I mean, I kind of agree, not having clear flaws makes an excellent album, but pushing a genre is for me what a 10 is. (Such as TPAB which I genuinely believe is a perfect 10 album).

KSG had extremely futuristic production and the grungy attitude was perfected from all of cudi's failed experiments. If you think the industrial, noisy sounds and glitchy production on TMS, the 30 minute songs on TBK, or the despondent and shrill no wave on YWGWYW doesn't constitute "boundary pushing" I can't really understand.

I like how casual we all are about this when this could potentially be the AOTY as it has the current highest score of the year (Xiu Xiu was a light 9)
Been watching TND since 2011 and this is one of my favorite reviews yet--went and immediately listened to the album front-to-back 3 times today after watching. Hoping this video turns a ton of people on to easily the most underrated hip hop artist right now. In a year with a ton of anticipated big releases coming up, I can still confidently that this Little Simz record will be one of the best of 2019.

Fully expected this score. I have been singing this album's praises since the moment I heard it. Trying to hip as many people to it as humanly possible. Simz deserves all the love she's getting for this project. Hard to beat for AotY.
I wouldn't be surprised if SIMBI doesn't get a 10, but we'll see. I felt like Grey Area was more on point and the sound here doesn't always compliment her. Anyway, definitely hope this album brings her more success.

Brilliant album. One of my favourites that I brought last year. Little Simz is a triple threat. As well as being a great rapper Little Simz is a good actor. She rocked in Top Boy. Plus she's very easy to look at. Grey Area is the first album of hers I brought, I will be buying more of her music for sure.
