For me you can't beat the Original Blues Brothers from the 80's. Shake your tail feather is such a fun song #memories #old 😄
Love The Blues Brothers..this is the 2nd movie...BB 2000...the original had areatha, James Brown, etc....the second film has many cameos...Eric Clapton. B.B. king etc
Yaaasssss. This movie came out when I was 10 years old. My step-dad showed it to me. This movie started me on a quest to listen to older music. I'm forever grateful
The 1980 Blues Brothers was my favorite with Aretha singing ...Think....
And congratulations on hitting the 100,000 subscribers.👏👏👏
No one can replace John Belushi in the Blues Brothers You need to watch the original Blues Brothers (1980) john lee hooker, aretha ,steve cropper, james brown etc
I second this comment! Think by Aretha. Shake your tail feather by Ray Charles. Boom boom boom by John Lee Hooker. Much better than the sequel...
@@sofiamiliaressis5403 if haven't seen 'this is spinal tap' check it out
Yayyy! Sounds like a movie marathon coming up to celebrate your awesome achievement of 100K followers. Congrats! 😃 Gotta start with Blues Brothers 1980. I truly believe these movies should be part of everyone’s musical education. Best ever! 😍
You have to watch the original Blues Brothers, not the sequel!!
Thank you for the reminder to rewatch Blues Brothers 2000!
Tearing it up !!!I love it 😂 Johnny Lang ! Need I say more !? I love Wilson Pickett !
that was fire! Great choreography with the women in the scene too. I think it captured the feel of the first movie in that scene.
The original Blues Brothers is an absolute classic, RIP John Belushi, sorely missed.
I think the second movie just as good as a musical, so many great songs.
The Blues Brothers movies was sooo good coz all the best of american top musicians acted in it!!! 😍
Wicked Wilson Pickett y'all . lol!
Hey Nick..... Thanks for playing my song.... it has been worth the wait.... glad you liked it.... but watch Blues Brothers before Blues Brother 2000. So many legends of blues in there for you to watch..... so glad you liked it and I am already racking my brain for you to enjoy again......
I love these movies!!! Legendary
@@sofiamiliaressis5403 It is so good! Blues Brothers and Blues Brothers 2000, they rock!!!!
There are 2 Blues Brother Movies.... This Clip is from Blues Brother 2000 and the one you saw with James Brown is the Original Blues Brothers.... Both feature just great stars of Blues, R&B, Jazz...
This is right up your alley, Nick! A loving tribute to all the great soul and blues singers who are all in the movie! The Blues Bros started as a sketch on SNL with Dan Ackroyd and Jon Belushi.
You gotta see the part with Aretha , then Cab Calloway, then with Reverend James Brown in the killer church scene!!!!
The skinny blonde kid on guitar is prodigy teen , Johnny Lang- check out his Lie To Me at 16.
The second movie that this is from is a fun continuation of Blues Brothers with great cameos and great music. The soundtrack is a great listen also.
So glad you found Jonny Lang. My hubby and I love his music. I've seen 14 of his concerts (one with Sting and Kep Mo in Chicago's outside Grant Park). He signed one of my guitars - I met Jonny 4 times after concerts. He is super nice and kind to his fans. Discovered him when this Blues Brothers 2000 movie (the 2nd BB movie) came out in 1998 - Jonny is the Custodian performing in 634-5789 at end of movie. A must see.
More Jonny Lang tunes I enjoy are: We Are The Same, A Quitter Never Wins, I am (written by Prince), Still Rainin', Wander This World, Make It Move, 1997 version of Lie To Me (at age 16), and many more! You might also enjoy his CD 'Live at the Ryman Auditorium' (in Nashville, TN). I blast it when I'm out driving around.
This originated on Saturday Night Live as a fun bunch of musicians with comedians John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd for reoccurring musical sketches.
Love these movies
Congrats on reaching 💯. This brings back memories 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you man 🙏🏾
Love the Blues Brothers music, so good. By the way, Jimmy Barnes does a great version of this song from his Soul Deeper album.
This is the original blues Brothers from 1980 I think and the other one that you said was blues Brothers 2000 that’s where they brought it up to date and the blues Brothers them selves are now older have diff members!
That' s just soooooo much fun! Love all these guys! Love the "Blues Brothers! Great teaction!😎
You need to see the Blues Brothers in what we formed
I wonder how many prank calls have been made to 634 5789...... lol
Omg you have Johnny Lang….this is getting weird now…🤣😂🤣 Both Brilliant. And I love this version. Movie is great with fantastic musos
Ah I love Blues Brothers 1 & 2 SO much - this reaction has made me so happy 🥳🥳🥳
Congrats on the 100K bloke, here's to 100K more.. Your reactions are great, love the passion.. The original blues brothers will always be the best with Joe, Aretha & my man Ray Charles & his amazing keyboard playing but they are all good..
A great movie with awesome music. Watch some more…
There's blues brothers and blues brothers 2000 enjoy
Yay!!!!! I love this movie! So much joy, thank you!!!!!
This was my favorite part of the movie where you got this all-star cast taking turns. They've never been anything like it and they're probably never will. Aretha sings Respect in the song. She also came out in the original Blues Brothers in the late '80s.
You got to check out the original movie. Congratulations on 100K
@ThatSingerReaction Hey Dominick, do yourself a favour and watch the original Blues Brothers movie followed by Blues Brothers 2000. You'll see Ray Charles, Aretha, John Lee Hooker, James Brown, Bo Diddley, Wilson Picket and BB King just to name a few. And you know, with names like that, you're going to love the music.
OMG, Please you need to watch both blues brothers movies, even if it's ONLY for the music! You will NOT regret it!!
You absolutely must see the original movie, and see it first. It's amazing. This one is OK but the original is gold. And almost criminal that a music fan such as yourself hasn't seen it. Please watch it.
The original Blues Brothers movie is my fave and would be much more your kinda music. One of the best musical movies ever imo.
Make sure you start with the original Blues Brothers movie released in 1980. Features a who's who of blues legends including Cab Calloway, Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin.
On a mission from God
Watch the original Blues Brothers movie, a truly cast.
You make me laugh, "this is so crazy" why, yes it certainly is. Also joke within the joke is that nothing, including the electric guitar is plugged in anywhere! Hella singers in this movie. When they show up and play in the hillbilly bar, OMG hysterical
The original is an outright classic. Sadly many legends had died between the originals release and the remake. Aretha ran a fast food shop in the original. In the second her and her husband Mat "Guitar" Murphey ( also a legend you should check out the black and white footage of him in his youth playing Matt Murphy - Murphy's Boogie 1963 (live) ) run a Prestige Car Dealership.
While watching the movies you need to keep an eagle eye on everything because the movies are loaded with cameos and references to other legends. The movies were Dan's nod to all the people that preceeded him in all industries and most were struggling and going broke.
Everyone either loves or hates this movie. I actually loved it, it had many moments and references to the original. Main difference is the Nazi's are replaced with the Russian Mafia.
There's 2 movies, the original The Blues Brothers, absolutely awesome, then Blues Brothers 2000. The original in my opinion is the best, cheers
Blues Brothers love the movie but dont recognise this did they do a remake? Ill have to watch because I loved this song and want to see what other songs they cover.
Just loved both of the blues brother movies one of the best tracks for me in Blues Brothers 2000 was Blues Traveler doing maybe I'm wrong
you gotta hear jimmy barnes version ,you will break something!
Aretha is in the ‘80 version.
James Brown, Cab Calloway and Ray Charles in the 1980 Blues Brothers are all amazing.
In terms of actual movie content, much prefer Blues Brothers to Blues Brothers 2000.
Tielmans brother, u should check them.. Very mantap👍🏽
This whole movie is just awesome.. LOVE IT! edit The original move 1984 i think! Though this looks ok too now that I watch it...But noting beats the original, especially Ray's music exchange..: "Aint nothing wrong with the action on this piano!"
You have to start with the original Blues Brothers this one has James Brown and Areatha Franklin. Then watch Blues Brothers 2000 white is the sequel.
you have to watch the 1980's Blues Brothers first and then Blues Brothers 2000 because James Belushi died of a drug overdose and nobody can reproduce his role from the original movie
It was John Belushi who died, not his brother James.
@@paulmckinnon203 sorry... Typo of the facts on my part dude
Unfortunately this movie wasn't the best. However, getting some legendary artists to perform. The soundtrack is worth buying.
Oh treat yourself watch the original blues brothers movie so many great artists including Aretha Franklin, Cab Calloway and James Brown . The film just flows .
I know you want to do “Poets of the fall” “Angel” Alexander Theatre Sessions, requested by a small PayPal contribution. Derek
But Bambi was a boy
Nothing touches the original Blue Brothers…. This was good but not even close to the greatness of the original.
You have to Take a look at the first Bluesbrother movie. ruclips.net/video/RTXszRHc0qs/видео.html
you pause too much
