I grew up in Las Vegas and let me tell you no place for a kid that has no father. I racked up 22 charges by 17 and by 18 I had them all expunged and moved, I was wild and my father passed away at 12 and I went absolutely crazy. I thank god my father taught me the things he did cause as an adult I have never went back to jail.

I know there are some instances where arrests and laws can just be a burden, but I am totally behind drunk driving arrests…they can kill ppl in a second and it’s scary. I feel like she just gave up caring in life by the way she talks. Also, only 1-2 glasses of wine and you get in an accident like that??? Imagine if she drank a little more, she obviously cannot control herself under the influence by calling a taxi/uber so I hope this is a wake up call for her instead of a place where she can try to fix ppl. Leave that to the therapists. Hopefully she doesn’t end up back in jail, but if she doesn’t learn her lesson now, she sure will.

She struck me as someone who is very lonely. Since we don't know the blood test results, who's to say she was legally drunk or not. At her age, her reflexes are not as fast as they were when she was younger so she might have not hit the brake in time. I mean seriously, she was the one who called the cops to report the accident, if she was drunk why would she put herself in that situation. It sounded like nobody was in the Mercedes, she could have just left a note and nobody would be the wiser.

What can a family do?

They were rude, condensing and very impatient. Even though I was following the rules, and being respectful to them. Snohomish county sucks!!!
