It's literally the sound of a band trying to sound "indie" but comes off as pretentious and bland at the same time.
Gotta agree Thrice is pretty good. Deftones is good too IF YOU'RE TONE DEAF!
Hot take, Artist in the Ambulance is extremely overrated, literally every other Thrice album other than Identity Crisis is better.
@@nonzerovolta2541 that *is* a hot take. Palms is really weak
"Bro the Maroon 5?" Best part of the video lmao
Someone put The Caretaker's Everywhere at the End of Time on their list....
I can't explain the hurt I felt listening to that record.
Top 10 albums oat for me, sht absolutely destroyed me
Best albums of all time: Blue Album, Pinkerton, Green Album, Maladroit, Make Believe, Red Album, Raditude, Hurley, Death to False Metal, EWBAITE, White Album, Pacific Daydream, Black Album
Objectively correct
massive props to the person with f(x), red velvet, 9muses and wonder girls damn
also the other one with twice and pre-debut loona
they got taste!! and bravery
pink tape is amazing
now that you mention The Fall of Troy i got reminded of their 2020 album, it is pretty sick tbh didn't expect them to put out anything as good again at all
it's definitely a different flavor, but I was pleasantly surprised what they came up with.
7:52 tell me you grew up in Australia in the 90’s without telling me it
" White Pony is great "
See, guys? He loves Deftones!
People only think he doesn't because of his hot take on Diamond Eyes and his admittedly dogshit review of Ohms but he actually praised ATF, WP and surprisingly Saturday Night Wrist in his Koi No Yokan review. I was giddy when he praised SNW because that's my favorite Deftones album and not even Deftones fans are in my corner on that one lol
@@christianryan9989 SNW is super underrated, arguably their best stuff
I don't trust people who glorify white pony. They are usually the ones who find a way to preach why nu-metal was bad.
@@christianryan9989 Bro Saturday Night Wrist is absolutely killer and top-tier Deftones in my book. It just didn't really have "singles" and I think Deftones fans struggled with that. I'm convinced Fantano listened to Ohms once, while a podcast was playing.
The. Fucking best got me through my teens.
Honestly very fun segment, would love to see another one. That Linux joke at the end made me laugh a lot for some reason, didn't expect it.
Why you gotta diss fall of troy like that :’(
yeah that super offended me
@@samherlin2858 I have no idea what people are talking about when they shit on the production on that album, it sounds fine to me
Frrr
@@mavisevelyn618 as difficult as it may seem, every body got their own ears. It's just opinions my guy, keep enjoying your stuff.
That shit HURTED
Me: “hm, the only one I know is Fall of Troy. Pretty good, pretty fun record”
Anthony: 2:42
I still listen that The Fall of Troy like everyday :(
Damn Rusty, ya got rust in ya ears?
it's great
They’re great, production can be easily overlooked if the songs are great
@@okaight7248 I agree, I couldn’t imagine the album with “good” production anyways, it would take away from the raw energy of all the songs.
Rusty if doppelgänger was produced like their self-titled itd be 100x better
I saw f(x)’s 4 Walls and Wonder Girls’ REBOOT in one!!! LOVE IT. You have my praise for good KPOP album taste.
Yes! Those albums are kpop classics 👌
Big respect for the person who put The Seldom Seen Kid in their top line. Elbow are arguably the most underrated British band
It makes me sad sometimes how highly rated Black Parade is by almost everyone but no-one seems to have even heard of I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love
I brought you my bullets is a fantastic album and has some great songs on it, same with three cheers. My favorite individual songs are probably off of those two but as a record I think Black Parade is their best album in terms of composition, Cohesion, themes and aesthetics.
Marina goes unnoticed by the melon once again
No bass intro? :0
Iss not a let's argue... but still, i know :'((
@@samyrandome425 Yeah, after making this comment I realized he only does it for the let’s argue videos
Dude at 7:06 had the balls to listen to and have a Taylor Swift album and a Kanye West album in his top lmao
alter bridge is the most underrated band ever, everyone sees them as creed 2.0. But they are bizarrely incredible
Alter Bridge is Creed but without Shitt Shatt
Alter bridge is creed but good
@@anonymous01201 yeah basically
