Imagine going to jail for a misdemeanor and coming out with a felony.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing.
You would be flabbergasted to know how often it happens 😂
At least 2 felonies. Assaulting an officer and bringing contraband into a jail.
@@edsloan8535 Depending on state law in Nevada she might not be facing a contraband charge. The needles were found upon the initial search while being booked. If they had made their way into a cell block she would have at least faced an institutional charge, though, likely costing her 30-60 days in solitary confinement without commissary privileges. I agree that she was likely attempting to get them into the cell block, though -- I hear the going rate for a used needle is 50 soups and 15 honey buns. 😃

Sad deal. I could have been so many of those people. The other day me and dad where driving and a guy at a red light had a sign asking for money. Dad said, that’s always been a fear of mine, end up seeing you in that same spot. I’m a army infantry veteran and doing well now but I’ve had my downs that’s for sure.
Go to the VA and ask for help. Make sure to get a counselor that you are comfortable with (ask for a different one if you are not comfortable with the one assigned) and also find
a group of veterans to talk and share with. Don’t wait like my husband until 30+ years has passed (Vietnam Veteran)

Some of those people holding up signs are fakes, meaning not homeless, they are just lazy not wanting to work. Beware of that.

It’s sad to see how people can screw up their lives, hope they work things out.
People have trauma, usually caused in childhood and drugs or drinking is their only escape from the pain. Making them criminals is a crime in itself. Just get them the help they desperately need
I got in bad trouble when I was 18, almost did 2 years... I can say the wake up call turned my life around for the better, and made me appreciate life to this day. Some of us need this to happen to realize.. It's just sad that some don't learn from it.
@@AllOuttaBubblegum123 No, it's not necessarily trauma that turns people into this. Lots of addicts have severe mental illnesses that cause them to self-medicate with alcohol and drugs. I used to think that all drugs should be legalized but for a lot of people addicted to hardcore drugs, providing easier access to substances is the last thing they need.
More low cost treatment programs are needed but even that is no panacea. 40-60% of individuals relapse within 30 days of leaving an inpatient drug and alcohol treatment center, and up to 85% relapse within the first year. In my judgement, the most important factor in getting off drugs is taking personal responsibility. Blaming your addiction on trauma or mental problems is not taking responsibility.
I don’t feel sorry for any of these people whatsoever, this tends to happen when somebody you love is taken away because of the actions of some drug addled drunk low life.

I love how they ask someone politely if they've got anything on them and get upset when they find they've lied, it must be an awful job, dealing with the mess of society.
You’re dealing with drug addicts or alcoholics, I think it’s on you if you assume they’re telling the truth. In fact, maybe you shouldn’t even be working at a place like that I you think you’ll only be dealing with sane polite individuals!

Ignorance of laws isn’t a defense from being arrested. While I agree that some are more susceptible to drinking or doing drugs, there are still laws to follow. Don’t do the crime if you’re not willing to be arrested. If you know kicking an officer results in arrest, don’t kick an officer. If speeding results in a ticket, don’t speed. Knowingly hiding a needle in your bra and taking it into a jail, well, you know. One reaps what one sows.

They didn't arrest her solely for the fact that she was walking on a roadway they probably made contact with her to tell her that she wasn't allowed to be doing that and ask her why she was,and then asked for ID when they figured out that the ID she had on her wasn't a valid form of ID they took her to the station to properly ID her and make sure she didn't have warrant's.

Hello from Fresno California, My respect and admiration for all Officers specially for the Women Officers how they handle all situations. May God Bless You and Protect You all, and return to your Family safely. Best of Luck.
Such an attractive woman wasting her life. I cant believe people would even try this once when we now know how addictive it is. Your life if it was so terrible before cant be any worse than this. Its so sad
Nayanpanchal thank you. Likewise.
Whats ridiculous is how they charge ppl with assault n they barely did anything joke of a system n pssy cops
Sincerely hope this young lady gets the help she needs ! We have to want that help though.......
Wow really so just because her ID wasn’t valid for no reason for walking in the roadway not jay walking she was arrested and finger printed! Absolutely ridiculous! Good job Las Vegas PD.
They don’t say if she was walking in the middle of a busy road or where…hard to say where she was walking. Just glad she’s safe!
All the boot lickers are gonna comment.
@@SusanH578 yeah the woman that is so safety conscious that has to carry a stun gun with her, is dressed conservatively, is really walking in the middle of the street?
Yeah I'd issue a complaint and sue.
Great comment I've run into this issue before. Government wants to know your every move these days. Wells Fargo will not let you deposit cash in your account without a valid ID. Communism is alive and well in the US of A
She's employed over 20 years and still a regular unranked deputy 🤔
Yeahhh. My mom was like that. She preferred hooking up with the Captain, not being Captain. Sorry mom!
Bruh they done put her in time out in the corner🤣🤦🏻♂️
How unsafe do you have to feel to keep a tazer in your bra😢
Alll depends on where you live. Remember, some people even carry guns.
I don't blame her but I think Bear Spray might be a better option to keep a distance.
Better safe than sorry
@@ag4allgood You can't carry bear spray in her bra without it being seen.
Because there are too many creepy lurkers and bad people! I do the same because I've been followed too many times by weirdos. And you can't depend on anyone else to come to your rescue cause the majority of people are too weak to help someone that is in need of help.
"Why do you have a stun gun?"
Is it your business?
The way they slammed her head into the plastic room divider?? Lord have mercy 😮💨 0:45
4:25 sounds like she was illegally detained
Isn't it illegal to bring a weapon into jail?
Yes, but when it is that you're officially "in" jail can vary by jurisdiction. She might not legally have been in jail at that moment.
The right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be Infringed,so no it's not illegal.
She shouldn't be in the jail in the first place,if she hasn't been tried by a judge and jury and found guilty of a legal crime.
Addiction is a living nightmare that is hard to escape from. And a lot of the times escape is when you’re dead
I feel bad for this woman...I know what it is like to have a drug addiction...I wish nothing but the best for her a s she gets the help she needs... I'm a year and 1 week clean
She needs help not being man handled
Bravo! You are stronger than you realize!
@@missolesoul thank you very much sweetheart. I was addicted to meth from the time I was 17 until I turned 27 and then it went to intravenous heroin usage from 27 to 32... but it is amazing now not having to struggle with getting more or catching charges... but I honestly appreciate you saying that
@@jasonricco5835 agreed and she needs help with the drug problem...I wish I could give her that help.. but sadly I can't
This woman is aggressive and angry. She’s probably like that with everyone.
Walking on a roadway, better take her in then let her go... great work scooby gang.
If you don't like that law start a campaign to get it changed.
If you have a vagal episode you will know they are not fun! I have to stay super calm and kind of hype myself up whenever I get poked with needles too. I've passed out a few times when I wasn't paying attention and some times when I was trying not to.
"Vagsl"???
Great show , looks like a good police unit to work for !!
The first girl was so sad. So often they know they should better themselves, in her case for her child's sake, but they just don't know how to get help. Your heart really goes out to her type.
"What was her original charge?... "
"Walking on a roadway."
"... because we couldn't identify her, we brought her down here..."
I would make it my new hobby to have that dude separated from his badge.
WTF? In what jacked up place is it an arrestable offense to walk on a roadway? And while walking, not have a valid ID?
Holy crap has our "law enforcement" gotten out of hand.
Im glad someone else noticed that BS. And he said he is going to give her a ride back... What part of protect and serve is that?
Incrementally we are toddling into a Big Brother state, and nobody seems powerful enough to stop it.
The cop should be dismissed from the service, tyrant.
Is she doesn't have an ID, they can legally take her down to the police station to find out who she is.
Also every state has different pedestrian laws.
