It’s called precasting. Hard-cast healers such as shaman do it all the time. You precast, but cancel if you don’t need the heal to go off.

He could have feared too. The fallen heroes can be feared despite them being undead.
That's how I farmed the blood. Open the blood and immediately fear. Sometime the fear goes out fast enough and you don't even get the debuff
I mean if he does fear for sure it pulls more mobs and he is super low, unless he did it early and ran but still he held out and won it. @@mrlolasdlolasd382
Can't use touch of weakness as a dwarf. That's a forsaken priest ability. Trolls have a similar one with a different name, though I could be mixing the two up, they do essentially the same thing (reduce physical damage by 20 at max rank). One requires you to get hit, while the other is an on demand debuff.
Renew itself can outheal a single mob sometimes. That priest didnt use it. He even casted a Mind Blast when he was in critical health instead of power word shield, flash heal.

Mhmhe handled it really well tbh but still so many ways to do it even better, that mana pot was so smart , imo most people would panic health pot instead and die due to oom
@@Emilgod Yep. Hugely important to know which potion is a better choice as a healer/caster (mana users to a lesser extent). Healing pots can save you, but mana pots can also save you depending on the circumstances and could be the better choice. It all depends.

I like how as soon as the clip begins in most cases you know what's going to happen. Blood of heroes or whatever it's called is probably my favorite because there's one placed in a perfect spot just at the Eastern Plaguelands entrance and people can't resist.
Thanks Asmon editors so much for adding my clip to the thumbnail and opening clip, I was laughing so much again ^_^ I wrote it as a meme and I NEVER thought someone would actually do it...When I saw him fly off I could not believe with my eyes, was literally shocked lol...Only reason the clip ended up being funny is because the guy actually lived on like 2% hp...you can see him jump on some island before loading screen on the mini map...If he died I would not forgive myself, I'll certainly never type that again lol...after I added him on the discord and we laughed it off together, it was epic :D Latest video/clip on my channel is actually original of that happening ^^ Thanks again

I know this may be a bit of an odd reaction to your videos. But seeing you most recent video has inspired me to start playing WOW for the first time. I think it's the way you speak of your classic experiences.
Just wanted to say thanks, cause I'm really enjoying the game. I'm early in just getting to level 20 but it's been fun and really looking forward to raids and dungeons.
Hoping you might considering playing classic again and giving the fall of the lich king dungeons a go, that's a video I would enjoy seeing
Let me give you some tips dude as a new player because when classic fresh come out i hadn't played wow since 2012ish XD
Try to practice looking around using your mouse (turn off smart pivot etc so your camera stays where u rotate it) and get used to using the mouse to move as much as you can, avoid what is known as keyboard turning and back peddling. If you need too move back away from things practice strafing (press Q and it should strafe which is the same effect as moving with mouse and pressing A or D) it allows you to run away from the mob almost sideways, which means you move faster away but also dont get hit from behind.
Second big thing, keybindings. Add keybinds and force yourself to press them, if you in a city, waste your cds and abilities too just press them. It will save your life in the game. Clicking your abilities is the worst habbit anyone can get. Start with simple binds, i use Q E R T Y F G, Shift 1,2,3,4,5, shift Q, E, R, T, Y, F, G. you can add alt nd cntrl keybinds to but to start with id just use like Q E R T F G and shift Q E R T F G, Shift 1-5.
You will be really hard pressed too do the content (killing lichking) without this, it will make such a difference too your reaction times and allows you too keep your eyes more on whats happening on screen rather than looking at your abilities on bar to see what you pressing. As you are level 20 learning your binds as you level should be very useful for you tbh :D

Just don't get addicted to wow. It's debilitating. I can't play anymore cuz when I do I spend too much time on the game even when I don't want to.
Also, the Jammal'an fight, if the healer just DPS's instead of sitting there twiddlin their dick and "healing" (the bosses do no damage anyway) you can skip the entire Mind control mechanic. Just a lil tip for future ST runners.
The person who gets MCd gets a debuff when the boss yells “join us”, and it won’t transform you until the buff expires. Whoever gets it can just run max distance away from the group and everyone will be safe.
another tip: the mind control ceases when the boss dies, so just nuke him.

19:50 It doesn't matter whether you cleared everything, the destroyers only spawn when you pull the boss (probably to counteract you kiting the boss around or away from his room). They usually get pulled by totem, pet or a lingering hunter trap or other ground effect or something.

16:34 so uh... slight problem with his thinking on fear. You see if you look carefully at the warrior at 15:15 he has a debuff on him. It's red and kinda looks like a fist. Yeah, that's Death Wish. Death Wish is a very nice ability warriors have. It increases their damage done and damage taken, but it has one more special benefit... it makes them IMMUNE TO FEAR!
So uh, the mage at 24:20 didn't have too low a wand skill, he was wanding with a NATURE WAND against deadwood furbolgs! They have incredibly high nature resistance. He died because he didn't just cast fire blast, or arcane explosion again to finish it off and run from the other one. This was a very easy situation to deal with, but the player just didn't know enough about the game and it almost cost him his character.
The furlbog guy got away though, albeit with only 14 hp, but thats still survival.
Death Wish isn’t on the warrior anymore when the priest gets close enough to fear, it falls off like a second before he gets close enough
Hardcore needs to end when you hit 60 imo.
Those fire elementals in BRD come from just up outside the room, if you don't clear them before, they come when you pull Flamelash. It's not from totem aggro.
its a new spawn just like with Herod, and yes its a totem pull, been through that on softcore multiple times. You also can see that the elemental despawns after hunter's FD which is not how normal mobs act
Nah they spawn and if you watch the clip closely watch when the shaman drops his new totems inside, then count in your head. The adds come through the door after 2-3 seconds, its about 5-7 seconds maybe more for them to path down too where they are. That tells me they pulled he drops new totems, too late. They already on the way.
Wrong, they always spawn and don't aggro by themselves. Only when some player totem, pet or ground effect is up there pulling them.
Kungen cant heal for shit, clicking targets like a baddie, no wonder everyone dies

I've seen these fire elementals pull to boss in classic before... not in hardcore, but in classic. We had no idea why they pulled either. They usually didn't.
It would be good if Zack could explain some of it a bit more as I have no idea what's going on but its still funny to watch. What was the numlock thing all about?
if you press numlock in game your caracter will run forward direction u are facing untill you stop him(numlock again or ''s'' button for going back)
numlock toggles autorun. the guy tricked the other guy into running off the zeppelin by making him press numlock.
Need like a play by play or something cuz I dont play wow but i can tell you NUMLOCK is autorun based on that clip XD

Every time I think about playing hardcore, I am reminded that the EU servers had a lag spike, everyone died, and Blizz won't wind it back to undo the deaths. Like ok then, not gonna waste my time if a server side fuckup can completely invalidate the hours I put in.
Both you and Blizzard made the correct choice. I wouldn't risk it either but this has been the way for decades. The Diablo2 loading screen literally told you they will not restore your Hardcore character for _any_ reason, *including* disconnects, server crashes, acts of God and your little sister. Blizzard might be responsible for their servers, but you and only you are responsible for your HC toon.
Just start over if you die what's the big deal man 😅

The group at 10:54... I swear to god, some Rogues should just be banned forever from instances. I've had multiple cases of Rogues going on an fucking adventure on their own because they just love going off alone to fiddle their fucking bumholes. Like that sneak does something to their brains. If they aren't sneaking they are on self-appointed pull duty because THROWING KNIVES IS FUN. There are two classes I am consistently overjoyed to see die; Mages and Rogues, with a heavy emphasis on Rogues. Mages CAN have died in other ways than doing mass pulls and AoE farming.. but Rogues always die due to their own shit.
Develop a zero tolerance policy for Rogues and your instance will go fine.

If you are HC, don't even think of doing the Fordring quest line. I know the item is pre raid bis for many classes, but just don't. I can't count how many times I did that on how many characters, and my only successful attempt without dying was solo as a druid where I kited him around until help arrived. As a priest, just forget it, or have people outside your party willing to come heal you.
That hardcore died could have opened with fear, no? I don't think those mobs chain pull.

I dont understand playing hardcore. God can act in so many ways do disconnect you, or have something go wrong at an inopportune moment. The empty feeling one would have losing a max lvl character is so unappealing
