You prolly dont give a shit but if you are bored like me atm then you can watch all the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Have been streaming with my brother lately xD
I have to say my wife is a huge fan of Frogspawn me not so much. I am glad i found your videos. I am getting great ideas for my IM 40 set-up. Keep up the awesome work!
If I have a large enough bone cutter I would use the bone cutter; the one I have is a bit small and could not get the whole branch in one go so I went with the dremel.
Looks great after a week later back in your tank 👍 I have a colony of green hammer I got as frag of 3 heads 9 months ago and is now 22 heads. Although I love it as a big colony I know in the next few months I’ll need to break it up so great to see how well your frogspawn handled being fragged
Inappropriate Reefer. That looks better now. I have used that technique many times, it is definitely like you said a Good technique and no body would know that it's not one peace, I love your creativity and imagination. I also love that you can view the Aquarium from more sides rather than two sides only. Thank you for sharing. Awesome video brother, I gave it a big like.
While fragging, my frogspawn cracked in half through the middle, just like a log. I superglued it back together as best as I could. Do you think it will survive?
Help! My elegance coral was fully opened up and looking great yesterday, but it’s now 3/4 dead. I tested all of my water parameters and they were all fine. I even did a tiny water change just in case something in the water was bothering it. It has enough light, and there is nothing around it to sting it. What should I do? Thanks
Can you test your water in a video? I'm having a problem getting my nitrates down. I keep doing 3g water change every Wednesday and sat and replacing it with imaginarium fresh water and Pacific Ocean water. Nitrates still super high. Any advice? Nitrites are at 0
Lots of speculation on this, flow-wise I hear low flow encourages pulsing so the polyps could move the water and get the nutrients more effectively. In my tank the Xenia were always in the same spot, so I noticed they started pulsing when I started dosing phyto more regularly.
That frogspawn looks so much better that you gave it a little hair cut i dont know much of coral names but thanks to you I gotta get one especially the xenia I hope i spelled that right lol. Are there any other corals like the xenia. Also have fun in Asia
I've had good luck using Aiptasia-X when manual removal is not possible. I am starting to see some small ones pop up, I may add 1 or 2 Peppermint Shrimps into the tank if the Filefish don't take care of them.
Good question, I have not tested Nitrate in a long time, will double check. Phosphate has not been measurable with the test kit that I have, probably due to the aggressive macro algae growth and running GFO
Thanks for your answer bro. I have them now under control and in range for some time. I had a torch and it didn't make it. I'm about to try some frogspawn and see. Also in your hyperagero what is your setting? I have one and I run it in 3 on the blues and I think 1 or 2 on the whites. Thanks again!🤙🏻
Jose Morey I got this common green tipped frogspawn , found the best route to buy a big colony. Frogspawn is the easiest out of the euohylia and haven’t had succes with any hammers but I have with frogspawn
Thanks Justin for watching! I haven't tried shipping any coral yet so probably won't go down that route! Although the Frogspawn I got is the common green tip one, should be easy to find locally!
Ok you got me there, after busting the colony in half I didn't want to risk breaking it up further... lol. At least I managed to grab some frags off of the colony!
Best Reefer on youtube! So a quick question when it comes to detritus and such i have a decent buildup in the back of my tank, i have a bullet/banded gobi on the way and was curious if he would clean that up a little bit when sifting through the sandbed?
Thanks Phillip for your kind words! The goby will probably tuck the detritus away somewhere, or get them into the water column to be siphoned out... but personally I'd still clean it out first before the goby arrives, in case the goby just buried the detritus somewhere else and it ended up becoming a nitrate factory.
Hey that background with the fuge light actually looks pretty cool

@Jayson Ares yea, I have been using instaflixxer for years myself :)
tough break when it broke, when you put it back it looked really good. Nice Update!
You made frogspawn one of my favourites, I definitely going to get one if I switched to salt water tank.
We will be waiting for you!
I have to say my wife is a huge fan of Frogspawn me not so much. I am glad i found your videos. I am getting great ideas for my IM 40 set-up. Keep up the awesome work!
Can't wait for an update on the 10g!! I've binged all your videos in one day
Alexa, Frag Frogspawn...
One day...!
Do you use the Dremel because it's a cleaner cut compared to cutters? 🤔
If I have a large enough bone cutter I would use the bone cutter; the one I have is a bit small and could not get the whole branch in one go so I went with the dremel.
@@InappropriateReefer Thank you! I have a dremel but don't have a diamond blade yet. 😒 Looks like a good way to go for fragging anything. 👍
I am liking the changes in the 45; although the fragging didn't go to plan, the tank is looking very healthy all in all
Thank you sir!
This video made my day thinks man im glad u have fun in the hobby

Nice update. Looks like it all worked out in the end.

Your frogspawn looks fantastic! Love the extension you have on it from a video about two years ago lol Awesome looking tank man
that is one huge Frongspawn colony
Beautiful tank 😍
Nice I look at my tank and can't wait to get to that point.
Hey man love your channel! Nice new additions to the tank, is it a pair of file fish? Lol
Nice sheltie in the outtake at the end. I had one for almost 10 years. Other than that your tanks look awesome.
Dude that looks way better!
Great video man! That 10g is amazing. Making me want to try a saltwater tank!

Lol u made me laugh when u said it flew into my mouth , (coral)

Did you grow this from a frag? If yes ... how long?? 😍
I grew it from rougly 2/3 the size of what's left in the 45g right now; the colony double in size every 6-9 months.
Can you test your water in a video? I'm having a problem getting my nitrates down. I keep doing 3g water change every Wednesday and sat and replacing it with imaginarium fresh water and Pacific Ocean water. Nitrates still super high. Any advice? Nitrites are at 0
Looks great
That’s a nice colony
yes new video
Nice how not to video enjoy your trip
I know what not to do when I frag my frogspawn now....lol have a great trip
@inappropriate reefer what gloves are you using to frag?
Do you recommend high flow for frogspawns?
Hey did you figure out what makes your pulsing Xenia pulse strongly?
Sam Osborne that’s easy, just leave it in a low flow area
@@starkiller-8684 it's not always that simple

Thank you Lulu!
You don’t mind vermetid snails ?
I've had my frogspawn for about a year now and they haven't reproduced or gotten much bigger what am I doing wrong?? 🥺🥺
how do you deal with aptasia in the tank?
I've had good luck using Aiptasia-X when manual removal is not possible. I am starting to see some small ones pop up, I may add 1 or 2 Peppermint Shrimps into the tank if the Filefish don't take care of them.
What's the name of the white coral on the right side of the Xenia? :)
It's Sinularia (Finger) Leather, in terms of growth pattern I have seen a few different ones but they all seems to fall under the same name.
Hey man, I never done good with euphilias, what is your Nitrates and Phosphates values to keep them like that? Thanks!
Good question, I have not tested Nitrate in a long time, will double check. Phosphate has not been measurable with the test kit that I have, probably due to the aggressive macro algae growth and running GFO

Question how did you put a sump on your nuvo
Was that a teaser at the end lol
If you see the video on my IG today of the aftermath... LOL
Do you use powder sand?
Where can I get some of those rock frag mounts
Check out @nanorox1 on Instagram, he's the maker!
Inappropriate Reefer. Thanks man.
Hahaa Inappropriate fragging but all good.
Nice
Stabilityyyyyyy
I think it looks alot better with the open space. And do u ship any of the frog spawn To ohio or would u i should say lol ?? Keep up the awseome vids
Thanks Justin for watching! I haven't tried shipping any coral yet so probably won't go down that route! Although the Frogspawn I got is the common green tip one, should be easy to find locally!
Ok, so I thought the purpose for the frag was so it wouldn't stick out of the water in the 1st tank....
Ok you got me there, after busting the colony in half I didn't want to risk breaking it up further... lol. At least I managed to grab some frags off of the colony!

Better video title - Fragspawn
Good job. 😶
I can’t wait to be able to start a salt tank I want some clownfish
Always
Let me know if you ever have a extra frag of frogspawn to get rid of, wouldn't mind taking it off your hands
A shame about the aiptasia in the budget tank :(
👍
what is the red coral
Rose Bubbletip Anemone 👍
Inappropriate Reefer thank you
I think it’s easier to just snap the pieces off with your hands. 🤷🏽♂️👍🏼
True, except sometimes the break point is a bit unpredictable, although in this case I ended up breaking the whole thing anyways, lol.
You should putout more videos you can become big in RUclips
Appreciate your kind words Jose, wish I have more time that I could dedicate to videos!
👀😁👊👍
How not to frog fragspawn coral 😳
Just glue the 2 main pieces back together
It looks like broccoli

Am i the only one that has the frogspawn as their least favourite euphyllia
LOL why do you hate it!?
I don’t really hate it i want a purple tipped one with brown tentacles
But idk if that exists maybe one day after i get a gold torch and a hammer coral
