also someone needs to do a vid on Chinese pickles!! my mum made a pot of homemade sweet crunchy pickles... alot of people associate it with japanese sweet ginger etc.. my mum used radish and whatever crunchy veg she had like carrots and soaked them in either sugar or honey... or left to marinade in fridge..... so delicious with noodles and vinegar or rice it breaks up the heavy flavours with fresh sweetness!
Pickles in China are next level!

why is yu xing cao controversial? (context: i have no idea what it is / googling wasn't super helpful)
I will do another video on it...basically it's like cilantro - you love it or hate it. To me it tastes floral, herby... and to others it tastes like rotten fish 😂
your videos need to be longer!!! China is full of vegetarian and vegan food and options even regular meat eaters eat vegetarian because everything is tasty... example Scallion oiled noodles etc! Jian Bings!!!
