This is beautiful. Not once did you refer to your hair as more “vulnerable, prone to damage, or weaker” than other nationalities of women. Nor say that it is too “hard” to do. I as a black woman really appreciate this. I feel we as African women no matter where we are in the world should truly do due diligence to grow and preserve our natural hair texture. We don’t need any one else’s hair texture on our head to feel more professional, at ease, nor beautiful. God created our crowns for us to carry them proudly not complain about them.
Thank You so Much. Your hair is beautiful . I’m excited to hear what ingredients you use and advise you give. My hair is very soft and thin. Seems to be getting thinner as I age. Could really use your advice and remedies. This is my first time tuning in. Will subscribe
it is so sad that many Africans never learnt to take care of their hair, never learnt what products is right to use and never learnt the right way to comb out the hair without hurting the head or hair because they use the same strategies that people with straighter hair types do hence causing frustration. what you've created i so wonderful♥
Because of so many reasons. 1) In school our hair was distracting if it was an afro. 2) Natural hair products were non existent. 3) When we eventually had natural hair products they are so expensive -Shea Moisture is almost R1000. 4) relax is cheaper and better to maintain even though damaging.
Oh it looks so gorgeous!!!! I love it! I'm a Black American woman with dreads. My dreads, no lie are almost 50 inches long and very healthy. I make my own hair tonics in my kitchen as well. Products can help but Black coily kinky hair needs "real food" love. So yes you are %100 right! Todays hair products are okay and helpful, but make no mistake, Black hair still needs real food! Never forget this. You look beautiful!!!!! Great video!!!!!
For her hair to be like this, she was not eating junk, she was on a strick diet of eating only healthy. That’s what people overlook, your hair will never thrive without providing your body with needed nutrients.
What most people forget is that it's not all about what you apply on your hair (the outside).... It's infact mainly about what we put on our bodies (on the inside)....Hence the "Inside-Out" Tactics that I swear by!
Your hair looks like thick soft black cotton ropes! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️It’s AMAZING to see our texture grow out to great lengths but being accused that our hair type don’t grow! I appreciate you sharing your hair care! It’s the most gorgeous hair I have seen because it’s HEALTHY short or long. Long shows hard work, dedication, and knowledge of your hair care.
You are an inspiration and proof that black women can grow thick long hair....please don't stop making RUclips videos I didn't even know you were available on RUclips I only know you from Instagram ❤
My hair grows easily but 😊 I leave it alone. I was never one of those girls who constantly style, dye, press. I prefer locs which I cut back to about 4 inches every 4 years. This time I'm 62 and the hair feels heavy. My arms get tired on wash day so the next cut will probably be maintained. You're still young enough to not find it as labor. Just beautiful.
If you are West African or a descendant of West Africans anywhere in the world, this is your heritage too and you dont have to break the bank for it. You can totally get to this lenght or something close to it if you are dedicated. I went from shoulder lenght to lower back lenght by 1. Washing and detangling every 2 weeks (Even if you dont wash make sure you detangle). It helps to prevent tangles from building up and causing breakage, thereby helping you retain length. 2. Scalp massages with rosemary oil. This helps to encourage new growth. 3. Keep your hair in twists and leave it alone. Just add these 3 additional things to your routine, and you will notice improvements.
I love the feel of my natural hair too.... when my new growth grows in .. I find myself just feeling it and falling in love with it all over again ❤... I was scared to go natural when natural wasn't as big as it is now.... in 2011 around there... and I was nervous but I knew I didn't want to perm my hair any more. And thank God i did follow through with this natural journey...I haven't looked back since... I love my hair!! I don't even straighten it.
That's wonderful. I love when I hear people say that. But like when she said they saw her kids at school. I love seeing people's especially kids hair like that. You do it Sunday for school it stay look great all week. I never believe in relaxer. My mom put that in my hair from about 10 yrs and funny thing my father is Asian so I never needed that. As and adult I wanted straight hair I wash it put it in rollers. More than 30 plus yrs I stop using relaxers and I'm 50. I didn't even like hair as a woman I cut it every Friday
This is inspiring. I live in Senegal and I have a neighbor whose hair is so unkept and matted. It looks like she either doesn't know what to do with it, or she just gave up. I'm not a "hair person" but this is inspiring me to assist her and engage her in the care of her own hair. I'm sure it will prove beneficial for her and maybe even lucrative when the other neighbors see how her hair begins to grow. Thank you for this.
Glad you find it inspiring.... that's the whole essence. I hope you go through with the thoughts you are having to assist her... you'll be making a whole lot of difference in her life. Love and Light 🙏🏾
Sis, your hair and it's texture is soooo glorious! I believe in my spirit that your hair texture and length is what The Most High YAH gave mother Eve in the garden, and this is the hair we are supposed to have! But we have been colonized to destroy our hair, so all we can do now is love our completely unique hair, stop trying so many styles and youtube techniques, and let it grow how it was created to grow, and buy your products! Wow...beautiful hair and styles you do!
I co-sign with every word!! The more we love and embrace our hair, it will resort back to Mother Eve. We are the original. Our hair has been weaponized against us. Our hair is powerful.
You're absolutely correct, we were trained to hate our natural hair. When our foreparents started applying heat & chemicals straighteners to it. Having it to look like others cultures to feel excepted. Now proven that chemical straighteners invaded our heath 😮😢.. now there's lawsuits pending, because they were found to cause cancer.
It is women like you who have influenced and taught me how to take care of my hair. Thank you so much for sharing your secret in this video. You are beautiful and kind for sharing your tips. The length of your hair is my hair goal. Thank you very much for sharing
Thank you Sister for your story!! I did the big chop too when I flew as Crew for Northwest, then United airline. 4C hair. It was just too hard to get home for a touchup & my hair was so dry in its relaxed state. After the Airlines, I began braiding/twisting my own hair again. I did not get much support from Black American women; they thought I was crazy to first cut all my hair off, and 2nd to wear it nappy/curly! So, I turned to African/Caribbean/Black men with shoulder length or longer natural hair for advise. It was beautiful how they shared how to keep my roots & ends moisturized. Recommended Creme of Nature for past the roots & ends plus a good detangling brush or pic. And avocado, grapeseed, almond or peppermint oils for the scalp. After 4 years, my hair is mid-back. It takes time to see what works for your hair, but it is SO very worth it!! No bald spots, no crack cream, no 3 sources of heat (blow dryer, flatiron then curling iron), & no long days at the stylist. Just shampoo, condition, apply a little oil at scalp & curl definer creme, comb thru hair & twist or braid up. Wear style for 3 or 4 days then let down when dry and fluff hair. Full, healthy & beautiful!!
When you say you didn't get much support from AA wm do you mean support in the way of embracing your natural hair? Are you speaking of support as far as recommendations on hairstyles and products? If this happened during your Northwest days, black flight Attendant weren't really wearing their hair natural back then. I flew back then, too, and very few black women attendants dared to wear braids back then. Thankfully, things have changed, and we can wear more natural styles in uniform and just wear them in our daily life without too much fuss. Also, the word "nappy" is not only dated but kind of derogatory from someone outside of the AA community. I don't even use that word anymore, and I'm "in" the community. Coily, curly, and even the less desirable word "kinky" are all words that can describe our 4C hair (even 4C is becoming more controversial to some these days). I guess I won't go into how I cringe when anyone uses the word "crack" cream. Smh As if it's a joke when in actuality it upended generations of AA families. Crack brought in to our neighborhoods by our own government. Iran contra affair. Funny that Fentanyl is never joked about. 🤔 it's never funny or amusing when AA ppl reference "crack" as a joke and certainly not funny when non AA ppl say it.
I am so glad (😊) that I have ran across your video on how you grew (and still growing) your Natural beautiful hair. I feel like we as black female should go Natural due to having strong, healthy, growth of hair and how to take care of it. We also need to know the do's and don't of our hair and also know what our hair love and will take. Thanks so much. ❤. Keep making these videos and encouraging us. Bless you my sister in Christ.

Beautiful. My hair is the same length but I have micro locs. We have so many options as women with Afro textured hair. Our hair is beautiful and can grow long too.
Thank you for your help on natural hair, mine is grey I'm trusting to grow it naturally too you're my inspiration Jo from Ghana Thank God for your Grace
It was a movie that motivated me to start keeping my God given hair texture, l can't even remember the movie name but all i can say is God bless the producers for letting me know the value of my virgin hair and i so much treasure my hair. I pray it grows longer like yours. Amen
You got me smiling throughout the whole video because I know your story is as true and as real as it gets... You are an inspiration Fairy Fro Godmother ❤
How do you keep your hair from thinning while in braids? I stay in knotless braids most of the time. I moisturize, use homemade natural sprays daily, but i still feel like my hair is thin and not necessarily growing.. not sure what im doing wrong
I woke up this morning and you was the first video I saw and the heading made me want to look further but I have been having issues with growing my hair after relaxing so I cut my hair as well 6 years ago started with locks and cut them 3 years ago cause of thinning and I’m trying my best to get a thickness but but I’m starting to give up cause I don’t have a length and the thinning is not getting better. I have tried everything possible but I’m about to start following you hopefully you can help me get this hair journey right. Thank you for coming up here cause it’s a lot of people who needs and looking for help❤
❤ Thank you for your beautiful but challenging experience. I am mixed race and have kinky fine sensitive hair which I have battling with all my life😢 as my mum didn’t really know how to look after and I ended up putting all kind of relaxer on it. Your experience and resilience has totally inspired me to try my best going natural .
This is true. Ever since I started to research about African hair,I realized that the heat, braids were all destroying my hair bcz the weight was causing too much tension on my hair. So I completely stopped braiding and straightening my hair. I started using the natural stuff and shampoo friendly to natural hair that had no sulphates. I only shampoo my hair once a month but I wet it with water atleast every night and put on some big twists and take them down the next morning if i have to. I make sure my hair is very well moisturized. And oh yes i drink alot of water everyday. So far my hair is way healthier than bfr and it's growth rate has increased,it's wildly approaching my waist yet it's just two and a half yrs old! I have learnt sthng about herbs from you and I'm going to try it out,who knows,in the coming yrs,God willing, my hair will also be as long as yours! Your hair is so beautiful! I wish all black women would know how to take care of their hair bcz our hair is very beautiful! Thank you so much for this information!
Well SHE is a beautiful African lady but most of us are Amer aboriginals, and not of African blood at all. ( despite media lies) but the tips are rly good and should work for us too..
Sadly, like you I also grew up with relaxed hair and didn't even know how or where to start with natural hair. Didn't even know what my hair type was. I then started with braids on and off for a few months, because I was living in the Middle east and couldn't find any hair products for African texture hair, so I just kept it in braids most of the time. My hair did grow, but braids put a lot of tension on your edges, so I'm still struggling with thin edges. It's true as you said to keep your protective styles simple and not too much tension. Hopefully my edges will grow back, but I'm just happy to finally start to care for my natural hair.
This is my hair goal! I fell in love with my natural hair during the panini and since I wasn’t stepping foot nowhere, I decided to let my relaxer grow out. Little did I know, it’d be my last and I was relaxed since age 14. I transitioned from relaxed to natural 2020-2021 until I couldn’t take no more and hacked my hair off October 2021. Rocking the small fro was a challenge, but it’s been 2 years and still relaxer free! I still use heat when I have to trim my ends, but that’s 1-2 times a year.
💕 please send a hair product that you use in your hair it’s beautiful I’ve got natural hair myself I don’t use any cream or anything in there just natural
Absolutely beautiful! My daughter is growing hers from scratch again also! Shes staying consistent with washing combing moisturizing every 2 days and using the old school hair rollers no heat her hair is growing thick and beautiful its a lot of work but its paying off ill tell you that! Ty for sharing blessings to you! 💖💕
I'm here to stay! The temptation to use other things besides what I was doing led to a 2nd big chop down to 1 inch! I look back at pictures and loved my natural hair. 💞
People! When u have a BABY , ur hair will grow like crazy if u are taking care of it. Hot oil treatments, keeping the ends protected always help. This is what does it. And the consistency, as she said. This is why her hair is so long.
Your hair is so beautiful and lustrous. Whoever said African women can't grow and retain long hair haven't seen this video. I have been keeping relaxed hair for twelve years and it didn't grow pass 12 inches. Although people kept complimenting me and asking what I'm using, I still wasn't satisfied. I did relaxed once a year and stick to one hair cream and two weeks wash routine but I still wasn't satisfied. I did the big chop August of last year and have been on natural and I've never regretted it one bit. I've been making my hair myself once in a while. Just little braids cos I can't make the twists (I'm hoping to learn). I do wash routine once a month cos and I've never added anything except my jimpo Ori cos it makes it soft and gives it a nice smell. But, I'm looking to add mosturixing routine. My natural hair is about 7 inches long now, faster than the growth of my relaxed hair. Your video has encouraged me to have time for my hair 😊. If my hair can double it's growth come next year by God's grace, I'll be thrilled. And I hate drinking water by the way. I don't drink water if I'm not thirsty or eating and I hardly get tasty. I reckon water helps too. So, I'm starting from there.
Am glad you are encouraged...and yes water helps. Am sure you'll achieve your hair goals as long as you stay committed to the process. Stay Blessed Queen🙏🏾
@@floraseldon7893 jimpo is the product's name while Ori is a Yoruba term for Shea butter which is an organic unrefined Shea butter. It's basically a head to toe body cream both for babies and adults.
So lovely to see...I relaxed my hair late teens and after years due to sometimes breakage and so on I no longer relax..I grew out my hair for 9mths and one day I washed my hair was so curly and I decided to let the straight ends go...I was a though decision but I had made up my mind...I encouraged myself during the times when I had 2nd thought...did some research as well and I'm still embracing returning to my natural hair...its all curly and cute....
Very nice long lustrous hair indeed. You are right about extensions and washing hair all the time. Those things dry out our hair. I lost my hair due to bad habits and suffered from alopecia even a few years ago. I did a lot of research about what I was doing wrong and I’ve gradually been able to start regrowing my hair. I’m in my 50’a so it’s slow growth but now I can leave my hair out in mini twists. I share this journey on my channel too 😍

Menopause and stress has caused my hair to get thin in the front. Thanks for sharing your journey and how you achieved hair growth. It gives me hope that I can do the same. Thank you.
I'm loving my hair these days now that I'm retired. I get compliments on how thick and healthy it has become. Love that you are spreading the word. Beautiful hair.
Yes, sis! So much wisdom. Your tips are the true keys to hair success. I cut my hair down from mid-back to top of my shoulders (layered to that at the back) about a year ago when I combed out my locs and have been searching for a new default routine for myself. You are definitely helping me focus on the essentials.
@@AliciaKabah-iz6ij I would say the for growing more strands (greater hair density) a red light therapy device for the head has made the biggest difference. I have sooo many new hairs from when I started that. In terms of keeping the hairs I have longer, saw palmetto, rosemary and peppermint in my scalp oil I believe has been what's made the difference for that. And finally taking collagen supplements has made my hair stronger. For externally applied products, I'm always switching it up.
Your hair is so amazing and beautiful. This came right on time for me. I have been struggling with what to do with my hair. Since learning how chemical relaxers can cause cancer, I decided to stop using them. How can one find the products you use? I like how you include that diet makes a difference and timely washing the hair. Thank you so much for sharing!
This is a God given answer/confirmation to what Yah told me earlier this morning. I asked Yah if it was ok to wash my hair every 2 weeks or 3-4 weeks are my hair seems very happy after 2 weeks.. oddly I have not been feeling well.. I used to wash every week.. but with me not feeling well.. I moisturize and eat and drink healthy and my hair is thriving.THANK YOU!.. for your testimony as I now feel BRAVE enough to feel comfortable not “washing” my hair every week.. but definitely moisturizing/oiling daily as needed. 😊
You are absolutely gorgeous and your hair is so beautiful! I locked my hair in 1999 and it has also grown strong and beautiful. But if I knew my hair could look like yours does now, I probably would not have blocked it. Your story is inspiring. Thank you for sharing. Currently combing my locs out! It would’ve bn 4 years in September. Anyway, my loose natural is soooo long like when I was a child. I’ll admit the comb out process can be tedious but stay diligent &/or get help. It’s a process. I’m almost a week in & still not finished but I’m at the half way mark & am beyond excited! It’s gonna be more than worth it!🫶🏾
Natural has always been beautiful and it is on you. Thank you for taking time out of your day to make this video for people like me. I have been natural for about 10 years. Once I went natural, I would keep my hair cut very very short and colored blonde. For the last couple of years I have been allowing it to grow out and no more colored hair for about a year or so. Now I'm working on keeping it hydrated and healthy. I'm going to look more into the products of Harmony to see how that will help my hair. I do have dry hair. So, I'll work at it and will stay consistent. Thank you. God bless you.
First time subscriber...just came across your channel by chance...what a beautiful African woman! I am so proud of you. I went natural in 2010 because i cant stand chemicals, wigs, weave-ons, extention weaves etc etc, so i have been chopping off my hair almost every year because i couldn't manage the painful curls😢😢. But looking at your hair now i can see its possible to grow it longer and thicker. i think i will try harder now. Thank you wonderful woman😊. You've got me hooked❤
Please do! Black women look much better in their own natural hair. When they grow it long and style it properly say a twist out or braid out, they can stop traffic any day.

Your hair is just beautiful 😍 As a British born Nigerian who actually lived in Nigeria as a Child. I came across Women with so called 4c “nappy” hair, with beautiful waist length hair. This was in the 70s and 80s. Even though I went through the relaxer process like everyone else. I always knew my children will never have a relaxer. My Daughters are now 32 and 33 and have waist length pure Virgin hair. They did the dyeing and even cuttin and pressing but stayed natural. I went natural in 2001 and have been enjoying my 4c hair with my Ndomie curls.

My plan is just like your, I want to grow my hair without braiding of any kind. Literally just grow it out. So, very useful video thats someone has done it. Thank you 😊
tucking in the ends is soooo necessary, I noticed from most of her pictures the ends are tucked away, I only stated taking tucking the ends away seriously after a recent set back 😅 haha we will get there tho! your hair is so full and beautiful!
Im trying to help my daughter who has natural hair grow it long and healthy. Rejecting the regular practices here in the village such as constant blow dry or relaxer. She is six and the hairdressers tell me to dye it and relax it. I REFUSE. She has beautiful healthy dark brown natural hair and i will learn what i need to learn to treat her hair beautifully.
Next time it would be really nice to see the sides and back of this style. I thought about doing loose twists without doing it tight at the roots, but nobody does that 🤷🏾♀️ I like yours from the front, it looks a million times better and looks how I envisioned it would on long hair (like mine). The tighter roots makes the style look ragged imo. I’m redoing mine tonight and keeping my beads. Thank you for this ❤
@@lindsaychrisharmony Thank you for having me ☺️ I’ve been getting TONS of compliments from my students with the change. They love the fluffiness and so do I 😌. I like wearing textured styles at school because I work with many little girls and boys that have very tightly coiled hair with lots and lots of texture. They like seeing these options on adults besides pressed hair, wigs and braids. They want to see what they can look like when they grow up.
@@reneearmstead5116 Loose twists are what I’m currently wearing-the roots just aren’t tighter like what you see in most tutorials. They’re full and fluffy like Ms. Lindsay’s are in the video.
Yes!!, thank you Lindsay for sharing your experience, this is an awesome perspective and answer in caring for hair. Taking ownership, assuming responsibility, and appreciating the beauty of my coils also helps me flourish in other aspects as I see my hair flourishing ( this is hard for some, but one can learn to appreciate the beautiful coils they've got despite people that may throw out ridicule when the hair is especially short). Those who ridicule others for physical attribute are simply projecting their own insecurities, we are all unique, so when someone tries to make fun of my hair, I don't take it personally. I take it as-- the person have a problem with themselves that's not being addressed. I enjoy playing in my well moisturized hair, a struggle I still have is keeping moisture locked in as some products that work makes my hair/ scalp easily smelly, still working on finding a balance.
For a moisturizing spray for my semi-freeform locs, I use a mixture of Rosewater facial mist, aloe vera gel, and glycerin. The aloe vera gel is a natural deodorizer and gives the spray a fresh shampoo-like smell.
I made a conscious choices to go natural a few years ago but it wasn't until mid last year that i went all in. Haven't blowdried my hair since. I do braid it to make it managable as it was pretty short and damaged. But i do the braiding myself (you can check my videos to see my braiding). I had no prior braiding knowledge when i started. Av been learning on my own head. The braids on my profile was also done by myself. Im enjoying it to frank. My scalp had gotten so sensitive and since i started managing my own hair, I'm pain free. I hope one day ill be able to tell my story and inspire someone. Thanks for spreading the much needed awareness for every girl (especially black girl) out there to hear and witness
Seeing your daughter’s hair proves a theory I’ve had for quite some time… genetics plays a HUGE role in what our hair is capable of. The rest is about learning our own individual hair and what’s best for it. That will differ from person to person to get the best result but unless someone has similar genetics to you, they will not end up with hair as long and thick as yours.
I agree, though what she mentioned about what she eats and drinks I feel is very important as well. I noticed that with my hair journey. The more I took in consideration about what I ate it really showed in my hair and nails
Her hair is thick and beautiful but let's be honest not every black woman is going to have the same hair texture to grow thick and full like hers why because of genetics... even white or Asian girls have this same issue some of these women complain of having thin, finer or coarse hair while admiring the women in their race with the genes that will create thick and full hair. Im African and my hair has always been thin not thick but I prefer microlocs because my texture suits that style more due to my genetics.
I’m glad for your advice. I have experienced hair loss due to stress induced alopecia. The only thing I have been certain of is I wasn’t willing to braid my hair. I am trying to get a routine that works for my life that won’t make me feel frustrated. Hopefully I can grow a head of hair half as thick and lustrous as yours.

I went from shoulder lenght to lower back lenght by
Thank you 🥰

Sis, your hair and it's texture is soooo glorious! I believe in my spirit that your hair texture and length is what The Most High YAH gave mother Eve in the garden, and this is the hair we are supposed to have! But we have been colonized to destroy our hair, so all we can do now is love our completely unique hair, stop trying so many styles and youtube techniques, and let it grow how it was created to grow, and buy your products! Wow...beautiful hair and styles you do!

I def agree to that. Beautiful. Now that is what you call good hair right there.
I co-sign with every word!! The more we love and embrace our hair, it will resort back to Mother Eve. We are the original. Our hair has been weaponized against us. Our hair is powerful.
@@rockixtheawakening absolutely
You're absolutely correct, we were trained to hate our natural hair. When our foreparents started applying heat & chemicals straighteners to it. Having it to look like others cultures to feel excepted. Now proven that chemical straighteners invaded our heath 😮😢.. now there's lawsuits pending, because they were found to cause cancer.
It is women like you who have influenced and taught me how to take care of my hair. Thank you so much for sharing your secret in this video. You are beautiful and kind for sharing your tips. The length of your hair is my hair goal. Thank you very much for sharing
You are welcome 😊

Braids with hair extensions can work brilliantly as a long term protective style as long as you don't neglect them. They worked for me
How do you keep your hair from thinning while in braids?
Oh great...well done 😊

What does jimpo ori cos means in English?

Next time it would be really nice to see the sides and back of this style. I thought about doing loose twists without doing it tight at the roots, but nobody does that 🤷🏾♀️ I like yours from the front, it looks a million times better and looks how I envisioned it would on long hair (like mine). Thank you for having me ☺️ I’ve been getting TONS of compliments from my students with the change. They love the fluffiness and so do I 😌. I like wearing textured styles at school because I work with many little girls and boys that have very tightly coiled hair with lots and lots of texture. They like seeing these options on adults besides pressed hair, wigs and braids. They want to see what they can look like when they grow up.
If you were to do loose twist, I guarantee it would catch on. Set the trend

Loose twists are what I’m currently wearing-the roots just aren’t tighter like what you see in most tutorials.
Thank you for being here. You are doing well for your hair.. keep it up
I’ve been natural for 22 years and locked for 20❤
For a moisturizing spray for my semi-freeform locs, I use a mixture of Rosewater facial mist, aloe vera gel, and glycerin.
Your hair is out of this world! Wow!!
I haven't braided hair in a long time. Because of that I comb and style my hair daily. Is that too much manipulation? Will this cause more hair loss?
That Nigerian gene is amazing ❤❤. Asa you too fine abeg. Thanks for sharing
Thank you Donna...see me smiling 😊❤️❤️❤️
Seeing your daughter’s hair proves a theory I’ve had for quite some time… genetics plays a HUGE role in what our hair is capable of. The rest is about learning our own individual hair and what’s best for it. That will differ from person to person to get the best result but unless someone has similar genetics to you, they will not end up with hair as long and thick as yours.
Exactly
I agree, though what she mentioned about what she eats and drinks I feel is very important as well. I noticed that with my hair journey. The more I took in consideration about what I ate it really showed in my hair and nails
Absolutely
Exactly…we all not going to grow the same height no matter how many vegetables or fruits we eat; genetics is the main factor.
Sister your hair is more than beautiful, please share with us everything you do so that we also put it to practise..peace ,love, joy.
Thank you so much...I sure will ❤️
I wonder how often she re braid her hair?
I’m glad for your advice. I have experienced hair loss due to stress induced alopecia. The only thing I have been certain of is I wasn’t willing to braid my hair. I am trying to get a routine that works for my life that won’t make me feel frustrated. Hopefully I can grow a head of hair half as thick and lustrous as yours.
Wow your hair is so lovely 💕❤️ I've been natural for 8 years now, but im still learning my hair 😊 I just thank the Lord for leading me and my family away from those destructive perms 🤦🏽♀️ praise YAH 🙌🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾❤️

I wish i was able to save my mom's hair. Its too far gone now cause she dyes it regularly and is way too used to straightening it. But my mom has a zigzag pattern and never knew. She called it her "witch" hair. 😂 silly lady. But i would have helped her if the internet had more info back then. What a wonderful husband to encourage you and hype you up! ❤ Gotta love how you took it all in and made it flourish.🎉
Yes Lovely I understand what you meant by " if the internet had more info back then"🤗...and I sense Mom is a lady with a sense of humor( her witch hair)🤣..Lord bless her. You are right..am blessed with a wonderful Husband and I appreciate the Source of Creation. Thank you so much for sharing 🙏🏾

I’m Igbo Nigerian and my hair grows really full and long. I think it’s a west African feature. My Kenya friends always admire how full and healthy my hair grows .
