    I agree I first started using all that pricy fertilizer when I redid my lawn but after switching to the sta green fertilizer I got a better result at lot cheaper price. The quality seed is what really makes the difference. I did use RGS this time and I think that helps.

    OUTSTANDING. wowoww! I am in Texas. I have St. Augustine which I find needs a more expensive product ...particular the fungicides. This year, my yard looks great---thick and for the first time---fungus free. I am alternating granular Azoxytrobin and liquid propiconazole every 2-3 weeks during the rainy season. How often should I fertilize...and what about during summer? Headed to watch your video on blade sharpening. By the way, I planted 216 St. Augustine plugs in the damaged area of my front yard. For some reason, the last two seasons, it emerges from the winter severely damaged, or some spots, the grass died.

    Great looking lawn my man! I live in central Indiana, do you think that Greenview Turf type Tall Fescue would do well here? You mentioned you over seed in spring and fall, do you use a pre-emergent for weeds in early spring? How does that affect your spring over seeding project? Also what type of pre-emergent do you use? Thanks again for the great videos! Killer deep green color on that lawn!!!

    • @LawnAmateur
      @LawnAmateur  Месяц назад

      @user-un1ek3iz6k thank you. If I'm overseeding I won't use the pre emergent. I'll use the scotts built for seed that is the starter fertilizer plus weed preventer. If I don't seed I'll use the spectracide weed stop for lawns crabgrass preventer granular as my main pre emergent. The Greenview Turf type tall fescue should definitely work in your area. I hope this helps thank you for watching

    I'm using the Performance Max plus a few GS Plant Food products this year and I really like how my yard is doing. One word of caution with the Performance Max though. It really absorbs humidity if you don't get the bag fully sealed or seal it in a container. And if it does absorb some of the humidity, it will clump some but not badly - it's still very usable. This is the first fertilizer I've used that has been affected so easily like this.

    The lawn looks great. I would be interested to see the prill size as I bought some Sta Green 13-13-13 at the end of last season and the prill size is way too big which makes it hard to spread on a lower spreader setting with my Scotts rotary spreader, aside from getting less coverage due to the large prills.

    Hello, I don't speak English very well so I don't understand everything you say. I used this fertilizer 4 weeks ago on St. Augustine grass, I quickly saw the effect, the grass turned beautiful, became greener and covered the empty spots. However, now my lawn is not as dark green as after applying fertilizer. Can I repeat fertilization? My soil is very sandy. zone 8a
