I'm glad to had this healer in the group and everyone else but i want to share another perspective to see in the brd clip. As shaman i did 34,7% damage and 25% of healing in this fight - putting down dummy, stoneclaw to stack up into slow totem backpaddling - stun grenade perfectly timed after nova (which you can't see here), hp totem while moving coze of insane damage incoming - clearing the ranges with fire-totem and chain lightning (+dmg on whole group). Saving also priest and healed the mage when he was low at the same time as the priest so he went to full. Still healer was doing amazing and the whole group. How does this happen? Well, i talked to Ribbly how i did before, but this time he got some surprise for a compilation. I'm coming from europe btw ~ peace out.
Edit: Finally figured out why the mobs got pulled, it was a 'snake' near Ribbly - take care!

Pretty sure Gonrak was throwing out heals throughout the encounter as well.
As a Holy Priest enjoyer, the clip at 2:32 made me very happy, that guy played very well.

also a 15 year + holy priest vet. i was tearing up with class pride seeing my boy clutch. i usually do save inner focus for a prayer of healing however as thats one expensive spicy meatball heal

That Angerforge pull was such a combo. Pulling unneeded pack into a chain pull. Not knowing Angerforge encounter generates Molten Destroyers x6 to cover the escape route, calling out not to use the safe spot by the left window, running towards the right window, not using fear, not using shield wall. Soooo many mistakes.

@@Dilllll26 so what if its basic... without him, they die. He clutched up and made sure his group got through the exchange. It doesn't have to be monumental to be impressive.
@@Dilllll26 Yeah regular healing proficiency is now apparently "god tier". They seem decent from their choice of spell and not panicking when they were oom but still, not that crazy, but i guess it seems god tier to regards who can't LoS or dispel anything to save themself.
@@Dilllll26 He kept everyone alive in a tight situation. It will be a memorable experience for that group if they are all friends and that's what matters most.
Like when I played FFXI as WHM main and was in the Dunes. Fighting enemies one at a time because we couldn't handle more than that with a full group. A 2nd one gets aggroed, we killed the first, and then a 3rd one gets aggro'ed. We are all low on mana, life and everything. Everyone is almost dead and I use Benediction which heals the group to full, but gives me insane aggro that tanks can't pull off. We kill the 2nd, and almost kill the 3rd before I died. Rest of the team lived, it was an epic moment.
TLDR: We accidentally chain pulled too much and everyone but me lived due to the party playing well. Will never forget that moment.

My man has been watching death clips for weeks now and this is the 1st time hes noticed the blinking potions... incredible
he is right about what he says most of the time but because of that he does not really try to understand situations, its like he applies his own WoW thinking grid to them and only notices what comes out of it, often distorting what's really happening when he doesn't have full knowledge
Maybe he just isnt as immersed in the WoW Classic-game like many of you are, I think hes streaming and making content for a lot of games so its just natural that some things like that are overlooked.
I play HC server and as soon as I see someone do anything sketchy I immediately take off. Had I been in that final clip group and seen someone light more than 1 candle. Exit. Not even gonna bother to tell them. Leave group, run, heartstone.
Thats called being smart. Now if you something sketchy and abandoning the group, youre worse than a roach and deserve to have your character die to disconnect or flight path bug

Last I ran that we did 2 candles at a time, though with prot pally and 2x mages it was super easy
why though? why would you EVER do more than 1 at a time? there's absolutely zero reason to risk your characters to finish the instance 20 seconds faster. it's just utterly idiotic to risk 20-30 hours of playtime just to save a few seconds...@@yarglof
@@ecMonify because it's more fun that way? You could lvl to 60 by grinding green mobs but that's super boring. I don't have any desire to do endgame content, just having fun leveling up.
8:00 let's be honest here, 90% of deaths from debuffs are because the healer is playing WoW while watching something on another monitor, or just straight tabbed out

bro, your facecam covers party frames every. single. videos. just move the shit to the right of the screen, under the minimap. you can do it, i know it! you just have to believe that you're truly capable of fulfilling such common sense and mundane tasks!
Imagine being a level 60 tank.. and losing your character because 3 people in your party turned their brains off.
There's some personal responsibility involved too, though. If you have multiple stacks of a dispellable debuff, you need to be calling it out on comms. Doesn't make it the tank'a fault, but it's an easy mitigation.

6:14 Tank gets hit with a double blast wave from both dragonkin. Honestly better positioning would have saved him. The tank is taking a lot of damage, he's got Death Wish up, sparing several GCDs to dispell the debuff might still have got him killed.

that flight path shit happened to me too. as you fly into org zone, it can layer you and you dismount and fall into the river. in my case, I bounced off the cliff, took some fall damage, and ended up in the river at like 10% HP.
I’m not gonna lie. I’ve never played WOW. But I’ve learned more about this game from Asmon’s WoW Hardcore Death videos than anything else. Ever.
Was waiting for the second clip to be the chad that made it off the UC elevator falling on his trip back up.

I'm with you I was like dude I play as good as that healer half afk it's not that impressive. It's really not hard to know what spells your class can use how much they heal so you know when to cast them and understanding the situation at hand so you aren't suprise by debuffs or big damage.

12:00 When you pull General Angerforge, those elemental guards spawn on the bridge to cut off your retreat, same thing as with the flamewalker boss which wipes people if shaman totems are still up.
It was a bad pull but they were basically forced to take it as is or make it worse.
12:54 those spawn if you try to kite the boss too far. All they need to do is jump out the window, the reset spot is right next to the window.
