In the metro Detroit area, the cops dump off all of the violent, wasted, and annoying criminals in the ER. Some need the medical attention, but most are a waste of resources.
That would be me. I always tell them that I will stand with them no matter what UNLESS they hurt someone else in any kind of way, without the person harming them or almost do something to them.
I like seeing the inmates being put to work cleaning the jail. Assume they earn a small amount for this duty but it’s certainly a lot less expensive than hiring regular cleaners
i have a friend who is a c.o. at a jail, and she said that a lot of the time it's like taking care of overgrown kindergarteners that missed the 'hands to yourself' lesson. she said she has literally put ppl in 'time out' corners...apparently, it's still an attention getter,lol.
For a lot of the trusties it’s a way to avoid being in the pods where they get bored, restless, and all too often in fights. For a lot of these people, it’s probably the first time they’ve had an actual job. I’ve hired people who were trustees in jail and they said it’s the first time they ever knew that they had to be at work on time because they never learned it at home. Some are problematic, but a few of them are stellar employees.
If people are that desperate to get to jail for those things, then I don’t know what to say because I don’t care about all of that. I still would not want to be in jail.

Seriously, if you don't have anyone to cook for you and you are very busy, you miss hot food. To.many in jail, they really don't eat until commissary comes in to get decent food. They are still picky, even in jail.

Exemplary service from all these officers. It can’t be easy to deal with so many unruly individuals. I sincerely feel for these people, it’s easy to get sucked into the cycle of bad decisions and it just perpetuates.
With that first guy, if that was his actual personality, it would be a good idea to lock him up for life. The only reason that he should be given another chance is because he was hallucinating terribly. The second guy seemed to get in a fight for a very valid reason. That is, because his truck and dog were taken, not because of free turkey sandwiches.
They Definately do not come around and "check" on you once they throw you in that box you stay in that box until you either leave or they transport you upstairs.
These young kids, it is just sad.................I was a kid like that, didn´t see a future or had any hope. Almost 60 years old now, and I´m as good as I´m gonna get...............not perfect, but satisfied with where I´am today. It has been quite a journey.
Sorry these are not kids, they are fully grown adults and need to act like it, having no hope is no excuse, whatever situation ,you have responsibility to do the best with the choices and opportunity you have not make it’s someon else’s problem.
