I love all Comedy Central roasts! Maybe I have a mental difficulties, but something about them I crave. I’ve noticed even if I don’t care about the roasted actor I still watch. I like the fact of making fun of each other and just moving on. This is something my friends and I do regularly and the good nature roasting keeps us tighter!
Love the jokes about Brooklyn Nine-Nine towards Andy Samberg and how the show is going to be short lived, and now they're on Season 8 🤣 That aged well!
I love that Carrie was able to laugh at herself, and take what were probably very difficult topics for her, and use them to make others laugh. That was Carrie. That was who she was and even though she struggled with so many things she was always able to push through and give her fans something to laugh about. And even though many of us have probably never met Carrie, it was that quality about her that made us all feel like we knew her intimately.
I consider it a missed opportunity for Kevin Hart, when it came to Martha Stewart, NOT to ask the audience something like: "If it was the first time you've ever seen all these people on stage, and only knew their profession, which one of them, would you guess, has actually did time in prison?"😂
That Carrie Fisher "apparently I was in Star Wars. That must have been great" bit was the funniest thing I ever saw on a Roast. It's just so funny and tragic at the same time. And I also love that this video has the that Bruce Willis part saved for last so you can just skip to the next video...
