@matthewshepherd5390 if he's part of reforestation efforts, he could easily have been part of a group using tree planting equipment that plants a bunch of trees per minute.
Funfact: Mass planting thousands of trees creates harmful monocultures that are less complex than natural forest ecosystems. Monocultures do not properly support wildlife, they limit biodiversity and they are more susceptible to wildfires and disease. Not to mention trees mass planted closely together will compete for sunlight and nutrients, which makes them even more susceptible to disease and drought. Tree restoration efforts can be done right, but mass planting like this is bad.

Amazing job on the car, l am 99% sure this is one of my best friends cars. I recognize the car and that very distinct brach on the dash. He is an amazing tree planter and very kind hard working loving person.
This isn't a "helping in a small way". This is lifechanging for someone. You've got one amazing soul in you and this world would be a whole lot better if there were more like you in it. Well done good sir!
There’s that big heart of yours Mitch, cleaning this car for free to help someone get ahead in life. I live in Alberta, have been to Jasper many times and I’m amazed he was on some of those roads. I’m thankful to him for planting the trees and thankful to you for sharing this video. You made my Friday!
Agree completely. As someone who always keeps their car pretty clean, I hate when I see comments on these videos saying "the way someone keeps their car says a lot about them" or "imagine what their house looks like", as if they're immediately a bad or gross person for having a dirty car. You never know what someone is going through, you don't even KNOW them.
@@mariamaria2751 I understand. I’m not homeless and will never be as long as my children are alive but knowing how much harder it has become to make ends meet. Both my husband and I are retired so living on a fixed income in an economy has increased as much as 50% in some areas like groceries and utilities. My prayers are with you.
Life is getting harder for a lot of people. It's easy to judge. Helping is harder. I understand owners who don't want to be filmed because sadly nowadays that can have bad repercussions in unexpected ways...😞 Thanks for uploading.
As someone who suffers from depression and takes medicine for it. Cleaning my car or my house really helps get my mind right. Great job Mitch! I'm sure they really appreciated the detail 😊
I know how tempting it would have been to dispose of the “obvious” trash. It shows a great deal of respect for your customer when you adhere to their wishes, down to the very last gum wrapper. What amazing compassion you have.
Agreed!! And that the brother in law wanted that respected. i would have maybe just separated everything that was clothes and shoes. The owner could then have it all easily cleaned/washed them.
And to anyone wondering why one would need “obvious trash” sometimes a box something came in or something like that is useful. And then of course there’s sentimental value to some stuff.

I'm still watching the video. However, I just wanna pause and say, that story really touched me. We all struggle at some point. Be it financially, mentally, physically. However, the kindness and compassion of others really goes a long way. I certainly wouldn't be here if it weren't for that. So this was a wonderful thing you did. Best of luck to the owner of this vehicle in the future too. Oh and thank you for helping the earth 🌎 ❤

That Goo Gone really works! My son one day decided to prop his bicycle tire rim against the side of the house and spray paint it 🤦🏻♀️ a nice big black circle on tan paint. A gentleman at the hardware store suggested Goo Gone and it took it right off. We had literally had it painted about two weeks before. GG saved the day! Lol

It is exhausting work. 4 giant bags of interior contents was a lot. You did a great job on the interior, both the seats and the carpet. The steamer is really your buddy and works so well. I really like the product badge in the left bottom corner that tells us what product is being used at the time. VERY SMART. The reaction of the BIL at the end was so sweet. They know the owner has difficulties but are sure supportive of him and that shows love. Your cleanup of this car for FREE, really shows your character and kindness. Hoarders have to go through a process of counseling and training their brain to learn how to throw stuff away that they do not need to keep. If it is untreated, it will quickly go back to what it looked like at the beginning of the video. This requires professional help. Other videos, people just don’t care about how their vehicle is. Coming from someone who suffers like this, people need to understand most people in this type of situation don’t want to live like that, they know and are ashamed of themselves and the filth, but after so long you just get so overwhelmed and over run by the things that you just let it get out of hand. Yeah we could’ve cleaned it up before it got terrible, but sometimes you just don’t have the motivation and it’s not laziness it’s depression. Being so mentally and physically exhausted you lose control of everything and for them to allow someone to help them is such a brave thing to do and him not judging that makes it ever so better. All I’m getting at here though is don’t judge people on first basis stuff like this. Yes, I understand some people are just truly lazy, but there is a difference between lazy and mentally exhausted. Try and offer support to those who are struggling, don’t judge them, commend them on trying to get better on asking for help. And by no means am I saying this situation is directly what I am explaining, as I am not in their shoes and cannot fully grasp what’s happened!
When I saw that picture a few days ago, I knew this video was going to be legendary. The Infiniti has turned out great. You are such a kind and wholesome person for doing that for that man! Have a nice weekend!
You’re doing a great job! A clean car gives you a clean mind, and you’re definitely helping to promote that, regardless of whether that car will stay that way or not after you’ve finished. Thank you 👊🏼💪🏼
Hearing where the owner was and why he was there explains the dirt in and on the car. As for some of the objects, I have a rock collection and also had a few interesting looking sticks for a while. I recently added a feather from one of the crows at work. I feed them and they know me and my truck.
I work for my local food pantry we give boxes of food clothing bath products baby food etc it is a great feeling to help those in need and there reaction is priceless
I kept showing my husband u using your high pressure steam cleaner & he bought me one!! It’s amazing on so many things around the house!!! Great job & so kind on this project!
FYI: Fellow YTer, The Clean Club, a drycleaner uses OxiClean (whitening) to get out old stains. I tried on my white wash cloths, Yes! It needs TIME to work. Perhaps you could steam stubborn stains, put a paste of Oxi over & let sit while you clean other areas. This may up your detail game. 😉 Also, if you find ballpoint ink won't come out, douse with hairspray, rub out & clean.
@@beautifulvictory9683 I showed my handyman the hairspray secret and now he carries a can around with him. He had marked a tile install and couldn't get the marks off, had to pay out of pocket to reinstall, but saved the marked tiles. Used it on the marked tiles and voilà, good as new! He was both happy and sad. Lol
What you did is not “small” in any way! It’s MASSIVE. You have a genuine heart and are a shining soul. The BIL and sister are phenomenal and showed just how much they love this man, unconditionally. Going into any situation that is horrific causes so much suffering and absolute chaos to the brain. This man went away from home, lived in his car to help others. What a remarkable man. I’m not easily moved but acts of pure kindness always makes my eyes sweat a bit. Bless all of you, you make the world a better place everyday. 💚🙏🍀

Awesome job! Love the variance in music and the reaction at the end. Love it when you are able to get them. I know I never judge the mess maker. I just want them to be able to exist in a clean space again and it’s nice to see you help make that happen. Also, I was watching you before this, but Midwest Magic Cleaning gave you a shoutout last week!
My husband work vehicle gets coated in bugs daily. We didn't have a pressure washer to get most of the bugs off or any proper bug spray so when we washed it, the paint was coming off with the bugs. I told him that I'd have to get some bug remover for next time or he needs to take his work vehicle to a car wash weekly
He's going to feel like he has a new car. So amazing to see the care and dedication you put to your work and especially in this situation. The extra touches on the headlights and with the Goo Gone were very thoughtful too. You're a good man. Kudos to the family for supporting their loved one and thanks to the tree planter for being there for the environment in tough climate times. Great shots of your work explanations of what you're doing and details of how you're doing it. Love the video, as always.
20:33 Have you tried "Pink Solution" When I worked for the original owners / creators back in the 90's I used it to clean a lot of things, and I dont remember anything it could not remove, blood, red wine, and red Kool-Aid were no match for it, as well as engine grease, brake dust, etc. etc. it has since moved & under new owners, and I haven't used the "new". But its worth a shot..
The sheer amount of stuff you kept pulling out of all the storage spaces was absolutely unbelievable. You are a true professional and a good-hearted man.
Ammonia and steam usually works well for me, I have to deal with stains in carpets in my housekeeping business. Saturate with ammonia let it set a couple of minutes agitation, then steam then extract.
I've been waiting for this since I saw the preview photo!! Going to grab my coffee and watch the transformation. Happy Friday DG Nation! Hope everyone is well and has the best weekend. 😃

20:12 Oxi Clean. Get some of that for red stains. A little back story now. Had some friends over, they got really drunk, one was so trashed she was spilling beer all over my brand new couch. I tried to stop her by just taking her beer bottle away and she hit me in the nose with it. I started bleeding all over the carpet, really badly. I got light headed. Next day I tried getting the blood stains out. I tried everything. Tide, bleach, 409, glass cleaner, all purpose cleaner, degreaser. I tried something new or mixed stuff over a period of a month. I had given up. Then I saw a commercial for Oxi Clean. Went to the store and got some. It was a powder you mixed with really hot water. The blood stains started coming out immediately. All of it came out and you couldn't tell I had ever had an accident. That was 24 years ago. Hopefully they still make it. I haven't bled all over my carpet since that night.
I asked my mechanic if they could restore my headlights which were all yellow and fogged-up and he said you can do it yourself, I asked how, he said go and buy some Brasso (it's a liquid metal polish here in Australia), apply it, rub it in, let it dry and buff it off and they'll be good as new. He was right. Works really well. 👍
If the owner of this vehicle has a hoarding issue- throwing out their stuff is traumatic and adds to their anxiety. Which is why helping such people is tricky. It means addressing the root of such troubles and is a choice each person has to make for themselves.
Greek? No perhaps some Italian. 😂 Claims he's Scottish, looks Asian, but also Ukraine & Romania.. I think I should just label him a Heinz57.😂 I think u meant 2 say Detail Geek.❤😊
In the UK we have a laundry stain remover called Vanish Oxi Action that comes in a very bright pink tub. Vanish + lemon juice + time can remove nearly anything. The ONLY thing it ever failed me on was black hair dye on cream carpet (in fairness, it took me a few hours to notice that stain...).
Hi Shannon, the homeless had struggled to live in the car. It made me heartbroken. Mitch is a tough and excellent job. Have a wonderful weekend, my friend. Take care😊

What an awesome transformation! Since being disabled in 2006, I can't do what needs to be done, to keep my car looking the way I've always maintained my cars. I wish I could afford to have it properly cleaned and detailed. Not that I let my car get this bad, LOL! It's an awesome thing you do for these people!
I gotta say, even when I myself was down on my luck and ended up living in my vehicle, I never let it get to this state. It seems like every day I found myself clearing out all the trash, vacuuming, reorganizing my personal items and wiping down all the surfaces. I don’t mean to compare my experience to that of someone else’s, but in my opinion you should always make time to tidy up your surroundings, even it isn’t much. Just because you’re in a rough situation, doesn’t mean you have to live like this
He clearly has some sort of hoarding disorder. Even if you didn’t mean to you are comparing your experience to someone else’s and that shames him and others like him who are already suffering and don’t need to feel worse about themselves. I am glad you were able to clean but many aren’t and we shouldn’t judge unless we have been in their exact situation and even then it is not helpful or productive and only serves to harm the person struggling.
You are right and you were respectable even living in your car. I imagine it helped to also not draw attention to yourself. I can tell the people who have never dealt with a hoarder commenting here. The owner of the car will have it looking like trash again, unlike you who were clean and neat despite your circumstance. I think it was also a step forward. You are to be admired, well done!
Boar hair is incredibly versatile. My fathers family raised two pigs each year for food for a couple of decades after WWII. They used every part for sausage, liverwurst and more. Nothing, and I mean nothing was wasted. A man would visit each year and collect the hair, he made exquisite pig hair brushes of all shapes and sizes. 'The only thing you can't use on a pig is its oink' as the saying goes.
Not only was it their home, the guy was out participating in a reforestation effort. I'm glad they put everything aside to focus on it, we wouldn't have this vid if they didn't too.

You did an incredible job. It's wonderful to see folks helping out their family who are going through difficulties, mental or otherwise.
Thank you for doing this for free. You are so kind. God bless you and the owner of the car.
What a massive transformation, you made on this vehicle. The Infiniti looks great! Have a blessed weekend.
Nice job! My German DNA loves watching these videos. Mein Mutti would have loved these!
You may never realize what a huge difference you made for this person. Great video!
Once again, Mitch makes the impossible possible. Amazing job, and such a generous thing to do.
Great transformation amazing job you must have really had your work cut out for you nice job my friend
I work for my local food pantry we give boxes of food clothing bath products baby food etc it is a great feeling to help those in need and there reaction is priceless
31:40 thats Hotel California!. U actually nailed it.
Yup, hair spray for the win. I just posted the same thing.
@@eirtae1, IKR? 😉 IYKYK!
Lol
@@eirtae1, 😳🤩
You have a big heart for sure, and him replanting trees is so amazing, helping Mother Nature ❤
Thank you to the owner of the car for his help with the jasper fires. Im from calgary alberta and the smoke and fires have been brutal, big thanks to this guy for your part in helping our province recover
Great job Mitch! You are so awesome to help others out this much. Love your work
I appreciate that!
Hey Mitch,
That was a wonderful gift you gave. The car was a great transformation!!!🥰
As Always Amazing!!!❤
Thank you for the kind words! This was a special detail for sure!
Not only was this an amazing video Mitch what a transformation it was Pro bono! You're the GOAT man! My hat is tipped!
It always amazes me how you make the interior look almost new again.
Doing it for free to help a fellow citizen, this is the Canadian way. Good on you.
Thanks Mitch always so rewarding to give something to someone less fortunate
il y avait un sacré travail, mais le résultat est impressionnant, continuer MITCH !!💯💯✌✌
Great to see some people out there are willing to go the extra mile to help others, well done you...👌👍👍👍❤❤
Youre really good at this, you should consider becoming a detailer
I can't wait to see the final results 🙌 ❤️
You did a wonderful job and it was so nice to hear you helped this owner. God bless you.
Ammonia and steam usually works well for me, I have to deal with stains in carpets in my housekeeping business. Saturate with ammonia let it set a couple of minutes agitation, then steam then extract.
It was very nice of you helping a person that has a mental illness, specially hoarding disorder 👏🏽💚
I've been waiting for this since I saw the preview photo!! Going to grab my coffee and watch the transformation. Happy Friday DG Nation! Hope everyone is well and has the best weekend. 😃
Jennifer, nice to see you. What stamina, Mitch works so rough working and cleaning for the homeless. He is so sweet and kind in his heart and he helps him free. Have a beautiful weekend, my friend. Take care. 😊❤
Have a great weekend Jennifer, it was an awesome video!!! 😎
@@cynthiahopkins7090 You are so right, Mitch is full of kindness for his fellow man!!
@@joelbuchanan471 Hi Joel!! It sure was an awesome video my friend!!
Good on you Mitch!! And on his family. I’m happy the owner has a good support system.
Hello there! Have a great Weekend!🙌🏼🙌🏼
So very kind of you doing this car for free. And what a transformation yet again. You left it spotless. Great job and god bless you xx
Thank you!
It's not a small thing you're doing. You're a good and loving man. God bless you.
The Detail Greek!!!!!!!
Greek? No perhaps some Italian.
😂
Claims he's Scottish, looks Asian, but also Ukraine & Romania..
I think I should just label him a Heinz57.😂
I think u meant 2 say Detail Geek.❤😊
In the UK we have a laundry stain remover called Vanish Oxi Action that comes in a very bright pink tub. Vanish + lemon juice + time can remove nearly anything. The ONLY thing it ever failed me on was black hair dye on cream carpet (in fairness, it took me a few hours to notice that stain...).
From the preview I thought he was living out of his car because he was homeless. The real reason is less sad. That is a tough job.
Hi Shannon, the homeless had struggled to live in the car. It made me heartbroken. Mitch is a tough and excellent job. Have a wonderful weekend, my friend. Take care😊
@@cynthiahopkins7090 Thanks, Cynthia! You have a great weekend, too.
That’s very heart warming. “ There are a lot of wonderful nice people in this world, if you can’t find one, be one!”
Good job my man.
*At times like these inflation can be tough for people and they end up losing their houses and living in cars due to the amount of money they have to pay but you detailing this car for this guy was a life changer for him nice job at helping him out now he can live a happy life again with a fresh car!*
Maybe this guy is different than you?? Some people dont think before they speak
@@LKing-ue2jl Yes. Different in a bad way. Do you ever hold anybody accountable for their actions?
Boar hair is incredibly versatile. My fathers family raised two pigs each year for food for a couple of decades after WWII. They used every part for sausage, liverwurst and more. Nothing, and I mean nothing was wasted. A man would visit each year and collect the hair, he made exquisite pig hair brushes of all shapes and sizes. 'The only thing you can't use on a pig is its oink' as the saying goes.
I think He meant disconnect the battery and pull the window up by hand …
Appreciation for his forestation restoration work, your pro bono, and the switch up in music. Great job, as always
If you can make this car dirty like this what about their home
The car was their home.
Guess you missed the part where this WAS his home.
@@tunerrestorations really 😳😳😳
@@RICARD01 maybe so
Not only was it their home, the guy was out participating in a reforestation effort. I'm glad they put everything aside to focus on it, we wouldn't have this vid if they didn't too.
Great job Mitch! Remember...one man's trash is another man's treasure.
What a kind thing to do. It’s a shame to see how Trudeau has destroyed Canada for so many years
FFS... if you're whole identity is to comment on Trudeau, then you need to seek help from a psychologist.
Idk how I found your channel but I'm glad I did. I'm enjoying watching the transformation
first
Mitch, you are the best! Thanks for helping out this person.
Do you get paid for doing that
It's suppose 2b a Freebie Friday.❤😊
Alberta is going through it right now, it’s heartbreaking. Thank you for giving a little…. No lots of love back to someone helping out our forests. Sitting here writing this and knowing how he must be feeling gives me the chills, because we see it here everyday how bad the smoke is. All over social media. It’s heartbreaking. What an awesome way to pay it forward. Love your videos man! Keep up the amazing work. You make me wanna start detailing so so bad 🤍
Thank you!
One small act of kindness can truly go a long way. Great work Mitch. 👏 ❤
I've been watching your channel for years, but it's been a while since I've last watched one of your detailing videos. I'm amazed on how you continue to improve your content and video quality after all these years. The smooth transitions between before and afters is such a subtle but satisfying detail (lol). Keep up the great work Mitch!
This is why I love watching your channel. You always do excellent work and you have a huge heart. Thank you for all you do!
