Was shocked when I saw the album cover because the backdrop is Berkeley House in Northampton, which is a old run-down block that my friend lives in.

One of my favourite things about this album is the fusion of Grime and Hip Hop. It's so smooth and for two genres that are so different in their instrumentals, he did a really good job.

Met slowthai after a concert , he was so down to earth just chilled with us having a smoke , he talked about working hard and how are perfections make us who we are , he defiantly hasn't forgot his roots.
The bonus cuts let it be known are older material, the album for me gets 10/10 content fits our British lifestyle and like you said traumas😕 he’s a young lad that’s been through a lot and his story is repeated all over the country. Loads of good lads slip through the cracks but Thai come out shining 🤩 ✊🏼🤘🏼

When I first listened to this, I was like WTF at the opening track. But I sat and immersed myself into his sound and came out very pleased with this record.
Please review Skeptas new album ; ‘Ignorance is bliss’. Nearly every song on the album shows different genres from the UK music scene (Garage, Grime, UK hip-hop etc.) The mans just a genius and knows how to represent the scene 🖤

I found a lot of similarities between this and good kid, m.A.A.d city in that it both appeals to the mainstream sounds of the genre coming out of the country on some songs AND uses less conventional instrumentals for its genre on others, as well as the critical perspective of where the artist has grown up, & the samples of people talking between many of the tracks (at the beginning or end; a thematic tie?). 3rd favourite album of the year so far tho.
Thank god this video came out. For a while I thought I wasn’t gonna be able to have an opinion on it. Thanks melon.
