Miles has a little chat with Ben about who he works for and how he has been trying to find Ben, but he could lie and say that he is dead for 3.2 Million dollars.
I always found it hilarious that Ben is literally locked in a basement on an uncharted island and when asked to come up with 3.2 million dollars in one week is just like “Sure ok.”
Huh, it's the alternate ending for Saw 1 we never knew we needed.
I love Ben's eyes. They are wonderful.
Ben (Michael Emerson) and Miles (Ken Leung) were both on Saw 1 and died.
"My present situation is a little bit restricted. Can that be amended?"
“It’s extortion if you wanna be technical.”
“3.2 - ? Why not 3.3 or 3.4?”
Miles: "So now I've found you, and I can tell him exactly where you are. Or I can lie and tell him you are already dead, I'd be willing to do that for 3,2 million dollars."
Ben: "You've arranged this meating so you can blackmail me?"
Miles: "It's an extortion, if you wanna get technical."
Ben: "3,2? Why not 3,3 or 3,4?"
Somewhere after watching this episode a few years back, probably in the DVD comments, I heard that we would later be explained why Miles wanted 3,2, and not 3,3 or 3,4. The answer seemed to be that Miles were offered 1,6 million dollars to find Ben. And he probably wanted double payment from Ben to «look the other way». Still, this raises the question: Why were Miles offered 1,6 million dollars to begin with? Why not 1,5 or 1,7?
because if he were offered 1.5 or 1.7, the same question would be raised for 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, etc. So for convenience sake, 1.6 was picked!
16 is one of the numbers 🤷
so is 15. so why isn't it 1.5 million?
Because in of the deleted scene Miles is offered 800k by one his clients to find a location of a treasure from a dead body.
They were a team of 5...só maybe 1,6 vs 5= 8 millions

3.2 million dollars got my mate and me cracking up on the couch. That moment built up was so intense and Miles comes up with just demanding more money and that random sum xD that was funny as hell and we were blazed as fuck of course 😎

@@canadian128 yea we are indeed. meeting-up got rare, sideffect of growing up I guess, but when we find the time it's like back in the days, playing videogames, watching LOST..and, of course, getting blazed 😅

@platnium1811 Because charles widmore was payin miles 1.6million to come to the island on the freighter. When miles got kidnapped by those men in the van, miles says 'i wont go to the island if u pay me 3.2million dollars, which is twice the amout that charles widmore would pay him to go to the island.
So he wants the 3.2milliom from ben now.
