With people who will spit on you (throw other bodily fluids at you) kick, bite and punch you harder than children will.

Really bad, dangerous, evil babies.
I’m watching this today not for entertainment but to keep myself sober. Brings back horrible memories when I was arrested and I’m thankful and blessed to be on the straight and narrow again.
Stay strong

Years ago on the " Cops " series a woman was being videotaped while being booked for DUI. She offered all kinds of favors to the state trooper which he politely refused. She was shown the video after sobering up, broke down crying and swore to never drink again. She was on the show years later saying she still wasn't drinking and the video changed her life.
I remember that episode but it was later revealed she was a robotic turkey from the year 9595.

I’ve seen drugs and alcohol turn good people into raving lunatics , yet they continue to repeat their actions time and time again…it’s so sad to witness
Addiction can sink its hooks into you so deep, they're almost impossible to get out and that's why they repeat their actions even though they KNOW the alcohol or drugs are making them behave this way. They can control it but only to a degree unless they get serious rehab help and even then that's no guarantee. I don't mean this to say or imply that I defend or condone or absolve them from their behavior and their choices, mind you. I just want folks to know that sometimes, addiction is nearly impossible to overcome and it will get in the driver's seat of your life and you aren't calling your own shots after that.
Edited to add that I know of this by watching my brother sink into alcoholism and knowing he's unable to control it any more. It's cost him jobs, his first wife and both children and now his current wife is considering leaving him over his drinking and the person he becomes when he's drunk, which is nearly all the time. He's 61 and literally looks like he's 85 or so, he's so bent and wizened and gray haired from the alcohol.
drugs/ alcohol can turn good into real bad ive seen it too many times . nobody's immune to it . its a equal opportunity destroyer
@@LauraS1 my brother is just like that. And he has no excuse because we were raised in a normal two parent household. I could’ve chosen to do hard drugs as well but I didn’t. he did. Ruined his life. Even when he’s sober, he still has junkie tendencies. it’s like he can’t ever get rid of them.
Why is it sad?
@@samwoods3430 Because each of these people started out as someone's precious baby (most of them) and had potential to have a decent life like the rest of us. Somewhere along their way in life, they got derailed and couldn't rescue themselves. It's sad to watch the train wreck, knowing that if they hadn't gotten on drugs or alcohol, their lives would be so much different, that maybe they could've lived up to the potential they were born with.
Watching the drunk guy try and argue with the crazy lady was hilarious, it took her waay too long to realize that "waffle drinker" isn't an insult that makes any sense.
Min: 0:42 In Memory of Officer Dan Leach End of Watch : November 21, 2009
Correctional Officer Daniel Leach was killed in an automobile accident on U.S. 95, near Searchlight, at approximately 5:45 am. He was driving a prisoner transport van to the Tucker Holding Facility to pickup prisoners when the vehicle collided with a semi truck that pulled into his path from a side street. Officer Leach had served with the agency for 25 years. He is survived by his wife and two children.

As a recovering addict who has been arrested many times.. I was always honest with the police and respectful. They're so used to being lied to and disrespected that when someone tells the truth and treats them kindly they'll give you a break 99% of the time unless their hands are absolutely tied. It was a long time before I was sent to prison too because while ppl say the cops aren't the judge and jury... best believe that police report is following you to court and the judge is taking everything into consideration ! 🤷🏽♀️

The “grabbing my balls” guy was pretty funny honestly 😂
The guy that nearly killed the woman when drunk drove or got high then only cared about himself was disgusting, hope he enjoys the prison time he will have many years to think about himself

It's really sad I haven't found the story but I really hope the woman who was thrown from the vehicle makes it out of the hospital. 🙏🙏What alot of people don't realize, due to not having any experience or education on addiction and generational addiction is that most people who are this far gone usually have no idea what's actually happening in reality. Yoooo this was literally the jail they took me in to for my DUI in Vegas. Ive never felt so lucky to be ignored on social media.
Can you imagine dealing with these people day in and day out... your mind would be warped, literally.
Yeah, it would be exhausting. I'm thinking you'd just have to adopt a professional almost alter ego, that you could just separate from your daily self so as just not to carry all that aggro from work around with you, a game persona. I definitely don't think I could do a job like this for very long
Zip your lip potato chip. 😂😂 that’s cute. Gave me a chuckle.
I worked in a state prison for 22 years, the advantage that we had was they weren't bringing people in off of the street under the influence of anything but we had convicted criminals, some of them were extremely violent and were not ever getting out so they didn't care about getting more time and would kill an officer or inmate and have no remorse.

When I joined the army they wanted me to be a prison guard but I declined. I knew that would be a little too much for me to handle. I admire your courage.
The secret is treating the inmates like humans, don't judge, do your job properly and don't show any fear, no matter how scared you may feel when they know that you are scared they own you.
This makes me feel so bad for these people. The majority of them dealing with mental health issues that are being left untreated or undiagnosed.

It makes me very angry that these people are high out of their mind and then proceed to get behind the wheel of a car placing innocent people in danger. I always worry when my family goes anywhere in the car because of all these people not having any consideration for other motorists.
Agreed! I have no empathy for these people who willingly drive intoxicated.
Jail is the best place for them.
@@alysiareid6659
I disagree. I think inpatient rehab would be the best place for them not jail. I am six years sober. Yes, not everybody can do that not everybody can reach sobriety and maintain it, but these people have a chance to turn their life around as long as they’re in this world to do so , rehab would be a way better place for them. I would rather spend my tax paying dollars instead of imprisoning somebody putting them in a rehabilitation center it’s money better spent. I am six years sober myself.
@@BLUE_OCTOBER-TRIX I went to rehab. 85% of addicts go back to using within a year of completing rehab. It only works if you're ready to quit
@@alysiareid6659
I understand that, but it beats jail. There’s a better chance of them staying sober if they go to rehab instead of jail, there is no kind of programs in jail, except for some AA meetings maybe once or twice a week that’s not enough. I have been sober six years now myself
To think with Uber and Lyft, friends etc, that ppl STILL get behind the wheel is shocking. I can’t imagine what they feel when they realize they killed or almost killed innocent people and it could’ve been avoided. I pray the victim is doing well. Prayers for strength!!
Best line: "He is not exactly a member of MENSA." I spit laughed at that one!
😂 how people aren’t frightened or embarrassed into sobriety is beyond me.
Most don’t see how pathetically they behave.
Because when you're high youre in a delusional state of mind.
A lot of the time they can’t help it. Addiction is a disease. I get what you mean though.
Unfortunately because you’re associated, literally doesn’t seem like there is any possible out. Death seems easier. I was an alcoholic. Now 4 years sober, I am so blessed that I never got arrested, didn’t do any illegal activity or hurt anyone. But I count myself as lucky :/ I look back at this and definitely now feel embarrassed to think this could of been me. Have to have a sober mind to feel that :/
I spent some time in psychiatric instotutions (the ones where you cant leave if you want to) visiting a family member and it is frightening and sad how people can act absolutely crazy with zero alcohol/narcotics in them. Made me judge people acting insane different. Sure.. many of them are high and or drunk but some are really delusional/psychotic and its not fair they get often treated like drunk junkies when they get arrested.
Yes. Usually goes hand in hand, bc they self medicate by using drugs. Theres almost always underlaying psychopathology.
You are so right and many of them get seriously injured or murdered by police because they don't understand the gravity of the situation.
Very true and very sad
Very sad to witness the unfortunate condition these people find themselves in. Keeping it together can be very difficult for many people, modern life expects so much from us all it is easy to falter. I've been asked before why I do not drink or do any drugs (except caffeine because, tea and coffee are a thing), and the reason is simple: because I never want to act like these people do...and because the thought of possibly causing harm to others while in such an altered state is something that, a someone who has lost a beloved friend to a drunk/high "driver", is repugnant.
