    That definitely helped with codes.
    Although after replacing the solenoid,my 2014 forester started to misfire noticeable without causing the check engine light

    I been reading alot about the p0021 . Which is reference on bank 2 top actuator. Bank 2 is the side that has the even cylinder numbers. bank 1 has odd numbered cylinders. Left or right referring always is when sitting behind the wheel. So p0011 is on the left on bank 1 from sitting behind the steering wheel .

    I had the same problem and codes, changed the OCV solenoid just as shown, the codes cleared on their own after starting the Crosstrek and drove great. However the SUV sat overnight and when starting and driven the next morning the same thing occurred as before, with the same two codes P000A and P0011. The sensor was also replaced before replacing the solenoid so that's not the problem either. What else could it be and why did changing the solenoid clear the codes and run great temporarily?

      @American Grit you can try unplugging and re plugging the connector, maybe the harness or contact is faulty. Thanks for watching please Like and Subscribe if you haven't already

      @@americangrit9820 Any chance you figured this out? I am getting constant P000A codes. Replaced the solenoids four times, replaced the timing chains, replaced the AVCS cam gears, change the oil frequently. I can get the code to clear for a couple weeks and it always returns

    • @americangrit9820
      @americangrit9820 Год назад

      @@fatkat311 Still no luck here either. I moved the new solenoid to the other 3 locations and the code followed the part each time it was moved, changing to P000B, C, D. So I replaced the part and my Crosstrek cleared the code and ran fine for about 400 miles and then without warning, same thing happened again, lights on the dash came back on and began to run "rough" again. I haven't checked to see which codes are showing yet. Very frustrating to say the least... I hope someone posts a fix that will help us out soon.

      @@americangrit9820 if you happen to figure this out, please let me know and if I do I will certainly share it with you. I have a 2015 WRX but the solenoids are almost identical and I’ve heard they have similar issues as the crosstrek. I have probably replaced the solenoids maybe 8 or 10 times. It’s almost like my car is eating these. Like you, if I move the solenoid after the code comes on the code follows the solenoid. At this point I’m wondering if the ECM is the issue. Like maybe its shorting out the sensor? The Subaru parts dealer said these fail often.
