I ran into him/pilot etc many times His wife's beauty both inside and out cannot be judged by a old video. In person she is stunning. Sam now flies in a Challenger 300 biz jet which is in the Mercedes class of jets.

i met Sammy at the Old Homestead restaurant in a casino in Atlantic City, NJ around 2013. Me and a friend were walking out and I happened to look to my left because something bright and sunny caught my eye. It was Sammy's hair. When I looked back in Sammy direction, who was at a table with his wife and what looked like a couple of executives in suits he had already pushed his chair back from the table, was looking at me and smiling, and waved me over. I met Sammy in of all places, Roseville, CA at a wine / classic car show. I’m talking to this raggedy-haired dude about the classic Mopar cars sitting in front of us ( 70’s challenger, “ late 60’s Roadrunners etc...) and I said to him after a few minutes “Hey man, you going for that Sammy Hagar look today bro?” He turns to me and pauses for a quick second and says “Shit, Sammy’s goin for MY look man!”... it was just him and I standing there at the time. So after a few minutes, my wife walks up and I said, I was just talkin to some dude that looked just like Sammy Hagar ... so we go home and I said let me look up pics of Sammy because I noticed when I was talking to him a couple of tattoos he had on his arm ... and sure as shit he had the same tattoo... I just thought it was cool how he played it off! He opened up a restaurant and bar in Roseville with his son shortly thereafter but I had no clue him and I were just standing there bullshitting about classic rides... seemed like a cool guy! I’m sure he wouldn’t remember the conversation but who knows???

I just finished his audio book traveling between Arizona and Fontana, California of all places. What a great book and a great guy. I remember working on some food equipment as a technician for a Costco in Palm Desert. I walk in the back at 6:00 in the evening and I notice two people standing amongst the boxes and food items in the back. I walked up next to them and looked over and it was Sammy and his wife waiting to go out and sign some tequila bottles. He looked over and said, “How ya doing?” I didn’t realize until a few moments later who it was. Really nice guy.

I met Sammy in of all places, Roseville, CA at a wine / classic car show. I’m talking to this raggedy-haired dude about the classic Mopar cars sitting in front of us ( 70’s challenger, “ late 60’s Roadrunners etc...) and I said to him after a few minutes “Hey man, you going for that Sammy Hagar look today bro?” He turns to me and pauses for a quick second and says “Shit, Sammy’s goin for MY look man!”... it was just him and I standing there at the time. So after a few minutes, my wife walks up and I said, I was just talkin to some dude that looked just like Sammy Hagar ... so we go home and I said let me look up pics of Sammy because I noticed when I was talking to him a couple of tattoos he had on his arm ... and sure as shit he had the same tattoo... I just thought it was cool how he played it off! He opened up a restaurant and bar in Roseville with his son shortly thereafter but I had no clue him and I were just standing there bullshitting about classic rides... seemed like a cool guy! I’m sure he wouldn’t remember the conversation but who knows???

Sorry to be the guy that has to say...if you didn't know you were talking to the ONE and ONLY... I mean c'mon... there is NO ONE else... might look like him, but no way in hell, talks like him. Sammy is too full of energy and I've never heard anyone else sound like him.
I just finished his audio book traveling between Arizona and Fontana, California of all places.
What a great book and a great guy. I remember working on some food equipment as a technician for a Costco in Palm Desert. I walk in the back at 6:00 in the evening and I notice two people standing amongst the boxes and food items in the back. I walked up next to them and looked over and it was Sammy and his wife waiting to go out and sign some tequila bottles. He looked over and said, “How ya doing?” I didn’t realize until a few moments later who it was. Really nice guy.
