I love it when you make these types of informative videos. It's like you read my mind. Thanks Than.

this is amazing
I just LOVE how you present your videos. I always look forward to your informational videos. It's my go to when I research different corals I potentially want and your videos are great for someone who's an absolute beginner like myself. Thank you spending time to do this for folks.
I love your videos! They are relaxing and educational
Glad you like them!
I love the coral focused videos from you always puts a smile on my face.
Thanks for the information 👍
Nice to hear your voice again!
Great video !
Loved the video, always amazing shots. I personally think Duncan coral superseeds Frogspawn, but both are beautiful and unique none the less! Keep the videos coming! :)
Thanks for making this
Any time
Most appreciative on viewing another commentary on corals, etc. I've only received 2 videos in the last year & I'm not sure if your not releasing auctions & other commentaries or perhaps it's on my end for some reason. But, nevertheless I enjoy all your releases especially right now since my health prevents me from having my own tanks operational. Be blessed.
Good info like this video
the only videos I watch 4k, always worth the buffering :)
Nice video with some good advice :)
Awesome vid! I just picked up my first frogspawn today, I hope it ends up looking as great as yours. Btw you and my dad have the exact same name. Spelled the same also!
Son?
Nice video. Good to see you had some time away from building the ultimate coral fortress of solitude. I do tend to notice that people that arent in the hobby that see my tanks always point out the frogspawn after the clownfish and anemones of course.
Thanks. The new building and rebuilding the website from scratch put a dent in the video production activities.
I thought you had disappeared Than - another well thought out informative vlog.
Hey! I recognize that tank in the opening shot. Bought some nice corals from that guy ;)
Very nice.
Was hoping you’d touch on the BJ infections of Euphyllia and treatment. Maybe another video 👏🏼
I wish I knew how easy GSP and Xenia was to grow when I started in the hobby.
I've been building a Pico Reef for my Dad, and I'm trying to stock it with the simplest, easiest coral to grow.
Yes you are correct, they come in both wall and branching varieties
Great info mate, wondering though best placement for these guys whether they prefer rock or sandbed?
A Than video for the ages!
👌
I’m not sure if you made this video already but I had trouble finding it on your channel if it does exist. Could you do a video on galaxia care. I just got a nice frag and wanted to know your opinion on it
THANS BACK HELLLL YES
Aquavert GreenWorks than i thought his name was Stan
Joe's Reef its actually dan
Aquavert GreenWorks is it really?
His name is Sam
It's than isn't it?
Could you do one on octospawn too?
About cats eating habits it depends on the cat, my cat sometimes eats so much she throws up
i would love to watch one about hammer and torch coral as well. i have her stories about people not being able to keep torch alive
Devon Thurber I'd like to see this to I have 2 different torch one is doing okay and the other just hanging in there same light and flow so I'm stumped.
👊👍
What's that bright green coral in the bottom center at 2:00?
What do u use a kind of sand? That a really white sand?
Do they put up with nitrate in the tank about 20ppm
Can you please tell me which type of fish you have in the tank that is in this video?
my clown fish keep on messing around with min and it tucked it self in do you think I should do something about or will it be fine
E Divisia and W paradivesia are the two frogspawns with para being the branching.
Are there any corals that can be next to a frogspawn and not be harmed by its sting?
Hello, can anyone recommend a light for euphyllia on a 15g tank?
can LPS corals live in higher than 12dkh alkalinity ?
someone given me a mushroom coral which has no color on it (you can say bleached ) is it possible to bring him back to color ? I didn't found any practicable or healthy information on forums and on fB most people are trolls so I'm asking you
I bought 2 nice mushrooms and they bleached in my tank. I put them in a lower light area one of them colored up again, the other one is still alive but hasn't colored up. So i'd say put them in lower light and flow and be patient.
Libuin I have putted it on sand bed , and hoping for good
Hey Than. What could be possible causes for randomly losing heads of a frogspawn and other euphyllias that have been in the tank for months with no prior signs of stress or shifts in parameters?
Ivan Santos same thing happened to me. Out of desperation I did a coral dip then saw an infestation of flat worms fall off. The coral was already stressed and did not recover. I think I caught it too late so the dip just stressed it even further. It eventually bailed all its polyps after a month or so.
Cherrelle I’m not sure it’s flatworms or pests per se. I’ve dipped them and nothing falls off and instead of getting better, the coral becomes more aggravated.
Do you have experience with frogspawn not opening? I’ve had mine for some time now going on 2 months. I’ve moved t all over the tank to attempt different flow and lighting and never got him to open fully. Parameters are stable with slightly elevated phosphates at .25. Bummed because when I got it it was open and beautiful.
Joshua Loebenberg same with mine. I cant figure out whats wrong.
I just added mine and it fully opened in 2 hours. I have tier 5 lights.
When is the next live sale
Here because i have a 2 year old frogspawn that hasnt opened in over 2 weeks. All parameters test good. Running poly filter just incase any heavy metals are present. All the other corals are fine. The heads looks swollen and their mouths are open the polyps are very tiny.
Hi Than, I live in the area and I was wondering if you do any walk in sales?
Visits by appointment are possible.
Your new website will not e-mail the confirmation e-mail so I cannot finish creating my account, just letting you know as I think my on site report got lost too. Love the vids and thanks for sharing such species specific subjects.
Please double check your spam folder. Sometimes the automated emails get filtered out.
Yeah I have been checking the "junk" folder each time, in fact just tried to login again and it does the usual "This account is not confirmed. Click here to resend confirmation e-mail." in pink up in the upper right hand corner...I click, hit send/receive, and nada. Must be me LOL. Even checking it from the ISP site shows nothing.
I just sent a test email with my regular account. Please let me know if you get it. Thanks!
Yep straight through. Got it.
I think I have a wall frogspawn, thought it was branching but im not that interested in aquaculture but 🤷🏼♂️
getting a frogspawn for my first euphyllia coral. How are you supposed to transfer these corals if the tentacles are so delicate? ie. when dipping and transferring into tank? ive heard that they cant be removed from the water safely
I scoop them with a small container so they aren't out of the water much if at all. When they are taken out of the water sometimes the water in them is too heavy for their flesh.
@@tidalgardens awesome gonna try when I get it.
The “frog” you showed us was a newt.
Do you need to feed them
I think it is hammer corals that have wall and branching varieties
I was starting to think you got clinton'd!
There are wall variations.
Do euphyllia even have mouths?
Can I get a clown ID? looks good
Can I place s frogs spawn by my hammer coral
People have done it. They fight a little, but it's not that bad of an interaction.
Yes
Why don’t mine show their feeder tentacles ever?!
I’ve actually had great luck feeding them reef roids!!
