Hey beautiful people, in this video I show you my start to finish hair growth routine for optimal growth! If you:
🌟Have been stuck at the same length for years?
🌟Have hair that constantly breaks off no matter what you do?
🌟You don’t have a set hair routine and make it up as you go along?
…this simple routine is for you.
    (SAVE THIS FOR WASH DAY!)
    Steps below 👇🏾
0️⃣If high porosity do a hot oil treatment before shampoo if low porosity skip to next step.
1️⃣Shampoo with Hair Growth Shampoo (ominiranaturals.com/collectio...) and Massaging brush (sections of 4) (packed with so many potent herbs that nourish, strengthen and stimulate hair regrowth)
2️⃣Finger detangle in those sections gently with Tangle Slayer(ominiranaturals.com/collectio..., rewetting to activate the conditioner.
3️⃣Squeeze out excess water, apply Deep Conditioner (ominiranaturals.com/collectio...) into smaller sections minimum 20 minutes. For Low Porosity use a steam cap to optimise moisture penetration 💦
4️⃣Rinse, Apply Leave in Conditioner (ominiranaturals.com/collectio...) in sections of 6
5️⃣Proceed to stretched hair style. Blow out with my trusty rev air on speed 7 heat 1 until my hair is 95% dry. Link for RevAir 👉🏾 MyRevAir.com/janetdavies use my code JANETDAVIES for 💰 off
    6️⃣ Finger detangle, brush through
7️⃣Blow out on speed 7 heat II for 10 secs max to get my hair stretched
8️⃣Apply Hair Strengthening Oil ominiranaturals.com/collectio... to seal.
9️⃣ Apply Extra Strength Hair Growth Potion (ominiranaturals.com/products/...) to my hairline/areas of concern.
🔟Wear braids as a protective style, release after a minimum of 4 days.
Try this every 2 weeks and just see how much length you will retain. 💫

Our hair grows from the scalp and a clean scalp leads to healthy hair growth from our scalp. So we all must take shampooing very important if we really want to grow a healthy hair. I grew my hair out from barely shoulder length (when straight) hair to below bra length (stretched) years ago and it has STAYED at that same length every since. Back then I mostly learned about moisture, deep conditioning and hot oil treatments and protective styles, but I never put two and two together that the protect styles not only help your ends but they keep your hair fairly tangle free which is so important for avoiding breakage. I will definitely be incorporating stretching into my hair regimen to help my hair and supporting you by buying your products!

My concern is I believe stretching too much caused me to lose some of my natural curl pattern, so now I've got butt length hair, but it's not textured enough to do the styles I like & used to do when my hair had more volume and coil to do it. My daughters have mid-back length hair in its shrunken state, & I only use heat on it sparingly to do styles that require their curls to be stretched, but I'm cautious not to overstretch their curls that are so pretty and bouncy. Afro-descendant coily hair is rare with a unique beauty whereas every other group has predominately straight hair (curls come from afro/Black genetics & the anamoly of euro descendant/ white individualswho have curly hair and multiracial groups who have curly or wavy hair obtain it from a historical admixture through afro/ Black people in their ancestry). I value the uniqueness of our curls that is so gorgeous when properly hydrated and cared for.

      @dspenderella9671 Год назад +9

@@estheroluwalowo5792 It's not the method that's the point; it's that the stretching too often in itself can change or cause some of us to lose our natural curl pattern, especially those of us who already have a looser curl than 4b-4c hair types. Some people may not like their coils, so they want to lose their natural texture, but for those who do like their natural texture, they may not want to stretch too often.

You weirdos online just make stuff up w/ NO substantial evidence to back it up to push your outlandish agendas🙄😂...You hate yourselves THAT bad you don't want to identify w/ people who have the SAME common features, common coily hair, & shades of brown skin that the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of Blk people have...How pathetic. I can't relate, so I only read your 1st false sentence. Carry on.

I totally agree, I finger detangle first before using a comb. I make my own detangling conditioner with 4 ingredients from my kitchen, my coconut cream conditioner (equal parts of extra virgin coconut oil, coconut milk, plain nonfat yogurt and avocado oil.. depending on scalp and hair needs I may add some aloe juice, organic honey and or extra virgin olive oil) leave it on the hair for atleast 30 min with cap, then rinse out well before washing the hair. I do everything before the wash the detangling, clip ends while moisturizing, once washed the hair is super shiny & moisturized from the oils. I also keep aloe juice, peppermint & rosemary oils in a water bottl. I do the same for my son hair which make it easy for him to wash his own hair in the shower without the tangles

I think trimming is great as it helps protect your ends but ofc overdoing it is a thing. I try to trim 1-2x a year, I go by how my hair feels, if it’s becoming more tangled than usual then I know I’m due for a trim. After a trim my hair becomes so much easier to detangle! Hope that makes sense 😅💕💕

First, let me say that I love your channel and I have gained a lot of knowledge regarding haircare. Watching this particular video keeps me grounded and reminds me why I do not want very long hair. I want to be free. To have hair that long and have to wear protective styles just to keep it, is not worth it to me. I texlax my hair to loosen my natural curls and my hair looks great. I also flat iron it (following your advice on keeping hair stretched) on low heat. The results have been amazing. I initially had some breakage but that is because I didn't use the heat protectors and I didn't know how to flat iron. I do now and my hair is flourishing. Again, a lot of it is thanks to you.

When I was a little girl ( natural from birth until 15 years old) my mother used to wash, condition and put in either one, two or four braids. My hair was uncut ( only bangs) until 12 years old when I got my first trim. . . I was DEVASTATED to find the hair stylist cut about 5 to 6 inches when my mother wasn't looking and I was wiping soap from my eyes at the time. After that I was terrified to have anyone touch my hair. I only received "trims" after that upsetting event. I relaxed it about once a year and kept it one long French braid throughout much of junior high & high school. In 2007 I relaxed it on a very long, very trying day (BIG mistake) and dozed off for 20 minutes watching the news. It was damaged, I lost 2 inches to chemical damage and swore off chemicals. I began using deep conditioners more often and rarely pinned or clasped it tightly. Now (light-years later) it's curly...really curly but I would like it to be (that is I would like the curls) longer after it's dry. My curls are so much tighter underneath. They are two different sizes. Tighter in the front, looser on the sides. They seem different depending on the types of products I use from day to day. P L E A S E,. I will take any and all advice you have to give. Thank you.

Probably take breaks between stretching the hair try braids or twists from time to time instead of constant banding or threading and definitely opt out of blow drying the roots too often (ie tension method) maybe three times a year if your curl pattern is something important to you. I hope this helps!

Wow, love everything about this video, including the music - what's the music if you don't mind? It's really great to see that we are having British black young women sharing the knowledge about growing long hair and maintaining it. I too have long 4C hair and love everything about it. It's not as long as yours but I'm working on the length and now find it easy to maintain. I also put my hair in twists but a really gorgeous style - a pony tail at the very top and then two plaits on each side and looks hip. I just use Blue Dax, a concoction of oils that I like to use and the hair mayonnaise mainly. I do sometimes use other things now and again but those are my main routine. I would never have thought my hair and texture would be soft feeling on my neck and envious to the eye. My hair use to be short, hard, course on my neck and just awful due to lack of knowledge so I use to have it texturised, back in the days beads, perm and sometimes wigs (which I only did for a bit because putting something on your head to replace your own natural hair is like you might as well go bald - like how some people are OK with caked makeup frankly - although don't want to judge) It's great that there's a growing community of black women appreciating their own hair and no need to ever go back to weaves, perms and certainly never a wig. Your video was long but interesting all the way, good illustrations and tips. All these Miche products etc that are new and claim to be some sort of break though are rubbish from US. Tried it and cost £26 for a normal size jar - thank heavens I saw an African video about Blue Dax and tried it and worked a treat. None of this extortionately overpriced taking advantage of black women just cos we've never had the investment in research or backing for over 100 years from these big companies which is a privilege to have. Sometimes simplicity is best and look to those that are not expecting your income to go all towards it! Thank you for your sharing.
