    I Love it. Switching around the musical duties for the lip-synch! They are all right on the money phonies too. One of the greatest bands ever. I saw them at Colby college in 1987 on mushrooms. Quite a bit of fun. They were so great live. They opened with a killer version of "Take Me I'm Yours". Absolutely blew me away. 10 times better than any big arena concert I have ever gone to.

    Wonderful lyrics a complete story in just three minutes, love, happiness, disappointment, isolation. A stunning song, always loved it, still great.

    I loved Squeeze, discovered them in 78/79 when I was 11. This song has always been one of my absolute top favourite songs. 1979 was a bloody brilliant year for music. Ohhh the memories! lol

    fantastic band, real tunesmiths, had the pleaseure in meeting Glenn Tilbrook when when came through Auckland Airport around 2002, damn good chap and I think he was a bit bemused at my shock in seeing him, remember first hearing "Cool For Cats" in a pub in Croyden, I was with me Dad of course.

    I live in the US and have loved squeeze since I was 20, now im 40 and love them even more...I didnt hear to much of them in the states so I don't know too much about them But I love them!!!

    Love these guys and saw them in concert 5-6 times in the late 70's and early 80's. Never realized Glen Tilbrook also played the drums...what a talent!

    Hahah shows what they thought of Top of the Pops. All playing each others instruments. Glen has a quite elaborate drum kit to hide him away. Jools on guitar acting hilarious.

      @@MetalboxJ I think The Stranglers did it in 1977 as it was no more heroes but I'm not sure about Iron Maiden before that as they were relatively unknown if they did it before 1977. The general public wouldn't have seen it just the first lot of fans.

    the golden age of music,1979,squeeze were brill and introduced me to my first ever coloured vinyl,purple,after that i wanted everything in coloured vinyl,the obsession quickly past though,i have a few squeeze songs in coloured vinyl,slap and tickle,etc

    Love this pisstake, damn hilarious.
    This was one of those fantastic moments in song writing.
    I had the pleasure of meeting Glen Tilbrook at Auckland Airport back in 2001, I worked for Air NZ and he came into our quiet terminal and I checked him in for a domestic flight, I was so shocked, had a great chat to him and discovered what a damn good bloke he is.

    That was mimed so convincingly, and so "tongue in cheek" the way they are all playing the "wrong" instrument. Tillbrook is "beat perfect" on the kit, you would have thought it was him playing it on the record!!!

    Saw muse on a you tube clip on an Italian show where they all swapped instruments just for a laugh. Now I know wher they got the idea. This is a classic track from a band I've seen more than once. Great live, and Tillbrooks vocals are amazing.
