after replacing both camshaft position sensors (bank1&2)ticking from engine (5.4 triton 2004 f-50) P0011 popped up bank 1 , and wondering if it would straight up be timing chain , or that sensor on bank 1 any experiences similar and your stories would be great !?

Hello i hope you see my comment and give me a helpful reply … My g37s infiniti had the same code going over 8 months for now i have changed oil , filter, and both cam shafts sensors and only one solenoid sensor which is bank 1 as the code gave me p0011 but i did not change the bank 2 solenoid. So my question is. Could bank2 solenoid be the problem also? Or should i change my crankshaft sensor? Or what should i do please help me i have been in this issue for so long. Thank you so much
Hi my friend. There are a couple of other possibilities for this case: - If that engine has dual VVT, please make sure that you have checked/replaced the bank 1 “intake” VVT solenoid - You don’t need to replace the crankshaft sensor for now, but you might need to focus on the VVT itself or bank 1 Intake camshaft tone wheel which is located at the end of the camshaft to trigger the signal on camshaft sensor. - I don’t have that model of Infiniti right now to double check, but please make sure that there is no separate filter for VVT solenoid on the engine, if there is, it must be removed and cleaned.
Everything explained in this video is applicable to that car too, but generally you can start by checking the engine oil, then CVVT oil control valve (Solenoid). It could be timing chain problem as well but it's much better to check the solenoid before the timing chain as it happens a lot and it is not costly. You haven't had any repair on the engine recently that it needed the timing chain or head removal?
Hi There, every code you have is referring to the intake camshaft position, and as you have P000A which is: “Intake “”A” Camshaft Position Slow Response Bank 1.” and your engine doesn't start anymore, I think you must start by checking the intake camshaft position sensor first.

Good afternoon friend! I have a 2011 GMC Terrain SLT. A few days ago I changed the timing chain and tensioner kit. The next day that they delivered it to me, the engine began to die at 0 revolutions while I was at a red light or slowly passing a curb, the engine died and I had to start up again to start my machine. The code that the scanner gives me is P0011: Camshaft Synchronization Fault. Excessive advance on bench 1. Camshaft position. What is the error code P0011 friend?
Hi there, So you didn’t have this code before changing the timing chain? At the first place check the intake VVT solenoid connector, sometimes they forget to check the connectors after the repair. It also could be for the timing misalignment as it started happening right after the repair.

If it appeared after that, yes oil could be the problem. VVT works with the engine oil and mostly the thicker oil affects it's operation but in some case ant other oil which engine is not designed on, could make some difficulties.
