I honestly cannot understand the ppl who have nothing but hate , showing up on these podcasts that they don’t like and commenting and showing their immaturity and ignorance. I’m guessing they have no idea that just by , not only following you , watching your podcasts and then commenting Is adding to your numbers , helping to support you etc. 😁 You handle it well , By not acknowledging them at all is priceless .

On cases that are "too old".... since there wouldn't be much info on them, you could just make a video mash up of the short, old cases. That way you can at least maybe get a photo and basic known info circulating. ❤ love what you're doing

My husband did 22 years in the USMC and got promoted really quickly his first five years. Many guys did not like his rank at his age so he spent several years of his 20s after that either avoiding any discussion of his age or insinuating that he was in his 30s … 😂
I love watching you because you remind me of my husband so much. We lost him in 2021 to a heart attack at only 45. He was my best friend since we were teens, amazing husband and such a great dad. He taught his kids to be safe in the world also. He was such good man. You remind me of him.
Derrick, thx for doing the live even though I personally didn’t catch it live. Thx for being transparent. You are a very busy guy and everyone should respect your privacy; you are only one person! You always care about the cases that you cover. I retired 10 years ago at age 60 from the Fed. Gov’t. Time flies by! Of course I saw you on Big Brother & Breaking Homicide. 2014 was a crazy, difficult year for me. I went through chemo in 2015 & my husband passed away in early 2017. I have 2 adult children. I have been in Unfound since Jan. 2019 & have learned so much about disappearance cases. I always enjoy your thoughts on the cases covered on Detective Perspective & how my thoughts compare to yours. All the best to you & your family! ❤️

I know it already has a ton of coverage (good & bad) and is pretty controversial at the moment, but it would be interesting to hear a retired officer’s perspective of the investigation (or lack thereof imo) and the first trial.
