  • In this intense clip from the reality series JAIL, a defiant inmate at the Clark County Detention Center threatens to "get crazy" on the guards during the booking process. True to their word, the inmate soon unleashes a full-blown tantrum, screaming incoherently and thrashing about in a fit of rage. The correctional officers struggle to maintain control of the situation as the unruly detainee's behavior escalates, putting the safety of both staff and other inmates at risk. The dramatic scene underscores the unpredictable and often volatile nature of life behind bars, as well as the challenges faced by those tasked with maintaining order within the facility.

JAIL is a gritty, unscripted reality TV series that provides a raw and unfiltered look into the world of county jails across the United States. Each episode follows a diverse cast of inmates from the moment of their arrest through the booking process and their first days in custody. The show captures the tense and often confrontational interactions between detainees and correctional officers, as well as the complex social dynamics that emerge among the inmates themselves. With its candid footage and behind-the-scenes access, JAIL offers a compelling and sometimes shocking glimpse into the harsh realities of life in America's correctional system, shedding light on issues such as substance abuse, mental illness, and the challenges of rehabilitation.

My Dad was a policeman in the 70’s-80’s. There was a mental health hospital that had lots of land, farm land, a dairy barn where the patients worked. They had a home and jobs and were safe. Then the politicians in Boston decided to close it down. They did not place the patients and all who had lived there were let loose. No help, no housing. No medical services. My Dad would see then sitting on park benches in the bitter cold winter. He would pick them up and bring them to the ER. The ER did not want them. Dad would say if I see them outside tonight I will be back. He was worried and concerned that they would freeze to death. We can thank our politicians for allowing this. people with mental health issues do not get better. It is for life and they have been thrown to the streets to fend for themselves. They do not function in society. Many are violent and hurt and murder others.
Mental health hospitals need to be reopened.

Reagan signed the Lanterman-Petris-Short Act in 1967, all but ending the practice of institutionalizing patients against their will.
When deinstitutionalization began 50 years ago, California mistakenly relied on community treatment facilities, which were never built. And the Lanterman-Petris-Short Act made it virtually impossible to compel treatment prior to extreme decompensation.
The consequence became clear quickly. The number of mentally ill people entering the criminal justice system doubled the first year after the Lanterman-Petris-Short Act was enacted.

If religion ruled and women couldn't vote, this kind of thing would hardly happen at all, and the consequences of it wouldn't be so bad if it did. This is what a female-subservient society gets you. Every major issue in today's society can be traced back to women's suffrage and women's "liberation" (liberated to work 40 hours a week in a factory). Women aren't designed to make important decisions in a deceptive industrialized world like this. They couldn't even be trusted before industrialization, because women like Theodora would give all the power to literal eunuchs. You may cope and respond with some corny reddit tier quip, but it's just your heart racing because you're remembering world history.
