      @HaworthProjection 4 дня назад +5

      Check out the original Duality again, the kick rhythm is very different, but he's definitely got strong heel toe game. He's getting tired because his knee isn't behind the pedal enough for that kind of work; if he had his hip flexors engaged and his knee raised up a bit higher, he wouldn't fatigue as much.
      It's also good to note that, while the original drummer, (edit:) Joey Jordison, didn't use triggers for this track, a LOT of drummers do (for consistency of sound), and this young gun--at 16!!!--sounds incredible without them.

    Bros redemption take was amazing.
    Some people don’t realize how hard it is to play outside your comfort zone.
    As a drummer who primarily plays metal and hardcore, if someone gave me a song like this I’d be able get it pretty quick, and nail the accents.
    But if you sat me down at a gospel session, I’d probably be accenting the wrong stuff and over playing. That’s a huge flaw of mine, I always feel like I have to constantly add stuff or switch up the beats.
