I am having the same problem currently, I have my new pedal coming in tomorrow morning. After watching your video I can guarantee I’ll figured out before the pedal comes in. Thanks for the video saved me a lot of time.
Just pull the plug on any sensor. The exhaust back pressure or the map sensor is the easiest to get to. Look for the 5 volts on the connector. Keep pulling plugs out to you find the short. Call me anytime and I will walk you through it. 570 441 0944.
Yes and no on the wrench light . It seems to be intermittent as well … but thank you for your video it helped keep me from dropping $$ on a gas pedal ( for now anyways) .
Stephen that code is for the exhaust back pressure sensor it's located on the left side of the motor about midway it looks like a dip stick tube with a sensor on top. The problem you are having sounds like that's the problem. In my video that's the plug I disconnected to measure the voltage and as you see the truck ran great after I found the map sensor bad. Please feel free to call me I'll explain it in detail. 570 441 0944
After replacing the MAP sensor , did the rest of the codes clear as well ?! I’ve got ALOT of codes on my 2005 like you did . But my pedal is intermittent, sometimes I have no issues at all and then I’m constantly having to stop and restart my truck to get my pedal back . Thank you .
Jay, yes all the codes cleared after replacing the map sensor. I had the intermittent pedal a few times and did restart the truck to keep going. Is your wrench symbol on when the pedal stops working? He is another tip, just pull the plug on the map sensor and see if that solves it.
Good idea unplug battery, for a few minutes or over night. Then let it run 10 min, without touching anything and it should reset, clearing everything and reteaching system.😎👍
Hey I had f350 could it be a fuses gone bad as will to the throttle or Sensor My brother called herself unplugged in fuses so it is so the truck couldn't be stolen but he can't remember what fuse he unplugged
I describe the problem In the video. It was the map sensor was shorted causing the 5 volts needed for other sensors to operate to drop down to 1 volt. After upluging the map sensor the 5 volts came back and the truck runs great. I did not have any electrical issues prior to this.
Poor thing, somebody is dieing in the background, i pray the lord touches them if thier sick and even if they aren't i still pray the lord touches them in Jesus name

My truck will not accelerate when in reverse or drive, but when it’s in neutral or park it accelerates fine. Would that still be a sensor?
Sounds like a transmission problem or your parking brake or brakes are stuck.
Same problem here, did you find the solution ?
@@joseruiz5740 nope! Been sitting in my drive all winter. I’m taking it to a powerstroke mechanic next week. I’ll update you then.
Mines doing the same thing. Any luck with yours?
@@gabriellarsen4885 ending up selling it😂

Do you have the owners manual that will show you what fuses are for what and the location of each fuse.
what was the cause of the problem then? And did you ever have an electrical problem with loose harnesses or something similar?

Sounds like it's the fuel pump. Check this video out.

Check the high pressure oil pump pressure.
Most of the time it’s the ebp sensor and you should never use trash auto zone parts big no no
Same problem pedel to the floor No response will try the BPS and see how that works
