The day I discovered the truth everything about my hair change , chopped my years of relaxed hair and started my natural hair . I asked my self why I didn’t know this truth all this while: thanks for inspiring us to embrace our true identity.
Well it’s obvious your hair doesn’t stop you from sleeping. You look well rested to me. Sometimes I wonder if people are asking those questions because they really want to know or are they being high key shady. You handle your hair as if it’s a blessing, it’s clearly not a burden to you.
That perception is weird on the contrary the long thick hair extensions most women add to their hair is heavy. Personally i enjoy my thick long hair at 48 years and my hair is flourishing.
Thank you for another beautiful and inspiring video!! I’m always attracted to your energy and your thoughts about natural hair. My hair is nowhere near your length (yet 😊) but I’ve adapted to texture acceptance relatively quickly, and I’m at a place in my life where my hair is just part of my lifestyle. I love my hair, routine, and seeing my progress over time. Please keep up these awesome videos! Your kind words of wisdom are much needed here on RUclips.
Your hair is my inspiration and you are my role model on Natural Hair any day, anytime. I like how you impact knowledge in all your videos. I'm 8months into the 1year no extension hair challenge and everyone around me can testify that my hair is doing better than before. I just want to say, thank you, ma.
Hello, you are right about helping our black girls. I wish I had known better I would have never relaxed my hair. I started relaxing my hair at age 15 and didn't stop until I was age 52. I begged my mother to purchase the relaxer. My scalp was burned so many times from the chemical being left on too long. The damage I did to my scalp and hair.
@@loisevora2717 And there are so many like you and I who regret relaxing our hairs... especially my first daughter...I so much regret putting relaxer on my baby's hair. But I learnt. There is no need to regret at all... that's why we should catch them young. Thank you for sharing!
I hope that comment didn’t come from our fellow black sisters. Our hair is something special gifted to us by the living God and his hair also like pure wool. Love your hair and that’s what I call good hair because it’s healthy thick and beautiful.
I have learned to care for and embrace my hair. The only problem I have is staying out of my head. I love to touch my hair and I thank God for every strand❤❤❤❤❤ty for the video
You are a joy and inspiration to hear and listen to ! Truly a godmother ❤ I have 3c curls and am of mixed heritage. And while my hair has always been my identity, it has always been short as I didn't know how to listen and care for its unique texture. Your channel , your energy and positive affirmations have put me on the right path of acceptance and given me courage to love and care for my hair at any length. I look forward to growing out my hair and to discover it's true potential. And also love the journey it's on. I have been using herbs and making my own oils and pre poos as well. Mama, can you please share a recipe of curl butter for your family who has no access to your products? I really appreciate your effort to build the channel and bring us this uplifting content❤❤❤❤ Love from india
I get asked this question a lot too, but the people who ask this question are accustomed to wigs, weaves and extensions. So ever so often you have to explain that your body, your neck, your head adopts to the hair God allows to grow from your head, and it takes time because your hair doesn't become dense and long overnight. On the other hand you are bound to have a headache and neck pains if you suddenly instal a bunch of hair you bought on your head because your neck and head are suddenly put under a lot of pressure. It's different. Then I get asked if it isn't difficult to deal with my natural hair. But the people who ask that question do not realize that we have to handle our hair differently, we can't take care of our hair like someone with straight hair or those with very loose curl pattern. 😂
Your hair is beautiful and thank you for inspiring me to embrace my natural hair that was given to me by the Natural Organic Divine Source Creator and Mother Earth. Peace & Prosperity be with you and your family!!!

@@nelicilo6047 First you need to know the cause of the scalp issue you have..as you've had it for a long time. See a dermatologist or a tricologist....so it'll be diagnosed. Treatment options will also be suggested to you...if the follicles in the affected areas are still alive, you stand a chance to grow the hair.
Projection at its finest. They think their struggles are everyone’s struggles or that textured hair care would be cumbersome overall simply because they aren’t used to it. We’re not all traumatized by changing our hair care routine and perspective of beauty smh.
You basically only need a shampoo conditioner and moisturizer. You can buy drugstore cheaper products like suave, vo5, African pride tresemme.Your product don’t have to be expensive to work well. Also you can utilize items in your kitchen and foods for hair health such as oils, bananas flaxseed, rice. Make treatment mask with these once or twice a month and continue with your moisturizing products. Hope this helps.
