- A woman arrested for public intoxication is put in a cell for disturbing other inmates. A woman who claims she was assaulted may have been the person assaulting others. A man with no arms is brought in for illegally growing marijuana plants.

I seriously can't believe they handcuffed a disabled man with no hands. He was polite and very sincere. This actually made me sick to watch. That man was very cooperative and handled this situation very well. Some cops have no shame. He was no threat to them at all and complied. I'm gonna stop watching this show. Somehow it feels staged like the cops are just acting for the cameras.
What else is he gonna do with his life? Writing? Gymnastics?

I always astounds me how the domestic abusers always rewrite the story where they aren't the aggressors, then you talk to the cop and they explain what REALLY happened and they still don't admit to the truth. It always blows my mind.
And that makes it harder for DV survivors to heal.
The abusers never apologize. And they try to make people believe that we are the crazy ones.

It's horrific. I got out after three years, but they found his second wife beaten into vegetative state. She died years later never remembering her kids' names. And they didn't find enough proof to charge him. RIP.
It’s sad like with Gabby Petito the cop sided with the psycho she was with….had they believed her and put him in jail a few days, it may have saved her life.

I agree with with you. People in California get away with that stuff all the time and most of them have legal cards to do so. I have a shop down the street from me and it's all medical stuff and legal to have a shop and sell it to people with cards. It's perfectly legal in California as long as you have a card with you and you're not driving. Those cards are used for health reasons especially for older people who need it.

Dayum I did NOT think that lady was 36! I'm only 2 yrs younger than her and I still get carded. I thought for sure she was atleast mid 40s. I actually didn't think she was "entertaining" either. I just think it's sad. Alcoholism and mental illness are my guesses. I just kept thinking about her family and what happened to her to get her here. I hope she gets the help she needs. Vegas is like the Florida of the West.
Alcoholism brings out an array of awful behaviors. And it never gets better - unless the person stops drinking. But there are ways to recover. (I'm one of the grateful ones.)
She did have mental and alcohol issues. That was my aunt who passed away more than 10 years ago. We tried to help her but she ran away and hitchhiked from Mass to Vegas. It’s alarming to be scrolling through RUclips and she my aunts face

It's nice to see DV against men is finally starting to be taken a bit more seriously than it used to be. It wasn't that long ago that few cared about male victims dealing with this kind of thing. There's probably still a ton of police departments out there who go on a call and arrest the male half of a couple anyway. I saw first hand how my friend got treated when he tried to get help and it showed me how completely disposable men are seen as by a huge chunk of society. The dude is still covered in scars and burns to this day but that's not evidence enough apparently.
Just want to point out in case you did not know the show was filmed likely 10+ years ago, but I think your point is still valid.

I appreciate the effort shown in this propaganda too, it's nice to see cops acting like they respect people. But arresting people for jaywalking and plants isn't what I would consider "good work". Would be cool if they sought out criminals with actual victims, instead of filling the worlds largest prison state(literally), with people like this. I know they have to fund their expansion, gotta have more cops next years too, gotta justify their existence, but I'd rather they catch 1 bad guy, than arrest 50 people for crossing the road or growing plants without government permission. I'm not sure when this was filmed though, maybe it was still illegal to own in NV at the time, but it doesn't change anything. Such a waste of money and resources. Not to mention just morally, objectively, wrong.
