I swear they must've done it because an official roast of Ann Coulter would've been a total disaster (I mean, good luck finding even ONE person who's funny AND actually likes her), but bringing her on as part of the dais ensured that everyone would be focused on shredding her to pieces. Pretty smart strategy.
She was only there to promote her book. I wouldn't be surprised if the credits included "promotional consideration provided by" her publisher.

To me she's just a mediocre comedian at best when it comes to her comedy bits but when roasting on CC she's savage. She should use the writers for her roasts for her other performances too.
