I’ve seen a lot of discourse online about this so I just wanna remind y’all: Hobie Brown doesn’t have a cannon age in the films. In concept art he was roughly 19/20 but this was scrapped. He’s supposed to be around 16-19. Pav is around Miles age (15-16) and Gwen is roughly 16-17

to my disabled community: if you've got a baking interest that you don't feel like you have the energy or mobility to fully enjoy i recommend you get a bread machine if you can. you throw in the ingredients and it mixes, kneads, and even bakes it for you! we got one when me and mom realized we had a gluten intolerance so i could make our own gf bread (store bought is tiny as fuck, cant even make a decent sandwich
we were able to get a pretty fancy one but you don't really need one with all the bells and whistles to make delicious bread!
edit bc someone reminded me: the bread will have a lil hole on the bottom due to the thing the blade uses to mix and kneed. however worst case scenario it makes it easy to share sandwiches

Normalise jumping through hoops and trying out sexuality/gender labels like clothes until you find the right label for you. It's a process, and you might not be right the first time.
It's ok to try out labels. If you don't like a label, or you don't identify with a certain one, then try out another, as long as you aren't harming anyone within that community, of course :)

When I first found out about the term non-binary and then the other terms under it. I had found the term agender, and I related so hard, but I never saw anything about it, and it wasn't very common. I started to doubt myself and felt pressured to stick to a more common label.
But I now identify with multiple labels under the trans umbrella and have never been happier. It was a hard process, but I made it through to the other side, and it was all OK :D

There's so many outdoor cats in my neighborhood and the neighbors keep replacing them once they die :( a normal cat is supposed to live about 16-18yrs with supervision if let outside. Don't declaw them, but don't let them out unsupervised!!
i'll accosionaly bring my cat outside but only when he has his harness on. there are other cats in the neighborhood and i love my boy but he can't take them--
and the whole invasive species thing destroying local ecosystems.
my neighborhood only allows one kind of fence and it's supposed to have gaps so my cat won't be able to go outside and roll in the grass 😞😞😞
On top of that! Always keep an eye on your cat! My cat and I have a whole routine together, so I had to make sure they didn't get lost or worse, so I always kept an eye on them when outside. That was (and still is) the main reason they are supervised, but for this reason as well.
Your cat will let you know when they are about to kill. They make that chatter sound, and that's when you hold them. Of course, cats are predators, so if a spider gets into your house, let them use their instincts. But once you are in THEIR territory, outside in nature, don't let you pets harm other animals.

For me, I don't really feel any sort of attachment to any certain gender, maybe some gendered terms but not the gender itself. (E.g. I might refer to myself as a "big-girl" bc I'm plus-size, but I don't actually identify as a girl)
I simply exist, neither as a man nor a woman. I am me, and that's all there really is to it. No gender really feels like me, I feel like I exist outside of gender itself.
I have become more comfortable dressing fem since I have accepted myself as non-binary. It doesn't feel as gendered anymore. I simply dress femininely because I want to and because I like it, not because I feel like I have to (I'm afab).
I'd never have felt comfortable dressing fem had I never realised I was non-binary. I think this is because I subconsciously did not want to give into gender roles. I did not want to play into the stereotypical girl because then I'd be more associated with girlhood, which I didn't like/want.
Now, though, dressing fem feels like I'm going against gender roles in some way XD
Anyways, that's a bit on how I experience gender :P

i relate to this so much!! pretty much every single word could've been written by me, except i'm still in the phase where i don't necessarily like dressing fem bc i feel like it's compulsory. i like those styles, i just want to CHOOSE wearing them instead of it being "forced" on me (ofc noone is directly forcing me by holding a gun to my head lol, i just mean wearing them because of gender norms as opposed to personal preference)

@@darkacadpresenceinbloodYea, I get that. I always felt like I HAD to dress fem because that's what "girls are supposed to do." Deconstructing that mindset really helped me accept myself more. Also, simply accepting that I wasn't actually a girl made me feel less like I was being forced to be fem.
I have told some people about my gender identity, and I have become fully comfortable in it as well. I reject norms and dress however I want, although that might look like giving into norms to people who don't know me.
What really started me off on becoming more comfortable dressing fem was actually a Halloween costume. Before, I had dreaded anything fem and would never wear a skirt, but after wearing my pirate costume(had a skirt), I realised it actually wasn't so bad.
Another thing that helped me was buying fem clothes that I like the look/feel of. This was a major factor in helping me become more comfortable with my fem side. If I like the look of something, I will try it on, no matter what kind of clothing item it is, but I wasn't like that before.
Just remember to not force yourself into doing something you're not comfortable with. You don't have to dress fem, but if you want to, then that's OK :)
Take your time and be patient with yourself. Finally accepting the side of you that you dislike can be tough, but I believe in you :]

David Bowie is a rich straight white man who I heard is racist, and at the very least benefits from his white privilege, and refuses to atone/make amends by being anti-racist or supporting marginalised communities like the lgbtq community. You shouldn’t support his bigotry and intolerance by listening to his music, listen to some POC or LGBTQ artists instead to support diversity and inclusion. Just my advice.

He wanted MTV to feature more POC artists on their shows and was also part of Rock Against Racism :) He was an ally to the black community and promoted peace and love for all :D That’s just what I read, but lmk if you find anything different :]

Hi..? Im kinda feeling down today. Certain ppl in my life just dont get alot of stuff that i go thru. I dont really wanna talk about it cuz i already ranted about it in a document 😭😭😭 but, these videos bring me a lot of comfort and happiness and hope. Because of the state the place i live is in, i dont really feel safe going out of my house or meeting new people. Because im afraid they'll hate me for who i am and they'll hurt me and my family. I feel like we scored as far as a landlord can go. We were her first tenants. She has never raised our rent and its in our contract that we get 3 months in advance if costs have to go up like rent or trash or septic. and our rent for a one bed one bath park model is $850 in the winter $950 in the summer. She understands mental health and that keeping property clean is not the most important thing, but functionality and following the parks rules (which is mainly just....dont give the gate code out and dont be super loud and dont throw trash away unless its in a garbage bag lol) she knows we have basically died several times and her management and repair guy struggles with his mental health and instead of firing him or kicking him out she paid for his rent (he usually works for her to cover rent) and made sure he went to a hospital. hes doing a lot better now

In 8th grade I had a few classes with some guys who I didn’t ever expect to become close with but I did. They were 6 foot tall football and lacrosse players who were some of the sweetest guys I’d ever met. (For reference, I’m a 5’1 nonbinary kid so me and these guys were some very unlikely pairs). We had a intro to theater class and at one point I talked about the harassment I’d experience in the halls and classrooms of my school. For the rest of that semester, those guys would walk on either side, behind me, basically just surround me and block out any catcalling or comments I’d get in the halls. If someone pushed me from behind one of them would sling their arm over me and keep them from pushing me again. I think about those guys a lot because I know they were raised right. It gives me hope that there are some guys out there who are willing to protect those who experience harassment, bullying, abuse, etc. I hope they’re doing well and are continuing to help people. :)

Bro I think I have autism but my mom would literally die if I told her, like she fought me on even the label ADHD and if I told her it was a neurological disorder she would lose it. Oh and autism?? Forget that. I gotta wait man. 🚶🏾
Spread it like gossip at school, if you still go to school. Have a friend, tell a friend, to tell a friend, to tell their PTA mom that works in the marching band your in, to tell the teacher, to tell the guidance counselor, to tell your mom to get you assessed.
Just make it seem like it wasn't your idea. Get someone of someone of someome of someone important to nudge your mom. Rinse and repeat baby.

Ugh my parents are the same. My mom literally had a full meltdown because my therapist dared to mention an autism diagnosis. She was crying about how I was lying to him about it and doing it on purpose to make her life harder or some shit

todays book recommendation is if we were villains. it’s a fantastic murder mystery book and i love it!! it’s set in a prestigious arts school, with the murder occurring in a tight knit group of theater seniors. the book is written from the perspective of the only one of the group who was charger with murder and sentenced, and the book is his description of the events that led him here. wonderfully dark and a bunch of plot twists. as always, my name is Rin, i use they/she pronouns and i will give you book recommendations if you type a genre in the comments!

@@morigaena333 Oh its an shark they sell at ikea. Trans people have adopted it as a symbol for us. Not sure the exact reason why, whether because it's blue, white, and pink for the trans colors, it's nice to hug on dysphoric days, or something else. Not quite sure. But uh yeah, Blåhaj is an ikea shark!

just watched the movie 65, the movie is bad, the main thing that irked me was this race of intergalactic space travelers and they still gotta work to pay medical bills. Not to mention the flowers, grass and made up dinosaurs...also why is anyone speaking English in this movie?
