Gods, I feel this. I got in trouble so much for this in school-I ended up having a math disability that was never helped, lol. So duh I was not engaged when I liked doing maths but then got punished if it wasn’t exactly right.

YESSS, this. I have a lot of various disabilities, some diagnosed some not, and I use a cane because it helps. I don’t need to know exactly why as long as it does. I still want a diagnosis, but until then I’m helping myself.
I am an undiagnosed autistic, I have done so much research, I match up with some behaviors and symptoms and including the more physical aspects like not being able to distinguish between cramps, hunger, or stomach aches/sickness, my body not getting signals for stuff in time, [whether it be hunger or whatever else-] and oddly enough back pain which is odd since I've had several other autistic friends with back problems, I do indeed do a bit of toe walking and some how, despite all these symptoms and research my mom believes it's impossible for me to be autistic because she stereotypes all autistic people either being super geniuses [which i am smart but not on that level-] or high support needs autistics, don't get me wrong, i love my mom, i just wish she'd look through the glass closet and at least come to terms with the idea that i definitely have some neurodivergence- which i suspect runs in the family in a way i can't yet explain because i barely get to see my relatives since most are dead and others.. well I don't know what happened to the others-
either way i don't think I'm invalid since i relate heavily to many other autistic people, have symptoms and behaviors- and I can't currently get a diagnosis until I'm older, and even then I'd probably need to leave the country I'm currently in due to hostile environment [because cotton candy colors yippee yippee] so I need to make sure getting a diagnosis will not mess up my immigration and whatnot

I participated in a protest for the first time yesterday. The organizers disrupted the seattle pride fest parade and invited onlookers to get up and join them in marching. I joined and so did my group of friends. Cops tried to keep breaking up the group. If anyone sees any news about this please let me know because i searched and searched but couldnt find ANY coverage on the protest

@@ErutaniaRose Hmm, sorta hard to describe? Basically it’s about people with special powers (Abilities), but almost all the ability users share names with famous writers, and the abilities’ names are based on things they’ve written!
Since it’s set in Japan (Yokohama specifically), the main cast is all Japanese writers, but it some more well known (in the West) characters include *Edgar Allen Poe* (ability: Black Cat in the Rue Morgue), *Fyodor Dostoevsky* (ability: Crime and Punishment) *H. P. Lovecraft* (Great Old One)
The main cast is the ‘Armed Detective Agency,’ a group that handles cases that are too difficult or violent for the police. Most of the members of the Agency have abilities (hence ‘armed’). There’s also the Port Mafia, which you can probably deduce is a mafia!! In a port!!!! (because Yokohama is a port city)
Honestly I really like BSD, it’s one of my favourite animes. My personal favourite characters are Chūya Nakahara and Edgar Allen Poe.
HOWEVER! I wouldn’t recommend if you’re sensitive to su!c!de references, as a particular character makes them rather a lot. There’s also a pretty hefty amount of personal injury due to people’s abilities being able to heal them (one guy repeatedly gets his leg cut off).

Deleted my old comment about being kicked out because after a blow out fight we all sat down and worked things out. We’re gonna go to family therapy and work on our issues and as of right now im safe and not getting kicked out. Thank you everyone for your kind words and support. This has been one of the worst weeks of my life but if i can move forward and end up with a better relationship with my family then it was worth it. Not just for me but for my siblings. this might not be true but i noticed that many of the tiktoks by poc folks featured in your videos are solely educational and seem to be targeted at white people. i know that your audience is predominantly white but id loooove to see more poc tiktoks made for poc that center poc joy and just poc celebrating our cultures. i know that its hard to find things like those because algorithms or even to make those kinds of tiktoks because every single moment of our life is affected by racism and white supremacy but its also veeeeeeeery tiring to think of that all the time and to see little to no content that centers around joy and not educating white people or our generational trauma. anyways, thats just me

2:05 as a white person, I will always call out every single other white person who does the things shes talking about, GLADLY. I would also always ALWAYS want for people to call my ass out if I ever spoke over people of color, I’ve been working for the past few years to make sure I know my place in things, and I would like to think I understand said place by now. The thing about us as white people is we literally DONT have a place in these conversations. It’s not about us. People who call themselves allies love to make things about themselves and how progressive they are, love to have the identity of caring about others and then when those people they claim to care about tell them that they’re doing more harm than good, they get all fucking pissy about it. In a general sense, white allies are important, that’s the same for every other oppressed group; we want people who aren’t oppressed to stand up for us, that’s what everyone is working towards. But people have to remember that if you are not the one affected, then shut the fuck up and listen.
See, I hate things like this. I don't know what it is in me, but I hate being excluded from anything. Conversations, events, whatever. so when I am told that "Oh, you don't belong in this conversation", all it does is make me even more determined to butt in.
