@Danielle Marseco It's sad to see people who don't understand their addiction. I'm sure that she poured herself a drink, thinking she would have just 1. I've never taken drugs of any kind. If I felt a little tipsy after a drink, I can drink plenty of water to stop that. With drugs, one can't spit out the drug. If only somebody would get her into a 12 step programme, she might understand. My sister gained sobriety with AA and her life is transformed. I really admire her tenacity. She is such fun to be around and recently had her 7th year sober birthday.

Luckily for me I'm a really nice drunk who never causes trouble. I just stay at home and keep myself to myself. Other drunks should follow my example.

My mother worked at a prison starting in the early 90's and many did act this way. If there are mental health issues coupled with any type of substance especially, then this is what you get, regardless of which decade it is. We understand mental health better now and have learned that methods in the past only made the mental health issues worse, and that getting angry or showing aggression for someone like the woman in this video doesn't deescalate a situation, but can actually make it worse. Of course not every inmate or detainee acts like this. These are people with mental health issues and they're the videos that go viral. No one wants to watch the normal person who sits quietly and does what they're told being booked because that's one boring af show.

I’m sure she was told her charges multiple times when she was arrested as well as being told them by officers once she got to jail.
With her level of intoxication there’s no point in continuing to explain her charges to her. She’s not capable of processing the information. Whether it’s because she’s just to drunk to remember what she was told, or she’s not in the right frame of mind to actually *listen* to what she’s being told, repeating themselves to her will not serve any purpose.
