do you ever think about how inaccessible a lot of stuff is for minors? like physically. older people often complain that their kids spend too much time inside and don't ever go anywhere, but the reality is there's nowhere to go without a driver's license. sure, there may be a playground one or two miles away, but where do teenagers have to hang out? people see "loitering teenagers" as a problem to be fixed with punishment rather than . . . giving them somewhere to go.
when teenagers are ridiculed for staying inside and punished for going out, what the hell are they meant to do?
just in general, i feel as though we as a society brush off the valid concerns and problems minors have as "a lack of experience," or "not a big deal," or as many are told, "you're too young to be having those problems." it's frustrating. i may not be much older, but it frustrated me then and it still does now.

I genuinely don't understand how the students in my high school are so unaware and apathetic to the sociopolitical and economic stuff going on in the world. There are multiple genocides going on in the world right now and no one in my high school ever talks about it. I've only met 2 students in my high school who are conscious about what's going on in the world, but those two are explicitly pro-patriarchy, pro-capitalism, anti-trans, anti-anything not heterosexual, pro-Israel, Christian nationalist, etc. They also always mock people living in the global south, they say it's just a joke but they clearly view them as inferior and barbaric. I hate it.

I mean I think it might be related to my dissociation / dissociative amnesia, but idk. Maybe that's just always been my unique way of recalling memories.
I dissociate a lot, and my memories are a little strange as well. I don’t see things in third person, but most of my memories are just mental pictures. Especially from when I was younger, I just have a few pictures in my head but don’t remember anything else. It would definitely make sense that you see things in 3rd person from dissociation.
@@The_Therian_Ivy I get the mental pictures too, tho usually I can get them to kind of animate a bit when I concentrate
I used to think that that was just because I had looked at photos of those moments, but it makes much more sense that it's related to dissociation.
I do see a good portion of my memories in the third person, but to my knowledge I don’t think I experience the sort of dissociation that you’re describing. (I don’t know if I dissociate, I have not done too much research about it, and am not sure what it feels like. I hope this answers your question! :) )

The other day during school i randomly became convinced that the floor was covered in invisible things (maggots or leeches or something) that would crawl up people and go through their eyes, and then needed to go home. Does anyone here have experience with Vyvanse? Do you know if the sleep issues are normal or is this something i should bring up with a doctor? I can fall asleep easily but i wake up after a few hours and can't get back to sleep but i dont know if its related to the meds or something else or if its just a side effect of the meds that will go away. I have been on them for just over three weeks i think
I was on the lowest dose for a couple months and didn’t notice much of anything. It didn’t make my pre-existing sleep problems worse. My sleep problems sound similar to yours and aren’t related to medication since I’m not taking any right now, but if you think they’re connected, you should probably tell your doctor.

I worked on my fursuit's tail today, the tail is built wrong in general so it probably has spinal problems if we're talking in a realistic sense [but thats okay, i have a tail bone injury that always manages to reactivate at the worst moments possible, so we match] once I'm done with it i may make a mask/other things with the left over foam since it's not thick enough to work on paws and whatnot.
Also- i keep smelling this weird burnt, sweet scent and i checked everywhere and i still can't find where it's coming from, maybe it's not real- this has been going on for years and it's driving me rabid- i swear I will bite someone [for legal purposes, this is a hyperbole/joke- we do not condone biting people]

good question! I'm not a full on objekt, I'm a half objekt bkus I still have artificial sentience therefore not making me a plain objekt, bkus objekts normally don't have sentience. I also see robots as fellow half-objekts so that helps! 2 me, if an objekt has sentience in any form, it's a half-objekt. I have sentience and konsider myself a half-objekt.
