Correction
It’s not paradivisa or divisa. For hammers it’s paraancora (branching) or ancora (wall)
Divisa Frogspawn
Paradivisa branching frogspawn - Животные
I genuinely enjoy your videos. There’s a certain “real” feel to it I get that I don’t get watching others. Others are helpful too but they all feel scripted. With your video I feel like I’m there enjoying it as much as you are even after X amount of years.
Thank you so much for this feedback :) Means a lot to us. Happy Reefing from March
My man likes merengue and bachata! You got a dominican 🇩🇴 viewer in the house. Thanks for the great work brother
March, you were really lucky to pick that Hammer up and not get stung. I had a gold wall hammer years ago and I didn't think hammers could sting. Well, I was WRONG, it felt like a rather strong bee sting.
YOU might just be the one that’s allergic to them
Great video! Happy birthday Tia!
Happy birthday Tia. Wish you all the best 💗
Hammer corals are my favorite thanks for sharing this secrets with us to keep them healthy and thriving
I just got a frammer this past weekend and I love it!
Very informative video. Thank you 🙏🏻
Happy birthday Tia 🥳
Great video:) Wanting to get a reef tank, your video makes it easy to understand. I like how you summarise the info to help consolidate knowledge. Thanks.
Nice video! Coincidentally I went and picked up my first hammer coral today from March. Thanks for helping me out, great store and service.
Another banger video💪🏻 much love,
Trey
Happy birthday Tia 🎁🎊🎉 and congratz fragbox familia 🥳
I snagged a Gold Aussie Wall Frammer last month. It's an amazing and beautiful piece and has already grown.

What a beautifully full frag tank
Excellent video 👍
Great video,very informative
Dude I love those corals ❤
My frogspawn is pretty much dead so this video is helpful. Happy birthday Tia!!
subscribed on the basis of your advice of the magnesium and hammers. shows you know what you are talking about. so SUBSCRIBED! liked.
really love your vids man
That brain coral looks amazing
Started rewatching all your vids lol
Happy birthday Tia.
I just picked up a super crazy hammer coral the other day. It's so deep purple it's almost black with slight lighter purple striations and a few random bright green splotches on the hammer tips. I have never seen one like it and couldn't find any similar pictures online.
Wish you guys were in the states… would love to add a few of these to my hammer collection 🔥🔥🔥.
Hammers and Frogspawn are no longer in the Euphyllia genus, they have been reclassified to Fimbriaphyllia. Torches (glabrescens) is the only coral that is still in Euphyllia (cristata is in Fimbriaphyllia). It’s a fairly recent reclassification, and they’re all still in the same family, but they are in different genera now. I imagine it’s going to be like how people still call Micromussa lordhowensis ‘Acans’, it’s hard to get people to change. But just FYI, hammers and frogspawn (and cristatas) are now in Fimbriaphyllia.
Wow I did not know that thank you for letting me know.
Hopefully someone can notify Euphyillia eating flat worms soon
Where does Galaxea coral fit in or does it at all?
😂
It will always be euphyllia to me
Divisa is actually Frogspawn, ancora is a hammer. Paradivisa and paraancora denotes branching. :)
Cool videos I’m down in cent fl keep them going !
March you got some decent coral , gutted your in Canada 😭 Love your channel many thanks 🙏 keep up the good work Bro 👍🏴😄
Happy Bday Tia, wish you all the best, luck, healthiness and a big birthday coral present from your boss :-) let him choose you whatever you want :-))), enjoy your day
Great informative video! Thank you! New subscriber.
Hey Man, Happy Birthday beautiful girl. If I lived in Canada I would bring a gift 🎁
Thank You 🙏 Peace Out ✌️
Hey March! Very good (excelent) video. Also importat info about euphillyas. Greetings from México. Eres el mejor!!!
Happy birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 🎁 tia
Happy birthday Tia. Wishing you all the best from Australia💗
Happy Birthday!
I've never had any issues with torches touching torches or hammers touching hammers but every time that I've had any euphyllia touching a different member of the family there has been problems, but that's just my personal experience.
Happy birthday Tia ayyye my birthday was 10/25 shout out to you 💪🏾
you are the BEST
Awesome video going over my favorite coral. Insane color variety. Very informative and helpful video for anyone new to hammers. Keep up the good content, love the channel
what do you usually feed your hammers?
HAPPY BIRTHDAT TIA! 100 LAT !
Hi March,
I have two hammers that thrive in my sump but fade away in my primary tank. The main reef has two other hammers that are totally fine. One is an ordinary green and the other is a TSA Hologram. The two that only like the sump are an ordinary bicolor and a gold. Every time I move a gold or a bicolor to the main tank they close up over a few days and if I don't put them back in the sump they die. Perhaps they don't like the light in the main tank? It is lit by a Vortex LED light which is pretty bright. The Sump is lit by a Fluval Sea Marine LED which I guess produces much lower PAR. Any advice?
Cheers,
Chris
Saludos Marcelo!
Hola!!
how do you keep them tanks so clean?? do you feed them?
It’s not paradivisa or divisa. For hammers it’s paraancora (branching) or ancora (wall)
Divisa -> Frogspawn
Paradivisa -> branching frogspawn
DAM what a rookie movie I will mention in the comments thanks man
I can’t get mine fluffy. Hopefully this video can help!
What do you keep your salinity at March?
What are your light spectrum? Flow schedule?
Those are some really healthy looking corals! What are the name of the different tip sizes on hammers? Are some indo and others maybe aussie or something? Hopefully I have some larger tipped ones coming in an order I because every one i have has very small ones. Smaller then any you have showed even! Granted I order the small one or two heads ! Does the tip size get bigger as it grows more heads? My lfs has huge tips on hers but pricey and many heads so I order online! I have one that has 2 heads and long thin tentacle and tips! Not flat as most but definitely a hammer of some sort! My niteaters range from 5 to 10 right b4 wtare change is when it hits 10! I wsh I could keep lower but have no refugium and dont want to dose nopox . Any sugestions on keeping down? I have no room for reactors its a small 36 gallon and 20 nuvo aio. Bio balls seemed to do nothing and is keeping higher mag safe for softies? po3 is 0.03. Gfo in my filter sock...lol. To bad I don tknow of a media like gfo for nitrates! Well actually nitrates used to be higher when I used chemipure elite but since ssssssssswitching to gfo its a little lower I also dose mb 7 once a week! Is it safe to dose more often? Maybe thats why my nitrates are lower since dosing MB7!
Slight correction the branching hammer is euphyllia (Fimbriaphyllia) paraancora, not divisa. Divisa and paradivisa are frogspawns
are elegance corals ok to be next to torches and hammers and frog spawns
Happy Birthday Scape Queen
They look very healthy
I love LPS
How are u touching them i though they sting mine did
Could you do video about calcium reactor please.
Happy birthday Tia
Happy 🎂 Day to the '🍄 Coral Connoisseur Lady' ... aka: TIA! 😉😂 I hope you have a wonderful day! 😄
Where does Galaxea coral fit in or does it at all?
We purchased a hammer frag on Friday night placed it in a 24 gal man aquarium. By Sunday morning it was completely gone. What went wrong?
Coral/anemone is always gonna be the one "hosting" The Fish would be attending, taking part in or some such. The fish ain`t taking the coral into itself and hosting it :D "pedantic bear being pedantic" out . Love the vids ! huge fan
can u keep hamers and torches next to each other ?
Hi!! Can you tell me what corals are touching that purple and green hammer at 8:20? They almost look like a Duncan or a flower rock anemone haha! Thanks!!
Complimenti per tutto. Potete inserire i sottotitoli in italiano. Grazie
Love HAPPY corals ! ;) LOL
What about lighting, High, Med, Low.
Do you ship corals?
My mp40s at lowest settings are too much for my hammers and torch corals. I originally thought more flow is good but it just killed them all.
❤️🔥
Is salinity of 38 too high?
So can frogspwan and hammer be together
Yep
Lighting?
How did u keep hammer corals so happy what’s your secret lol
What would the industry call the hammer at 11 mins? I need one but I am in America
You didn’t talk about feeding?
Hi found this very interesting as I’m having trouble with two of my corals. The green torch which I have had since 2019 lost two of the heads it had grown since I had it, they just died no idea why, then my Duncan died as well but my frogspawn seems to just keep expanding. I was wondering if it something to do with my parameters. My KH has been at about 10.8, my calcium around 540 and my magnesium has always been around 1490. I use the Hanna testers by the way. I do a IPC test about every three months and that shows very little problem. I just can’t keep these or any SPS corals. Can you advise me. Wish I live in Canada like you just would spend all my time in your shop and all my money to. Love your shows and Happy birthday to Tias.
Probably alkalinity and/or ph swings. Running that high dkh and calcium might result in precipitation and can throw all kind of things of balance. I would advice to run your alk at 9 and calc at 440ish. Lps and sps need good stable dkh and ph without swings during the day. Also good flow is important.
Do people get stung by hammers as a few people on forums say wear gloves
Great selection. Beautiful. I will have to check out your website. Do you ship?
Now I wonder what's the worst pest to have in a reef tank
Probably acropora eating flatworms
Nice the one that eats some of the most expensive corals. Great.
@@Joshthereefer zoa eating spiders are pretty awful too.
so the hammer doesn't bother the elegance and vice versa? I see them touching in the video
Did you know its actually the other way around. The corals/anemones host the clownfish
Also question, I got a green hammer coral and its a tall piece eith skeleton showing but other than that everything else looks fine. Do you know why it would be so tall? Its about 3 or 4 inches tall with 3 heads
I want to collect unfortunately here in India
Keeping Or Selling Corals is bann & illegal in India 😭😭😭😭
I totally agree with Johbob! Your videossare so just off the cuff so to speak and the others sound scripted! I watch all the spotlight series! Anyway, I have a hammer that has about 3 lost heads or receding. I am not sure why other then I did move it to the other side but already had 2 receding when i moved it. I di move it to same proxinity to the light and the rock same height and evrything! I probably should move it back but now I am worrying about to much movent, stress ect. If the heads dont come back soon should I cut them off? Its actually fallen in sand bed too several times. Damn super glue. I am placing an order tomorrow for tunze and regular coaral glue!
😍🌈🧠. I need that rainbow brain!
Did you find most of your torches get along with your hammers? My grim reaper does NOT play well with any of my hammers. Oh and btw, they are no longer Euphyllia. Only torches. Now it's fimbriaphyllia
Mi amigo Hammers and Birdsnest corals are no longer Euphylia corals
i thought you were doing away with the "rainbow" description of your corals
I don’t know how the hell you get away with having your hammers and torches touch on all these videos very frustrating. I am never so lucky I guess I just have a whole torches I’d like lost a nice wall and a gold from torches. I wonder if it matters since it was an Indonesian torch touching an Australian hammer that gave me problems. I wonder if the Australian torches and hammers play nice and the Indo‘s played nice but if you mix them then that’s war
