Sammy Hagar is one of my favorite people of all time. I’m 59, I’ve met thousands of people. Sammy is a great person. I listen to all eras of his music. Montrose, Hagar, Van Halen, and Chicken Foot.
I was fortunate enough to meet Sammy Hargar and talked with him for about 10 minutes and I honestly say he is one of most down to earth famous people I ever met. He was like talking with a friend you've known for years. GOD BLESS YOU SAMMY!!!!
Joe Walsh’s thoughts on sobriety are sobering, & I’d say he just about summed it all up! I know what he means about you working for “it” & “it” not working for you anymore. Wise words from a guy that’s been thru it all… thanks Mr. Walsh 🙏
Us old, crippled hippies can still put it out. Here I am at 60 and am writing metal blues and punk and having a ball doing it. I would love to eventually play with these guys.
I met Sammy once and I’m like what do I say to to the dude from Van Halen and I quickly say, I was listening to Montrose this morning and he goes, no shit, I was just jamming some Montrose tunes with Chickenfoot. He was so nice!
From New Zealand here 🇳🇿 and Joe Walsh is part of our culture. He's been on what we call our Marae ( indigenous meeting houses ) and also has set up trusts here for recovering addicts. Again, thank you brother Joe. Warm regards, Your kiwi family.
There is life after addiction. Its so true . Its not impossible and its awesome. Brian mays guitar tones are the standard to which all should aspire to
Of course they're all crazy talented and experienced musicians, but they all seem like genuinely cool dudes, too. Very cool to see and hear these guys having fun and enjoying life.
I enjoy seeing the camaraderie amongst fellow musicians, Unfortunately those relationships are going extinct with the 30 somethings and younger. Thanks Sammy for carrying the torch!
Sammy, your a great man, We love how you defot your love an passion for all who have been a soundtrack of our lives . IM FRIGGEN Blessed... Thanks to you and your Killer Road Trip, im still on the tour bus with ya all...
Joe is such a Legend he surely wouldn't still be here if he was still drinking it's very doubtful! I remember seeing him live waaaaay back in the day he was so wasted onstage🔥🎸🤘🤩
Joe Walsh is one of my favorite guitarists of all time. I love his tunes, his attitude, his guitar playing and that he made it back from the brink of hell and he's still here. Brian May rocks too. The most rare occasion you can see Brian flummoxed is on his clip with Les Paul. Joe Walsh makes his cameo in the Blues Brothers movie at the end while Jailhouse Rock is jammed by the band.
In what world does Skunk Baxter not even get a mention amongst guitar players? There he is in the back, just playing the hell out if his guitar... I love it... This is great.
That's AWESOME!!!! these guys are some of best that the classic Rock genre gave us. Joe Walsh is so unique and a massive talent and says it the way it is. James Burton he no doubt has played this song before. being he was in the TCB band Elvis's band. Brian May he's amazing, and he's so humble to get to keep doing what he so much loves to do,and he does it so well. and Sammy Hagar he is of course the red rocker. and he's still going strong, and it's so great that he's gets together with all of his good friends. I could watch this over and over and over again simply fantastic.
Joe was the key speaker at Founder's Day (2017?) which is an annual event celebrating the origins of AA in Akron Ohio. He, like so many others, learned the hard way, but are in recovery and regaining their lives. Much wisdom is in his words.
Why is Sammy legendary? Not just because he’s talented, driven and charismatic but humble enough to want to ask questions of other legends like Joe Walsh in Brian May and be sincere about it. Love me some red rocker!
..Keep the Faith Brother...Its YOUR STRENGTH that will pull him through...I hope your son finds his inner peace and starts to LOVE WHO he is💙🙏..And i hope he feels the power of your LOVE TOO🙏💙🙏..GOD BLESS YOU BOTH,STAY STRONG BROTHER 🙏❤🙏...
When he is ready, he will quit! It took me 6 detox trips to the hospital, then it clicked. Proud to be dry and sober for 18 half years......and life is fabulous, just like Sammy said.
Watching this reminds me of how Rory Gallagher expressed that he just wanted to keep playing to an older age. Saw him perform in '78 and no other performance has ever come close to that experience. Miss him every day. Really.
