The first time I saw that video, I was so angry. It smells low self-esteem all over. I moved recently to Europe, and the first thing I noticed was that for whites, their hair isn't perfect the way we thought. And they don't mind if it's laid out perfectly or not, like the way we do. Embracing our natural hair, fluffy, curls, and all helps you be at peace with yourself, and you carry yourself with pride. It's not a demeaning venture but one of pride. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Cheers to a positive hair game change in 2024 ladies🎉🎉

My mother is European and my father is African and my hair is African. Because my mother couldn't handle my hair, she always cut my hair short as a child and now that I'm an adult I always wear extensions because I never learned how to deal with my hair. Now I have an unhealthy scalp and struggle with hair loss. This is my first time without extensions and I realize that I don't know or understand my hair at all. Your videos inspire me a lot and encourage me that there is a way to get beautiful, long, healthy Afro hair. Thank you for your videos. ❤️

@@eunicekayode536 usually after a week. But I actually find frizzy beautiful as it is part of our hair characteristics. But if you blow dry or do african threading before doing your twist it will last very long if water don’t touch it. If you have it done professionally it can last 3 weeks as long as water doesn’t touch it.

    1. Reduce use of hair extensions (so you can moisturize your ends regularly)
    2. Pen down your moisturizing routine
    3. Try wearing your natural hair more in in protective styles (2 strand twists, cornrows, plaits)
    4. Include herbal teas in your routine

Fantastic hair. Funnily enough I realised extensions were drying out and breaking my hair so decided 2024 I would let my hair be free. That clip of African women promoting Caucasian/ Asian type hair for black women is sad. We have been so brainwashed into not loving ourselves.
Thank you for your work. Blessings

I love your channel!! I have been wearing my natural hair for a few months now and have committed to not wearing any hair extensions all 2024. A wig maybe, but no crochet braids, single/box braids etc with extensions. And my hair is thriving just from that one change! I used to wear back to back for over a decade 🫠🫣! No more! cheers to nourishing my natural hair!!
Also… I can’t believe black/African woman fixed her mouth to say that! Our hair is regal! Of course we can wear our. Natural hair with expensive dress, “ears”, shoes and such!!! THE NERVE!!!!

This is the reason why I focus in on celebrities and how they look corrupt. Our culture. are black lovely culture. You don't see celebrities wearing their natural hair. they're always in some kind of wig. so much of the world so much of our black people look up to them. And think that is real beauty. I'm glad that this person is being called out because as a black person.
I love my black hair and I've been natural for over 5 years now. And I am so happy that I did that. Because I get more compliments on my natural hair than I did when my hair was relaxed.❤

I was very busy recently and noticed my hair was dry, and it was itchy. What I did was spray my hair with enough water targeting mainly my scalp and the tips while still in twists. My hair was very grateful for that. You could do something like that as part of your bathroom routines, say, twice a week. You could also add other products. If it works, then you may be motivated to try the deep moisturising for at least once in two weeks. It's better than nothing.

Basically get good products, wash, deep condition and moisturize. As your hair grows out go for safe protective styles that will help too. Implement the practices you learn on this channel...you should be on your way to growing out healthy hair.

You'll need to Protective style your hair so that you are not always touching it. If you choose to braid with extensions, then make sure is tension free and don't use extensions every single time.

Hello, do you have any suggestions for someone with Alopecia. I was diagnosed with Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia. I would like to know what herbs or natural remedies you would suggest. I have a large bald spot in very front of my head.

You need to ask your doctor to do a panel to find out what vitamins you are DEFICIENT. You may be surprised.

Thanks for the reply, I did go to a doctor. She did blood work. She said I have a high amount of testosterone due to hormone imbalance. She really doesn't know what to do because I can't take estrogen. I also went to a dermatologist, so she prescribed medication. I don't want to use Rogaine. I am afraid of side effects. I want to go the natural route.
I am going to another doctor for a second opinion.

    • @Ir-of4zn
      @Ir-of4zn 7 месяцев назад

@loisevora2717 If a doctor is telling you, there is nothing she can do...then it is time to change doctors. The question is, how can you rebalance your hormones. 🤔 Lindsaychris platform does an excellent job in how to take care of natural hair. If you have alopecia, that is an internal cellular disorder that must be corrected at the cellular level. Of course you heard of Dr. BERG, on the internet, look at his hair videos...he sells hair vitamins, and he can tell you what goes on internally in the body. All diseases and disorders come from gut microbomes. Best wishes in your hair journey ✨️
