I’d get so frustrated watching other videos because I felt like I had to be perfect like them or I wasn’t “doing it right.” You help me not only to stretch and work my body, but to set space to be kind and loving to my mind during that time, too. I just wanted to say that I used to get so upset with my body for not being able to do simple stretches. But I remind myself that I’m allowed to modify. Because yoga is about doing what’s best for YOUR body. Not trying to do stretches that your body simply can’t do, just because someone else can. Every BODY is different. Some have scoliosis, some have healing bones or muscles, some hav injured parts, and we need to listen to our bodies because that’s the only way we can truly heal them. If you’re struggling with a stretch today, don’t force yourself. And don’t get upset with yourself, because you showed up to the mat today and that’s what it’s about. You’ve done what’s best for YOUR body. And that’s the best thing you can do for yourself. Dear stranger, I love you and I wish you the best.

I've been using your videos to guide me with yoga almost daily and it's been so so helpful, not just physically but emotionally. I have diagnosed Anxiety and ADHD and PTSD so it's immensely difficult not to feel like small inconveniences are a dragging weight, and it's even harder to remember to care for myself. But yoga has been helping so, so much, it's 10~15min a day where I feel like there's nothing else in this world but me and my body and that is so, so powerful This is a thanks, yes, but I chose to comment on your video because I saw your kitty and was laughing a little because my cat also seems to enjoy when I do yoga for some reason, she always comes over for pets hahah
