The drug war is a war on humanity, for the profit of big pharma, alcohol industry, policing, and the private prisons/industrial complex. It is NOT about helping people. You don't rob people who are mentally ill, or depressed, or trying to treat their trauma with chemicals while hurting no one, of their freedom and dignity by degrading them and throwing them into an assault cage. Then sticking them with a record that prevents them from ever getting a good job, or the respect of their neighborhood, for life. And every single person involved with it, from the legislation to the courts to the cops on the streets know it's wrong, and want you to place the blame on the ones above them. "Don't blame me blame the courts, but don't blame the courts blame the president, but don't blame the president blame god", each and every one of them is responsible. If people understood the cost of having the worlds largest prison state they would be appalled. But instead it's just 80million tv shows pumping out pro cop, pro state propaganda, and their heads are so screwed up they think the solution to it all is throwing more cops at it. "Everytime we hire more cops they find more decent people to incarcerate to justify their weighty paychecks? Well, only solution to that is even more cops. Just keep adding more gasoline to the fire forever and eventually it will fix the problem".

They should have separated her if she was in the back talking to imaginary people. Even if it was all lighthearted and she wasn't saying anything serious, still very dangerous to have someone who isn't fully in touch with reality around other people in a setting like that. people like that go from 0-100 in under 1 second.

A homeless man refused to leave the library on a cold day, so the police were called. The officer had some discussion with that person, because he was disorderly and causing unease. The man shot the officer (Feb. 4) in the head. He lingered under sedation and pain until yesterday, Feb. 27. He is out of pain, as he passed away, without one year of marriage. His Blue salute was today.🧑🏾‍✈️🕊🚔 I thought about this when I heard the officer remind the others that the detainee had not been patted down.🥤Go home with your family.🤲🏼👈🏾

I agree with you and I have direct Information that makes the entire issue even sadder, I have a VERY close relative that works with and for the department of public safety (city police department) where we live in Colorado, I've been apprised with the knowledge that our county mental health department has began to refuse services to people, the very people who need it the most, the mentally ill that are frequent fliers with the county law enforcement agencies where I live, the county mental health is THE only option for the vast majority of these individuals and now the only help available for them is saying no, they're too difficult, combative, angry, uncooperative, etc....the individuals that need it the most now can't get help, it's a free for all and no one cares anymore, those who could help anyway
