No use arguing with a drunk.
None, they don't hear a thing said.
You have a better chance arguing with a toddler. They are more reasonable.
Or if you are a deputy sheriff at a county jail with any kind of smarts about you you do not put two drunk men in the same room together especially a cell that small when one of the men are not right both definitely should be fired on the spot not a good idea to put to drunk intoxicated teed off men in the same cell I know from experience
From what I could see the other guy was trying to defend against the other man he should not have charges on him for trying to defend himself from the other intoxicated man the county in question will face a lawsuit hopefully for being

Every drunk driver thinks they passed the tests with flying colors.
It's almost like the alcohol is affecting their perception, nah that couldn't be they said they were shober.
Xtina other conclusions arrived at: the machine is rigged, the cop is lying or someone six days ago said they were going to get even and so here i am.... there is no logic involved whatsoever.
And they don't think they're drunk.
I know there's an overcrowding issue but putting an aggressive drunk in a cell with others is just a recipe for chaos.
It's all about the views and ratings. Cops creating their own chaos. Government does it too but for different reasons. Mostly to waste tax dollars and get bought off by the wealthy more frequently.
I really love Officer Bull he is calm, and he is a very nice guy. He doesn't get mad too easily, and I just love his personality, and he is a very good-looking guy

Just one look in those eye's shows you he's unbalanced , and should not be put in with some one else who they already know is drunk .. Yeah I bet they do it on purpose from time to time for something to do .. smh there's never a shortage on solitary cells so use them for people on drugs that aren't well .

When you see the effects that hard drugs have on people it just re-enforces the notion that drug dealing should carry either a life sentence or the death penalty.

Looks like the guy that was beat up has a great reason to file a lawsuit. They are responsible for the safety and well being of each inmate. Knowingly placing someone in danger like that definitely goes against that. I would have complained of every body pain possible if I was the dude beat up. My neck, back, and even pinky finger would have been in massive pain🤣
Yeah….no. My brother was placed into a cell with a known violent, schizophrenic offender who also had a CANE! He beat him to bad he had to have a plate put into his face. My brother was in for freaking tickets and had a little weed on him and dude almost killed him. We called the jail. They have a “victims fund”, but good luck with that. That happened in January. It’s too late for the jail to do anything, now, though.
My brother was killed in a car wreck on June 7th on his way to work.

Every individual comes through booking, gets treated the way they act , some you need to be strict , and some you need to be more understanding, each individual has their own issues, for a CO you have to be alert at all times, but still treat everyone humane.
You put 2 inmates together in one cell what can possibly go wrong come on law enforcement use common sense. Do these law people have very low IQ ?
Do you imagine jails have one cell for each inmate anywhere in the system, let alone booking?

The drunk in Florida need to grow up, and that was over 15 years ago. I do hope hes sober now and shown more maturity.
The last one is not justice. No justice is served by arresting a caller for a petty personal drug infraction when they're the victim of a real crime (robbery). What's the lesson, don't call the cops on the criminals because they'll find something on you instead? That cop looked lazy, bullied a vulnerable person, and became just as bad as the robbers.

Ah the infamous citizen "Should", well known amount law enforcement for it's endless demands with no need to actually try to get those results. No different from a toddler screaming, "I want!"
So there's an open cell literally right next door to the cell that you put two people in. And one of those people is on meth and has already demonstrated erratic behavior. He could have killed that other guy who was just drunk.
They know exactly who they are housing together. That should be actionable against the jailers

I was under the impression that one of the rights read to someone who is arrested is that they had the right to an attorney. Yet when the one guy asked for his attorney's number out of his phone he was denied it and told no more silliness with asking questions. Then he said asking for my attorney's number is silliness and he was told yes. He was outright denied his right to his attorney.
