Omg its soo true. As s hearing aid person with the brilliant nadia Q70B i found it difficult to hear. Even with using my blutooth function. Anyone else here with hearing aids?

For the 24-25 season, the #1 priority for the Toronto Maple Leafs has to be, HAS TO BE, some actual goddamn microphones for their press conferences.

That’s why they moved it from Thursday, less media attention over the weekend.
Last year, the Jays did not make their end-of-season pressers available to watch in full, unlike every other year with Shapiro/Atkins. The only way you could have seen it was by watching it live 😭

MLSE has the gaul to charge $300+ dollars PER TICKET to watch them and they give us this product in return (on-ice and off-ice). Shows how out of touch this whole organization is. Someone is getting fired over the mic situation. How can you not test it beforehand?
"There are two reasons why Keefe wasn’t fired until now: It’s because:
(a) Brendan Shanahan, as we’re finding out, doesn’t like to admit he’s wrong; and (b) Shanahan knows how to save a scapegoat.
Shanahan certainly didn’t get to be 10 years into his tenure as Maple Leafs president by acknowledging his failings to his bosses. Which is why, after years of insisting Toronto can win with its infamous Core Four, the Core Four remains. Which is why Shanahan neglected to fire Keefe after any one of the above-listed playoff failures and last year approved a two-year guaranteed extension for Keefe that has yet to kick in.
Imagine, the Leafs paying somebody not to do his job. As one industry insider put it Thursday: “They’ve been doing that with Shanahan for years.”

Maybe Matt Murray if we resign him on a short-term deal and see how he does. If he does well and wants to stay, we do a long-term deal on him with Woll as backup.
If Murray doesn't want to stay (his contract is expiring), then management needs to invest in Woll being the starter (but he's young and very injury prone). So we'd need to be on the look-out this summer for a goaltender.
This is the life of a sports fan, especially an NHL team. They can do everything right(not saying they have here) and it's still so hard to win. I'll keep cheering on the Leafs no matter what they do, because I'm fanatical.
