This is jail, they haven't been convicted of anything. They should not be treated like criminals. As far as the police are concerned booking them should be an administrative process. We went to Vegas and flew back on Sunday morning. As we were leaving other people were arriving and yelling Whoo Hooo! Wow acting crazy just off the plane early am on a Sunday! I'm sure the jails are never empty here and I feel for the locals that just want a moments peace.
i used to go to Vegas 2x/year for business. as soon as i stepped off the plane i could feel my immune system plummet.
it’s the kind of place you *have* to be intoxicated to enjoy, because when you’re sober, you see past the glittering surface and start to notice all the filth, corruption, decay, and overarching sadness of the place and people. once you notice it, you can’t un-see it, and it can be quite difficult to sequester all that ugliness to the back of your mind and pretend to have fun. fortunately, there’s an abundance of booze and drugs to assist with that 💕
Locals really don't spend much time on the Strip unless they work there. I was based in Vegas for 3 years with my airline and in that time I went to the Strip maybe 7 or 8 times and that was only to pick up friends so we could grab lunch away from the tourists or go hiking at Red Rock. The difference between the passengers I flew in to Vegas was a stark contrast to how they were on the way out.
It’s kind of funny to watch the flights to and from Vegas. On the way there, everyone is all amped and talking about all the partying they’ll be doing and money they’ll make.
Flights back are often as quiet as a morgue. Everyone is hungover, beaten down by the casinos and broke 😂.
