This movie gave a GIGANTIC boost to rhythm & blues music sales. Cab Calloway got world famous again 50 years after hitting it big at The Cotton Club in the 1930's.
The fact you havnt seen this actually blows my mind bro, please do a watch along or a movie review or something man. I personally would absolutely love you to do a commentary track to play alongside the movie. It's actually a musical and comedic masterpiece that might not have been recreated on the same level since.

You definitely need to watch this movie. I remember watching it as a kid. Still one of my all time fav movies. Great driving skills, funny moments and most importantly massive musical stars and songs. Very Bluesy. You'll enjoy it for sure.

An all time classic movie. Compulsory viewing. It gets on tv probably twice a year. I watch every time. Legendary for so many reasons.
A favourite moment is when they are at a Hillbilly bar and asks: What kind of music do you usually have here? And the lady answers: Oh we have both kinds! Country AND western 😂
Now I'm gonna have to go watch it for the 1,000th time!! Lol One of my favorite things that so many people don't catch is his ex-girlfriend's salon...called "Curl Up & Dye"! Hahaha

The Blues Brothers started off as a regular skit on Saturday Night Live. It became so popular they where encouraged to make a movie. Stars lined up to appear in the movie.
One of those movies you can happily watch again and again. It's ridiculously stupid, hilariously funny and the soundtrack and music scenes are first class.

When ever you hear this get played on radio, this is the actual version you always hear. Ray Charles and the Blues Brothers.

There are two movies. This is the first one with John Belushi as one of the Blues Brothers. By the time they made the second movie, Belushi had died and so John Goodman from the tv show Roseanne took his place with Dan Akwroyd.

I kind of love you putting the TikTok dances on blast, they're clean but, just lack any heart for me. A lot of disco dancing and stuff was just fun. I think you'd enjoy this movie especially as a singer, there's so much music in it from some incredible greats.
Gonna echo a lot of comments, PUH-LEEZE watch the movie, it fuqn awesome. This is a great track, love the close-up of Ray and the glasses, how good is Duck Dunne on bass! The movie has John Lee Hooker playing boom boom live in the street in Chicago and it just goes from there. And the best of Same and Dave playing on cassette, brilliant.

The Blues Brothers is one the greatest movies ever made and I'm not a fan of musicals.
It is not a great movie in and of itself and has its flaws. However, the music is fantastic.
It is funny, but the music is why your will watch it again. Also you must let us watch it with you.
