Have you used bhringraj. That's stuff is MAGIC! I make an oil similar to this but i make a bhringraj oil and i alternate their uses. My hair is growing like weeds

I love making herbal oils. I never leave out oregano, neem and stinging nettle. I had terrible scalp inflammation and these 3 did magic. Thanks for sharing.

Ooh thats so cool their like leechy nuts and can be used as body cleanser as well it said. And wow pumpkin seed oil? I would've never thought 🤯🤯🤯 ive been using avocado, grapeseed, and olive oil. I actually love eating roasted pumpkin seeds though

Natural slow infusion is the way to go! I strain mine through a mesh strainer lined with a paper coffee filter to get a particle free oil because those herbs can be drying if any residue is left on the hair and scalp. I mix the same herbs with a base of nettle tea for a monthly hair mask. Love, love, love being an Ayurvedic mixologist! Thanks so much for sharing❤❤❤.

@@nikitabarikthreeonethreeei1438 in the warmer months, yes, I’ll put the jar containing my mixture in a brown paper bag and sit it on the porch. I avoid direct sunlight out of habit….give the contents a stir every few days. I let mine infuse for 6 to 8 weeks but theres no rule there either.

I love making hair oils and butters. Once you make your own you can not even look at commercial concoctions again. You do not strain the oil to get the sediments out?

How long after starting using the oil did you start to see growth?
I love your product mama J. My last wash day I used your strengthening mask as pre-poo than used your shampoo, the tangle slayer than the moisture deep conditioning. I than used ur leaving and oils before blow drying. Hair looks AMAZING SOFT STRETCHED. I have type 4b low porosity THANK YOU

Can I use extra dark black castor oil???????
I truly wish I could use all of these oils to assist with hair growth but my scalp is extremely sensitive and all of these proteins cause me problems. The oils make scalp itch. Also, any conditioners with proteins with coconut products, shea butter, aloe vera, etc wreaks havoc on my strands. 😌

@janetidavies Thank you for this. Is fenugreek the seeds or powder? Also, it looks like you put some other sort of oil that is sticky prior to the rosemary? What about ashwagandha, green tea, henna, peppermint oil and shikakai?

It's all dried substance and oil, so it doesn't go bad, it only does when water comes in contact with the mixture... could be if the ingredients are not properly dried or Ur tools were wet upon usage or if U pour water in

@@antonettbarker4377 when I used it, it was way too strong. I could instantly feel my hair didn’t like it. When I washed it out my hair was coming out too. I only use rosemary water now. (Homemade)
Thank you so much for sharing this, please I didn’t see you Straining the oil, is it okay to leave that in the hair?
I forgot to mention, if you let the oil rest for 4 weeks or so the herbs will settle at the bottom. When you dispense the bulk oil into a smaller container for use the herbs wont transfer as they are at the bottom.
Nevertheless if herbs do get into the oil you are trying to use it is perfectly fine. I have never had issues with lurking herbs, tbh it actually makes it more potent because the herbs will continue to infuse into the oil and the benefits will be greater. ❤

I didnt know aritha ( soap nut ) for cleansing can be used in oils.
Ivr put fenugreek seeds in my oil and it just coated the seeds. Even after sitting for one week. So i dont use it. I cant even drink it as a capsule or tea because i have fibroids ( do research on fenugreek and how it effects womans hormones )
When using these oils , i recommemd it as a hot oil and then washed oil.
These food oils tend to go rancid on the scalp after 12 hours amd smells really bad.
Especially when used more than once a week

Oils didn’t do it for my scalp. Had to go back to use grease. I do mix my oils with the grease.
I feel you I alternate I oil my scalp lightly one night the next night I use oil.
@@tashajones3661 I actually stopped oiling and greasing my scalp. I only oil my hair. Scalp feels so much better.
@@LataushaTheAuthor I totally understand you have to do what's right for you. When I grease my scalp it gives me relief I didn't know I needed.
@@tashajones3661 same but I learned a lot. You shouldn’t need that on your scalp. That means something internal is wrong and you are covering it up with grease. But I understand cause I did/do it.
