behind his boys accomplishments.

You can do it all it's cool but once you start trying this stuff fits easy. Even welding
At 21:39 he said he doesn’t know how to build a couch after just turning a school bus into a mobile home😂
you can be a plane engineer and still have not enough knowledge to build a car
@@customizablemilk353 that’s true but building an plane and a car are both complex.. we’re talking about a mobile house vs a couch.. he obviously has the knowledge just never done it before.
Grow tf up
@@magik2208 building a plane is at least 1000x more complex than building a car
@@customizablemilk353yea no shit💀
This build is awesome and I’ve done my own which was a ton of fun and a massive learning experience, if you’re in the comments of this video for advice on your build read this,
If you’re doing a roof raise make sure to cut the original main supports at different heights to add a little more structure when you weld it together
Never run the stock windows always get double pane windows
When you run the wooden framing on the inside run it horizontally not vertically, this helps with better insulation and wiring
I don’t recommend drywall, it seemed to work alright for this guy but over time with the vibrations from driving it can crack (I used plywood)
Don’t spray foam in your water lines any future work will be impossible (although I do recommend spray foaming in your wires because the electrical boxes will be exposed)
The front of the bus has awful insulation if you can section it off do it
Black water is really difficult to work with and if you’re thinking about it consider a composting toilet
Water is a massive issue (including sweat in a mattress make sure the bottom of your bed has good circulation)
Look into insuring and registering first I had so much stress trying to get insurance.
This is going to be a dumb recommendation but if you’re looking for a practical full time living situation I don’t recommend a school bus, people don’t like you camping in their parking lots and I found out really fast a turquoise school bus stands out a ton, if you’re a good mechanic buy and old box truck, if you have a big budget buy a new box truck if you don’t mind cramped spaces buy a van (as much as that hurts me to say)
Run lithium batteries they’re just better (24v or 48v systems are the best bang for your buck)
If you don’t like film making don’t do a vlog of your build it’s a ton of extra work and you won’t end up posting it anyway (trust me I’ve been there)
This build was really good and there’s a ton of things this guy did good but just like everything you’ll always make mistakes the first time, a lot of the things I outlined were mistakes I have on my build, if you are doing a build and want to know more, reply to this comment (I’ll probably see it)
Wow! That bus must weigh a ton. All that wood and stone and full size appliances, not even considering the weight of the water.
Congrats on proposing. 😁💎
I think it weighs a bit more than just one ton lol
No new suspension?
I was thinking the same.
In addition to the added total weight, I’m worried about weight distribution. It looks like they mounted almost all the heavy stuff (bathroom, w/d/r appliances, cabinets fresh/grey tanks, all on the driver’s side. Seems like a tip hazard
No shot that the bus weighs a ton
The whole bus is a disaster! This has got to be one of the most expensive mistakes I've ever seen!
And where is his future wife with helping out?

@@jnsthyl raising the height of the bus isn’t an issue. THAT much, maybe but he did drive it to the beach and didn’t have any issues according to the video. and people add weight to these buses every time a conversion is done.
Too heavy. Didn't need so much extra weight ..could have gone way lighter and how do you get all the electricity to run everything all the time
I'm so proud of y'all man you bout to get married congratulations🎉🎉❤❤😊😊
Load it up fully people , stuff , including the tanks , take it over the scales and note your gross weight , check to ensure your tire ratings are sufficient, then perform a brake test . You owe this to the other people that will be on the road with you , JMHO
One big question is how much cargo capacity does this have after loading it up with all those heavy elements? Perhaps my desires are unique, but more toys = more fun!
Exactly what I was thinking (weight issues) and how about all that tile (walls and floors) cracking to pieces after a few thousand miles of flexing. Would love to see an update in a year or so if they use it often.
Bro just casually builds a dream house out of a school bus and documents the project so well it was incredible to watch. Then suprises us with the proposal to one of the best songs ever made basically dropping a dream proposal music video. 🤯🤯😮💨😮💨

okay the bus is extremely cool and all (like how tf u managed that is beyond me), but boy do i love a love story, that proposal was wonderful congratulations chay, im so happy for you
Using wood to hold in your water tanks seems like an absolutely horrible idea… all the weight of the water plus the eventual deterioration of the wood due to being exposed to the elements (even though it’s treated it will deteriorate) will result in catastrophic failure.

Hey this may seem very random, but as I scrolled through the comments I felt directed to pray for you. I felt in my heart that you were incredibly mathematically gifted and good with design, and what you may have seen by people that represent Jesus have not really represented him correctly. Search and you will find, he welcomes questions and investigation. He loves you and investigation.
Be blessed
I want to see it drive at actual highway speeds, take a curve and experience cross winds. It’s BEAUTIFUL! That much weight up top would be scary.
Needs outriggers maybe wider axels
This "bus" will kill someone someday if it's regularly brought to highway speeds.
Park another one next to it for your
" guests" and some storage.
We did that before. 😅
Good story. Thanks and great family you got.
@@GreganDunn Agreed. It's probably only safe in parking lots.
@@clay282 exactly what I said. I would have used aluminium for the frame and lighter siding with a layer of something like that speaker carpet for extra insulation. And I would have staggered the fridge and laundry room to be on different sides for more even weight distribution.

@@smerk429the metal sheets aren’t straight they’re dented. Probably not the best choice
@@avarose833 , they could pop those dents out if they wanted to do that to the bus. You can even buy a thing that is called Pops-A-Dent that literally is designed to do that on dented metal.
@@avarose833 yeah, but the metal sheets aren't holding anything up; they're only providing shear support, like the thin board nailed to the back of a bookcase. They can have ripples and everything's fine.
Awesome job man! I’d recommend looking into what’s called a buddy seat. It’s used in large farm equipment worldwide for a passenger to sit comfortably and it still folds away.
Now make a Bus with 3 floors and a basement
Edit: Add a pool, basketball court, make a taco shop attached to it and a make a private jet carrier for fun
Edit 2: make a run way for a plane on top make sure to make the bus stable enough to hold a 200 ton plane and 1000 people inside the plane make the bus light too, attach a highway for a city and a white house up there while your at it
Lol
And a pool and tennis court.
Then he will need a double decker bus to do that 💀
Uh yeah that’s not possible
It's a bus bruv not a plane 💀

Weight distribution, steering geometry, Transmission/rear end gearing.
@@LestonDryea bro that’s fine if you’re an car engineer but not a dumb RUclipsr just to get clicks
Can you imagine? The added weight alone has got to be way up there! The sheetrock and all that tile and marble they laid! Wow!
It's literally a Deathtrap and he sealed the deal with his wife's makeshift "seat" LMFAO she's going flying when this thing blows a tire and tips over
My husband bought a shed/cabin shell for me, and completely finished out the entire interior.
I was wondering about the drywall. That stuff cracks if there is the slightest flex in a house.
There are so many things that will make this unusable almost instantly
@@dgpsf I’m also curious how close it is to the 13’ 6” DOT height.
