What I really like about your videos is that you move at a manageable pace and we have time to feel into the stretches. A lot of these other RUclips classes move much too fast and it just makes them frustrating.

Thank you so much. I started doing your beginners yoga prior to the pandemic. It was challenging, but I was enjoying it. ( Family members had been telling me to try yoga for years!). I even got my husband to do it as well with positive results. Then last November, I caught the virus. I was in bed for almost a full month. My IT band got inflamed and was stuck to my muscles, making walking very difficult and painful. I am still recovering from all the effects -( mind, body and emotions). I am a nurse that had to work the "front lines" as well. I want to thank you for continuing to make my recovery possible. The way you teach is just amazing. I appreciate your hard work and dedication to make recovery possible to not only me, but to everyone you touch on RUclips and beyond. Keep being amazing!!

Hi Bird! I love how you isolate slow movement in your practice! It really helps get into the headspace and work out the chronic myofascial pain I, unfortunately, experience on a daily basis. I'm so glad I discovered your channel! Love and light 💖

So happy you enjoyed. The marks on the mat are engraved. It’s a Liforme mat, they are known for the markings to better help with body alignment. It’s a great mat for beginners especially as it tells you if your hands are aligned, feet, etc. You could even draw the lines on your mat. Super great technique to get familiar with physical alignment. 😊🙏🏼

Don’t ever do anything that cause you pain, you should feel a stretch in yoga poses (asana) but never pain. If a pose and movement feels too intense or inaccessible, use props. I could better explain props if you let me know which poses you’re finding difficult. Perhaps they may be accessible and enjoyable with modifications and props like pillows and blocks 😊🙏🏼
