I am NEVER going to buy another Honda again 100% because their engineering managers placed the oil filter in the WORST possible location for DIY oil changers like me. It ALWAYS makes a total mess of the chassis, drain pan, and driveway. Smarten up, HONDA !!!

This was the video wad the best I could find and for anyone with a 2014 Nissan Rogue Select, this is the process to get to the blower motor. I know other newer models you can get to the REAR of the motor from the passenger side, which is the easiest way to access it compared to having to drop the whole brake and accelerator assembly. Boss man, I don't have a connector for the plug opposite the control valve connector. I'm curious to know how it got power the last 7 years. Ac just took a shit. Could that plug be useless. Looked everywhere under the car. Only have the control valve connector. Great video, btw. It's hot asf in Miami. Any help is appreciated.

was there a retainer at the transmission side ? 03 Forester and I need to see how it goes back together and stays together.... I put mine back together but drove it and heard click, etc, and noticed axle had popped out 3/8 inch at the transmission, WTH. Tired and disappointed at the moment. Maybe there is no retainer ?

I think if you use rubber type of material like the bike tire inner tube instead of the red rag which slips and spins that would make it not spin when you turn the nut.
